Amazing meal tonight with Winston, our server, doing a great job balancing attentiveness with allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversation. We had Flemings and Caesar salads, half portions, mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach and split a perfectly cooked Main filet. Yum. Was delicious and satisfying. No room for dessert this time.

Anniversary, and New YearsEve, obviously. We go once a year. We love Flemings. Very loud and crowded this year. The food was all excellent, except the steaks were not as good as they’ve been in the past. The sear was overdone and my wife’s filet was medium well at least. Not medium. I consider Flemings an experience. Fine dining, atmosphere, service. That’s what you pay for. Didn’t get that this year. I wish more people viewed it that way and showed up wearing decent clothing instead of baseball caps and flannel shirts - personal opinion.

We hit it on a bad night. It was crowded being Tuesday with their special, plus both meeting rooms were full. Very loud. Tables too close. My wife and I could not speak at normal level. Long waits for food + service (2 1/2 hours). Asparagus wrinkled and dry; steak not juicy or flavorful. Busy kitchen! We expect perfection when paying over $200 for two people.

I picked this restaurant because I’ve been there years before and I knew the steaks would be excellent. But tonight I had ordered a shrimp cocktail and it didn’t taste just like I thought it should. I didn’t say anything at the time. But later that evening I got very sick to my stomach and I was up all night. I think it was due to the shrimp that I had. we were headed to Florida the next morning by plane and I even got sick on the plane. By the time I got to Florida and to the Resort I had to lay down and I slept for approximately 15 hours. by the next evening I was at least able to get something down and basically everything was somewhat back to normal. By the way the rest Of a meal verb my wife and I had that night was very tasty and the staff was very courteous. This incident will keep me from coming back and try and the restaurant again I’m just may not have the shrimp next time….. my meal was on August 3 2022

We love going to Fleming's. It was our anniversary so we decided to go there. The bar menu looks excellent, so we will be back but we ordered our favorites instead. The only disappointment was that we were not even offered a dessert to share as a compliment for our anniversary. What's with that?

We had the absolute best time celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Our server, James, was so kind + thoughtful throughout our menu. Fleming's used to provide patrons with excellent bread. No longer. What is called a French baguette is more like a Fort Dodge loaf, not to demean Fort Dodge. So, one's meal starts off on a downward trajectory. Fortunately, it turns upward quickly. The service is excellent and the restaurant policy that permits even sharing half-orders of sides is welcoming. The steak was excellent, the sides were very good, and my wife really enjoyed her shrimp cocktail. So ... the meal, except for the bread, was very nice. We discovered that the restaurant makes an excellent cracker when we mentioned the poor bread to our server. If we had been able to make that choice earlier ... the server, winking, and telling us to skip the bread and order the crackers instead ... our visit would have been more pleasant.

Steak cooked wrong and was spiced too heavily with unappealing spices. The lobster was mushy and tasted incredibly fishy. The leeks in the potato au gratin overpowered the entire dish. The caesar's salad and bread w/spread was good. Although they did remove the price of my entree from our bill, which I appreciated, I would not recommend this restaurant.
