Fleming's Steakhouse - Coral Gables Ratings and Reviews
The table was great. But when the food arrived the main course arrived without the sides and we had to ask for them. The fries were cold so they reheated still not really very warm. My wifes steak was not great she ordered the filet and it was stringy and had tendons in it. The Ceaser salad was not great. Would not return my filet was better but not as good as the Palm although the price is the same. I have to say our server was really good I guess Valentines Day was a bad night for them.
Great place but pricey. The location and service was excellent. Food seemed of great quality. Great wines, meats and desserts. Only problem was the inside temperature of meat. Filet Mignon was undercooked and Angus Ribeye was overcooked. Best thing is the service. Very attentive from the moment you walk in. Maybe another day it will be perfect if we decide to go back.
I had heard a lot about this restaurant in advance, my sister in law gave us a gift card. Although we enjoyed the meal and the food was good it felt a bit stuffy for my taste.
The waiter was very dry, the meal took a bit long to come. Had the calamari as appitizer and was very tasty. I had the lamb chops, called a small plate on the menu. Almost changed my mind when I asked the waiter about it, he mentioned it was very small. Not sure if it was because it was one of the lower priced items. I received 3 small chops, perfect meal size for me. All side are extra so we shared the mashed potatoes nothing special. Husband had the filet and said it was a bit dry. Overall enjoyed the evening but thought it was overpriced.
Went in with a few of my friends for a little new job celebration. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and very attentive. Throughout our stay our drinks were constantly topped off and our table crumbed. Food wise, the crab cakes were excellent. And the 16 oz dry aged prime ribeye was probably the best steak I’ve ever had. I was not expecting the chocolate congratulations and the little desert box it was a very nice finishing touch! All in all I would highly recommend to a friend.
The service was 5 star the waitress knew the menu well and I took her recommendations - went with a steak and she picked the wine - both were perfect. She also allowed us the option of 1/2 orders of vegetables which allowed us to enjoy two. It's obvious that the staff and management are there to ensure your customers have a great dining experience and we did! The food was awesome and when 5 star service goes along with it it's a great experience...
Enjoyable with good service. Loud Restsurant which lacks acoustic value. We arrived at 5PM for our reservation as scheduled. First in restaurant and selected table near the booths - we were a family of three adults. Four people came in shortly after us and they were seated in the booth directly behind us. They had a lively discussion which made it challenging for us to talk and we did not want to talk loud to overpower them !!
Two of us had prime rib, mine had a lot of fat. Cooked perfectly.
My wife specified medium cooking and hers was delivered medium rare.
There were plenty of wait staff so we did not understand why they crammed us and the other group onto the small area when the restaurant was empty at 5PM!
Dinner was absolutely delicious!from the lobster bisque(the best I have ever had,and I've had some!)to the perfectly cooked filet mignon, truffled risotto as good as in Italy and best carrot cake ever!on top of it Manuela was a great server;truly a wonderful night.
Excellent service and appetizers; however, we were a party of 4 and three of the meals came out at room temperature. The fourth meal was an 8 oz filet ordered medium and was cooked well done resulting in a dry filet. I’m sure that it was an isolated bad night. We decided not to return or complain.
Pretends to be a fancy steakhouse, but unfortunately does not produce. Service is between average and good, lack to details. The food was mediocre, my steak arrived not hot, but it was well cooked. The sides were good. My wife had the jumbo shrimp for appetizer, they were not jumbo shrimp.
Quality price is not worth going back.
Went to celebrate our anniversary and from the moment we walked in we were made to feel special. The service was impecable, the steak out of this world. We have been celebrating our special occasions at another restaurant closer to home which is known for its exceptional food since my husband is a foodie but the last time we were there, the service was not very good so we decided to try Flemings. Could not have asked for a better experience.
