We will be back!
Our server, Don, was amazing! He was the best we have had in a while at a fine dining place. The noise level was a little too loud for us. We had trouble hearing each other across the table. As the dinner neared the end, the noise level did lower to a more reasonable level. Recommend for special occasions.
My husband and I were both impressed. The food was served on heated plates so our meal remained warm throughout the dinner. He said it was the best strip steak he has ever had!
We had a very relaxed dinner with a wonderful server .
Steak wasn’t very good this time- dry and tough. Waiter phoned it in for us also.
Food and wine were great, although they seem to have a bias towards CA wines and very VERY limited international wines. Order was messed up so guests were left waiting on their correct order. Provided concession for meals and wine after being asked 3x.
Great steaks but def not 5*.
Jury is still out about the new menu. I will miss the small plates menu
They made our anniversary special. With food food and service to boot! Is a little loud though.
Our server Chris H. was excellent!
It was Mother’s Day and my wife likes the food and the atmosphere.
The steaks were incredible and the service was simply tremendous. The "family style" sides were delicious, but make sure to ask how many people they serve. The mashed potatoes that were delivered would barely serve two, let alone the size table that we had. I would highly recommend the mac and cheese. It had a unique flavor that left us wanting the recipe! The decor was pleasant, but the restaurant was very loud and made conversation difficult. Overall, a "nice to try" dinner experience, but not one that I would rush back to try again.
Loud environment, so so service, average food, way overpriced.
Used to be better, wont go back
Overall experience was great. My spouse is vegan so it was limited as far as her choices on the menu went. Aged ribeye was fantastic. Flemings potatoes were good. Mac and cheese was fantastic. Bread was good but the Champaign infused butter was fantastic.
Service was outstanding.
I felt that the pricing of the food and drinks were high.
Wonderful food and great staff. My favorite restaurant in Dayton area by far. Much better service and higher quality food than pine club or Oakwood club. Go here if you want to have the best!
Fleming's just never disappoints! Had a great experience and impressive food!
Spent nearly 2.5 hours in the restaurant - just a great place to gather & enjoy people.
Steven our waiter was awesome. Thanks for running my credit card out to me when I left without it
Very nice restaurant, upscale with price and food to match.. Recommend..
Perfectly cooked steaks! Everything was completely delicious.
Steaks and sides were delicious. Our waitress was really good, friendly. Paige was her name. The only thing I could say that was negative was that we were never told what the specials were that night. Other than that, she did an excellent job.
We went on Monday night because of the ads we had seen about a dinner special. The ads was on their website and even as a pop-up. It was a filet & lobster with salad and dessert for $50. When we asked the server about the special we were told they hadn't had any Monday specials since March! When got home looked on their website and there it was the Monday special I went there specifically to have! Very disappointing! Food ending up selecting was excellent but was disappointed they would not serve me the special for some reason.
It was delicious. Probably the best steak we've ever had. The crab on top of the steak was magnificent and the lobster tail was buttery and rich. Could have done without the chocolate lava cake, everyone kept raving about it so we tried it and if was pretty dry for a lava cake. But the rest of the meal was incredible!
The food was good not great. The atmosphere is kinda boring. The steaks lack flavor of a Jeff Ruby’s or precinct. The pine Club is far better.
We went appetizers and small plates, which shows the variety of the menu. The food and service were excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful.
Jerry is amazing! Best server by far, he made the night that much more special
Way overpriced and 3 different people asked us if everything was "perfect" multiple times which was annoying...the lava cake was all lava and no cake. Not going again.
We ordered two ribeyes and two filets; all were cooked perfectly, seasoning for the ribeyes were on-point however both filets were disappointing (under-seasoned and tough). I understand not every cut yields the best product so I can’t get on Flemings for that however I have ran into this under-seasoning issue several times before (certain days of the week with a certain chef); you should be concerned from a managerial level if the majority of tables are seasoning their own dishes. Rant done. Caesar was excellent per usual. Service was quick. Manager didn’t touch base with our table which was unusual but it was pretty busy. I will be back. Main recommendation would be cook consistency and possibly meat as well (I don’t run into this at Ruth’s or Mastro’s).
Service was great. Manager checked in. Food was prepared to perfection.
Always wonderful food and service!
Excellent free valet service, great service and fine food and wine.
A place for a special occasion and worth the price v
While the food was very good, well presented, it was no better than other top-notch restaurants in our Dayton, Ohio area. What shocked me was the cost of each item! Overpriced compared to other fine restaurants. Probably will not go back unless my business or out-of-town guest specifically requests this restaurant.
Fleming’s always deliver impeccable service and great food. Our family truly enjoys the experience every time.
Great service and outstanding meal! We go every year for birthday's and anniversary's as it is a family favorite restaurant. Always has great tasting steaks and delicious sides. It is good to make reservations in advance to make sure you get the date and time that you want.
Great service and food but this place is too dark, need little bit more lighting.
Lobster tail was excellent. Halibut special was a bit dry and average in portion and quality. First time ever feeling rushed thru dinner. Normally excellent overall but this visit wasn't. Will try again.
The staff goes out of there to make your evening a dinning experience!
For a number of years I have enjoyed eating at Fleming's. I have used it for special dinners,
birthday parties and anniversaries. It has become very popular now with somewhat of a higher
noise level. The food remains the same good quality as before. The service is always impeccable, however, wtih a full house, the service was slow. This did not matter since we were
there to enjoy the evening.
We dined at Fleming's per my husband's request. Frankly, I think there are better restaurants. The food is overpriced for what you get. I ordered a steak, their specialty, and it wasn't even prepared properly. In fact, the waiter was looking over my shoulder as I cut into it and immediately came to the table because he could see it wasn't cooked properly. I was very disappointed. My recommendation will not be to return here any time in the near future.
Overall it was a good experience. My food turned out fine, but my wife did have issues with her steak temp. The server and management did a great job in resolving.
