Had a nice dinner out with my husband, our waiter was exceptional, loved his spirit and was very courteous. His name was George would love to have him any day.
Flemings provided a wonderful, delicious, finish to a hard-working day of marathon running. The wine recommendation was wonderful, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The ambience was beautiful, cozy, and was the perfect ending to a great day!
Great food, excellent service that made for a wonderful evening out.
Only minor issue is that there weren't many diners and we were seated near to the door to a private party that was loud and kept leaving the door open. Not really Fleming's fault, but they could have seated us farther away. It did not ruin the evening, just a distractor....or, maybe it's that I'm getting old and I can't hear above crowds, anymore, either.
I highly recommend Fleming's.
Our server was amazing, the scenery was very relaxing, we had a wonderful time.
Steak was perfectly cooked, service was excellent
I believe what was supposed to be a filet mignon was actually a NY strip. Not particularly flavorful either.
This will be our third visit to Fleming's, and it never disappoints. The food and service were excellent. There seemed to be some confusion when we checked in for our table, but it appeared to be quickly sorted out. Thanks.
Probably the best steak I've *ever* had, and I eat a lot of steak. This was a total cut above. The service was absolutely amazing. Attentive, friendly, and helpful, without being annoying or in-your-face. We had a very late reservation, and we ended up being the last people in the restaurant. The wait staff was super professional, and didn't make us feel rushed or anything. It felt like we were no bother at all. I can't say enough good things about this place.
The customer service and food alike were amazing. The atmosphere was very romantic and inviting. I loved everything about my experience here and I look forward to another amazing dining experience at Flemings!
Outstanding restaurant. Our favorite in Austin. The food and service are always fantastic! With many downtown options, Flemings is our first choice always.
Our server was superb.
Service was amazing and our waiter did an excellent job with the wine pairing for our dinner. Will definitely be back!
Wonderful anniversary dinner. Oscar was an outstanding server the food, service, ambiance and drinks were phenomenal! We will definitely be back. The carpaccio, dear lord that was delicious
As ever, the food and service at Fleming's in Austin is excellent. However at it's price point, it's a once a year experience.
Always great food, great wine, and a fabulous experience.
No complaints. Run of the mill steak house.
Group ordered a combination of steak and fish plus sides. Kitchen did not coordinate and sides + fish were at best warm. Not what would expect for the price paid!
Overall it was a very enjoyable meal. The only issue with the meal was that I ordered my fillet medium and it was medium rare to medium. I did eat the steak as it came, and it was good but I have had better tasting fillets. The side dishes (mushroom saute and Fleming potatoes) were both outstanding. Service was overall above average and the waiter did an outstanding job helping me to select a dinner wine. Dessert (cheesecake) was fabulous. Would return again.
George is a great server! He made it a fun night!!
Food and service were both exceptional!
New Year’s Eve.
They added extra tables for NYE and ours was in the middle of what is normally a space between the tables. Waiters had trouble getting around our table. Filet was really overcooked and margarita was way too strong. My wife's meal was fine so at least one of us had a good steak. So to summarize, really loud environment (too many people in small area), 1 bad steak and bad drink.
They accepted our Christmas reservation and yet they were not open.
The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. I have to eat gluten free and the staff was very nice in answering all my questions.
Service erratic. Steaks not prepared correctly.
Food was ok, but definitely not worth their prices. We regularly go to Bob’s (I had actually been a few days before), Capital Grill, Eddie V’s and other steakhouses so ate familiar with what to expect. 2 people in our party ordered the dry aged strip to share. Instead a thin, fatty, gristly ribeye was served. My 2 biggest issues were that no one ever came back to see if things were ok, and that even if I had ordered/wanted a ribeye it would have been bad.
Very very disappointing. Over priced and over rated. The main idea was for them to get us in and out AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!! Not how we wanted to spend our Thanksgiving dinner! Noisy too.
As soon as er were seated we had to choose: soup or salad; entre; and rven dessert!! Rush, rush, rush. Wine choice was also rushed. I chose a Meiomi pont noir: $19 retail; $62 at your over rated gyp joint.
The tutkry lookrd processed, not natural. The small sides were not enough for 3 people; the cranberry servings were miniscule
My wife and I had lobster bisque; which was cold and had to be sent back
Only 3 dessert choices...on Thanksgiving!!
Bottom line: It sucked. You ruined our day. We will not be back! We will tell others.
The turkey dinner overall was not good. It was more quantity of food prep vs quality. The main menu is far better. But this makes me rethink ever coming back.
Everything was pretty phenomenon, and the server was nice, but the order was wrong and we were overcharged. I didn't notice until after the card was run, otherwise I'd have mentioned it. It was more food than I wanted and an extra 15 dollars. Not terribly happy with only that aspect.
Fleming’s was a great experience! Food was delicious, servers and manager were very friendly.
