Great as always... My wife & I went to Fleming’s to celebrate her birthday and everything was wonderful. From the time we arrived at our reservation time and were seated immediately, to the attentive service and personalized touches we were not disappointed. We started with a cocktail and a couple glasses of wine with dinner - All choices were great. For starters my wife had a caesars salad and I had a wedge. The wedge was huge and could be split by 2. We shared the bone-in ribeye which was cooked perfectly along with the creamed spinach and Mac & cheese. For dessert my wife got the chocolate lava cake which was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
I like Flemings because it is an unpretentious steakhouse with good food
I've only been there twice but compared to many of the other chain steakhouses I prefer Flemings.
What I liked about Fleming's is that the portions are more reasonable and the prices appropriate. I hate places that give you too much food and you end up eating two days worth just because its there
The calamari appetizer was good and plentiful. We shared this between 2 people and it would have been fine to share with 4. Made me wonder if Flemings was becoming more like the others with huge portions. The price however was more than reasonable
A small plate shrimp and scallops dish and bone in ribeye were the main course and both were prepared well. The small plate S&S was perfect in size. The goat cheese grits it was served on made for a very interesting flavor combo. The ribeye was perfectly cooked to a medium rare and had the great butter and herb flavor you hope for.
Service was professional - timing for table visits was spot on whether it be for water, taking orders or following up
Valet parking is available at $8 but a parking deck is close by if you prefer
I did find that their iPad based menu was not well done and offered nothing over the regular menu. In general their menu could be improved
Flemmings had a bad night. Exlained as “technical difficulties”. Food prep was terrible. We orders Sea bass, filet, two orders of crab legs and cream spinach. After a long delay, the sea bass and filet arrive. No sides or crab legs. The server apologized. Then the cream spinach arrived. No crab legs (both for our wives). The server and the manager apologized. 10+ minutes later the crab legs arrived. Yes, the manager took care of us. But, we will not be in any hurry to return.
Fantastic!!! Seriously best idea for Thanksgiving ever! Their food is always terrific but they were on fleek tonight. They did 650 covers and our experience was amazing. They have HH every day and so we got drinks in the bar while we waited for our table to be bussed. Lauren our bartender was amazing and it was packed! Bianca our waitress was great and Kyle (the manager) made the rounds and welcomed us. A+++ experience!
We celebrated my husband's birthday. The service here is great. I had lobster tails and he had filet and lobster. Our dishes were very delicious. I love their crispy brussel sprouts. They gave my husband some truffles as a birthday gift and that was unexpected.
I had a 7:30 reservation for Friday night got there on time they said no openings, and there where no openings at the bar. So we stood for 45 minutes until a nice booth or ? was available. No offer of free anything for the delay. So Friday night here go early or go late, or do not go. You have to many other choices to dine in Birmingham. Captain
The filet and lobster special was marvelous. Filet cooked as ordered medium rare plus and the lobster was sweet and moist. Decor is comfortable and pleasing. Caesar salad was presented well but dressing was a little heavy for me. Desert was chocolate lava cake with ice cream. Excellent rich desert easy to share.
This was our first time at this location. It was date night The food, ambiance, and service was awesome. I am a Landry Club member and I will get lots of points from this location for my membership. I strongly suggest Fleming's Birmingham location. Thanks to the entire staff from entrance to exit!!!😊😊
Great food and good deals when they offer specials. The filet and lobster special was very good and they serve the food very hot so is always just right. They allow you to bring your own wine in if they don't carry it, so for wine lovers this is great! Corkage fee is appropriate so we love coming here.
I took my wife to Flemings for a normal dinner. The food was excellent as it always is. Our server, Bianca, was always at hand to make sure the drinks were full and we were happy with everything. While we can't always go there we try to have it as a special place for us!
Outstanding! Mike, our server was amazing. The crab cakes were made of all crab. The 20oz bone-in ribeye was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Bob, co-owner, made sure everything was to our liking. This was an awesome experience for a birthday celebration.
