Fleming's Steakhouse - Austin The Domain Ratings and Reviews
Restaurant is spacious and ambiance is perfect for romantic dates. Expect dim lighting and bring a camera with low light settings if you want to take optimal photos.
Im my opinion, the food was okay. For what I’m paying for, I expected it to taste better. However, service was good and it was nice having the manager stop by to wish us a happy birthday.
I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday. The service was amazing, the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure a very memorable birthday. The warm welcome when you arrive, the wait staff, the ambiance and the food was perfect!!! We will be returning!
It was my husband’s 62nd birthday last night and we held it at Fleming’s at The Domain. We were late due to traffic at Mopac and coming from South was a nightmare. We were seated after 15 mins wait and as soon as we reached our table it has confettis on it as well as a Birthday card. That’s very sweet. We ordered the Seafood Tower Large sized and it was just the beginning of all its goodness. My cocktail margarita is prepared to perfection in its every sip as well as my husband ‘s peach Bellini. My daughter had the steak and she enjoyed it. While I had the chicken double breasts that almost melt in my mouth. My husband was so satisfied with his pork chop, he said it’s so perfectly delicious from its sauce deep down the meat. He was also given a chef’s complimentary pan seared duck ... it was very good. Excellent Kudos to our server RYAN who attended to all our needs, very receptive and respectful and pleasant. He surely knows what he’s doing. During dessert, our creme brûlée came with sparklers and that’s amazing.. Ryan took photos and to our surprise he came back with a copy of photo given to my husband as a souvenir plus a small gift box with truffles in it. I don’t have enough words to express my feelings on the quality of service that went above and beyond our expectations. We have never experienced feeling so special by y’all at Fleming’s from the Valet staff to wait/reception staffs to the bar tender, all servers, chefs, bus boys etc ... we thank you from bottom of our hearts. We are very pleased with how y’all made my husband ‘s birthday so special ... we will be back that’s for sure! It’s worth a drive.
Hard to believe that this place can't cook a steak. Ordered medium rare got well. They apologized and said they would bring a replacement right out. 20 minutes later a nearly raw steak shows up, about 3x the size of the original steak. The staff tried their best to make it right but it was a ruined night for sure. Don't waste your time here.
We had a large group however our order was spot-on. The wait staff is kind and friendly and very knowledgeable. They were very helpful and I was surprised that they got everyone's order correct. Seating was punctual, on time. A fantastic selection of wines made for a wonderful evening.
This place was amazing. The food was wonderful, the service impeccable, the night was just overall great. But that level of service does come with a hefty price tag, which I was happy to pay. I’d be broke if I went there all the time but for a special occasion, Fleming’s is the way to go.
We had a drink at the bar to start. Excellent bartender. Went to our table which was decorated with sparkles for my B-Day. Our waiter was Simon. Excellent, friendly, out to please. Recommend you ask for him. Food was delicious - their special Filet and Lobster Tail. Cooked to perfection. Pre-Fix dinner included salad, entree' and desert for each of us. All in all a wonderful experience. My wife even paid the bill since it was my B-Day. Life is good !
We arrived at 4:55 for our 5pm reservation. The restroom lights were not turned on until approx. 5:10 pm which was odd, especially since 2 people waiting in the lobby inquired about them. Bill, our waiter did a fine job but our overall experience did not leave us anxious to return. We were celebrating our 27th anniversary. The experience was a bit rushed and not as nice as Capitol Grill. Plus, it was way more expensive. We spent over $200 for 2 steaks, 1 side of potatoes, 2 glasses of Champagne, and 2 glasses of wine.
Apparently showing up in a black & white polo shirt, charcoal jeans and loafers (yes, I was wearing socks), with my wife in nice turquoise jeans and blouse is a signal to seat one in the farthest back corner just outside of the kitchen and wait staff party area. The noise level was unbelievable. Did I mention that I had a reservation in place since 4 days previously? And that when we arrived there were only one table and one booth in use? And when we left almost 2 hours later there were only 4 tables and booths in use? We had great food and service - no problem there at all - but with a $240 tab I had expected a better overall experience.
My wife's birthday celebration was more than I was expecting. Our table had scattered confetti, a birthday card and our terrific waitress Christa even gave us a poloroid picture to remember the occasion. James Cooke, the manager came by as well. Overall it was a great evening.
