Very expensive for what it is.. service isn’t as top notch as other steakhouses in Boston. Ambience isn’t great- not worth the noney

We had the best experience at Fleming’s It was our Anniversary and they were so accommodating from the managers to the servers. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The steaks were one of best we’ve ever had and the chipotle Mac and cheese was great also. All I can say is thank you for making our Anniversary so special.

Sergio was the most phenomenal server that my girlfriend and I have ever had. He was extremely polite, professional, and attentive. My glass was never empty, and my girlfriend’s teapot was always full. Sergio definitely made this a great experience.
The hostesses were also great, they greeted us right away with big smiles and showed us to our table promptly. Later on, one of the hostesses (Katie, I believe) even stopped by our table to ask how everything was and to congratulate us on our anniversary.
Lastly, the General Manager, Jodie, stopped by to ask us how everything was at the end of the meal also. I realized that he was the man that I spoke to last time when I had a bad first experience at Fleming’s. He apologized and made sure that my next visit would be perfect, and it was!

We arrived for a pre-theater meal and planned to order off of the "pre-theater 3 course menu starting at $49.95" that was advertised as a Broadway in Boston subscriber benefit. The waitress had no idea what we were talking about, but when we asked to speak to a manager it was no problem. Even though he was not aware of the advertisement I had seen, once I showed it to him online he crafted a 3 course menu with choices for us on the fly. He checked on us multiple times during the meal and even comped my glass of wine. After a rocky start, our dinner turned out to be fantastic - mostly because of the service!

For $50 you'd expect the Rib Eye to have a lot more fat trimmed off of it. The service was very slow, told waiter at time of seating we had a show to get to, which he acknowledged several times. However, service was very slow and we had to rush our meal rather than being able to savor the over priced fatty beef.
We were given a small box of truffles since we had no time for dessert, which was a nice gesture. Granted it was a busy Saturday night, a restaurant with the reputation of Flemings should be able to handle the pace and get people served in a more timely manner so as not to be rushed to eat and make a show.
Food was unremarkable and overpriced for what we received. Other steakhouses do a much better job.
Loved it. Best steak we ever had! Elvis was an excellent & friendly waiter without pretention. Very expensive but worth the splurge. 8 min walk from Opera House!
My wife and I have selected Fleming's to celebrate special occasions such ad birthdays and anniversary's. This celebration was to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary. We find the food never disappoints and our server Christopher was outstanding.
Everything was great, food was amazing as was our awesome server.
Totally a 5 star dinner. Many steak houses in Boston but flemings is the one that is always consistantly perfect

Fleming's never disappoints. The service is truly exceptional and they truly go above and beyond to ensure their guests leave happy. My mother and I go here regularly and every time it is a wonderful experience. We shared a rib-eye, the Fleming's potatoes, and creamed spinach. My steak was just a tad underdone for my liking so they cooked it a bit more and then compensated us with a complimentary dessert and sent us home with a box of truffles - totally unnecessary as the under-cooking was not a big deal and was remedied very quickly. But, that is the kind of excellent service that keeps us going back!
We had a wonderful evening! From start to finish! We were greeted with a warm welcome! We started our evening at the bar, and Marc gave us wonderful service! While at the bar a few friends came in and we decided to move into the dining room! Jody the manager, was so accommodating, and Aggie our server was fun, knowledgeable and so friendly! Our food was perfectly prepared and delicious! The cheesecake and lava cake were amazing and the perfect end to our get together! Thank you Flemings for a memorable evening!! We will be back soon!!
We had a great experience at Fleming's. Although we arrived late for our reservation (we did call to let them know), our waiter, Georgi was wonderful. We explained that we have a show to catch and he was timely and considerate. The entire staff was very accommodating. The atmosphere is very nice and the food was excellent! We will be back.

Celebrated my boyfriends birthday here. Wonderful experience. Service was excellent our waiter I believe his name was Chris was awesome, very attentive. Definitely recommend this place.
Made reservations for my Grandmothers Birthday. Aj was our server for the evening and he is the best. The food was great and so was the portions. Will be coming back.
Our reservation was made well in advance. We were in Boston visiting our son at Boston University for Parents Weekend. We went to the restaurant on Oct 20, 2018. The put us in the far last table closest to the kitchen. It was horrible atmosphere back there. Our reservations were early enough in the evening that they could have sat us in a better location. Then, they gave us a new waiter. He was fine but it wasn't like our past experiences when we have dined at Mortons Steakhouse. The waiter who delivered our food even gave our new waiter a hard time in front of us when the new waiter had written down our order on his ticket in the wrong order so the "seasoned" waiter delivering our food was made to look bad. Our son's steak was asked to be cooked medium. It came our very red and raw. We finally convinced him to send it back. Once it did get re-cooked (almost 15 mins later) it was cooked properly but the rest of us had already finished our meals. All in all, I think we will stay with Mortons.
Ask for Tim - he is amazing, knowledgeable, and attentive. He is everything you would love in a server. The food was delicious and one of the reasons I always come back. Additionally, the noise level allowed for a dinner where me and my family could share conversation without having to raise our voices. Yes. I will definitely be back and will continue to come as well as recommend it to everyone I know.
Always love the services and food here. Friendly management team and server. Server knowledgeable of the menu and help you select best food for your meal. They will recommend you to order enough food for you and your party to share so that you can enjoy everything; not like other restaurants where server want you to order lots of foods so that they can make more sale to get more tips. Appetizer and side dish portion are huge so good to share. They just increase their price and it’s much a little expensive. We spent total $250 for 2 adult and 2 kids, which is reasonable for us for a special event. Definitely will be back.

as always, this place is top notch with food prepared perfectly. outstanding service. romantic ambience wherever you are seated. i celebrated my birthday here as my choice of restaurant. they made it very personal without being asked (see picture). i will make many more visits here!
only disappointments were
#1- no more KONA rub or any rubs for the meats (that being said, i mentioned to the manager and he said to let them know ahead and they will make sure they have it for me. - WHAT EXCELLENCE!)
2- prime rib is gone.

Steaks came out perfectly cooked, seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly as well ... desserts were yummy from the lava cake (not over cooked full of lava) key lime pie & caramel chocolate layer cake - very rich !
This was my first experience with Flemings'. I found their restaurant definitely cozy and the ambiance was nice. Our server - Dave - was also great! I've been in the customer service industry for many years and also worked at a high-end restaurant in Columbus for over 4 years. Dave's expertise, suggestions and wine service were fabulous. A few points of feedback, he did drop off the WINE LIST and note it was the WINE LIST, so I opened it up and there were no bottles less than $65. A few of them were highly overcharged (even compared to the Strip by Strega inside the Boston Park Plaza). For example I purchased the Justin Cabernet the night before at Strip for $75 and this bottle was double in price at Flemings. It was after I purchased a bottle from the Wine List that I opened the FOOD MENU and saw a few "local" bottles of wine that were cheaper than on the main wine list. I was with a special guest so wasn't going to mention this. I just found that there could be a little extra commentary in the beginning of the service so I was aware there were other wine options. For my appetizer I received the French Onion soup (which is always a hit or miss for me) and it was very flavorful and really enjoyed it. However, I felt the presentation could have been a lot nicer for a $14 bowl of soup. The bread bowl - I loved the 3 options - however I didn't like that I needed to pull apart all 3 of them - especially when you have a guest and I didn't want to use my hands to pull it apart so attempted to cut the bread with a knife. I feel like with business dinners, you'd want this already done for you - even halfway cut thru. Going into dinner, I ordered the Petite Filet and wanted it "pink" inside. It came out and Dave was great at looking down and noting once I cut it that it was actually almost Well Done. I told him it was OK (again I was with a guest) but after taking a couple more bites, half of the filet was dry and definitely well done. I didn't even finish it.
Menu has changed not for the better unfortunately
