Fleming's Steakhouse - Atlanta Ratings and Reviews
Entire staff were professional and server was exceptional.
First time visiting for anniversary and Valentine's day. All was fine until one of the tables guests which was wearing a hoodie that it appropriate to walk and talk on his cell phone for 30 min in the main dinning room next to our table. Everyone was wondering the same. His appearance being allowed in the restaurant on such an occasion and pacing in front of us extremely took away the ambiance, class and magic for the night. Please enforce your dress code and don't allow this type of behavior!
KC made our experience perfect. He seriously took his time and put both my husband and I at ease. He tended to every need and truly made our dining experience personal and one-of-a-kind. He was honest, too- when I asked him questions, I could tell he was being genuine. The steak was the best Ribeye we've had at a restaurant. The carrot cake was delicious, not too sweet, with a touch of spice, including delicious cream cheese frosting. We were not fans of the Caesar salad, however.
We’ve been living in the area for a while now, but this was our first time at Fleming’s. Great experience! Food was great and service even better. Ideal for date nights or special occasions. I ordered the NY Strip (fantastic) and wife ordered the shrimp and scallops (she enjoyed it). Worth the money.
With reservations we had to wait about 15 min. Soup course was good. I ordered filet mignon with crab, ordered med rare. Steak came out raw absolutely no taste, the $13 crab portion was the size of a quarter, no kidding. I was really shocked. Asked the waiter about it and was told they were really busy that nite, so I waved it off. for an upper end steak restaurant I would give it 2 stars.total cost was $240. If you want a upper end steakhouse I would pick Frankie’s in Gwinnett over this place.sorry I can’t recommend this.
They were slammed Saturday and staff were ill prepared to deal with issues. They comp us a round of drinks and calamari though. The staff was very upbeat but forgot things like silverware, salt pepper, water, and to follow up. Really very basic for high end steak house. Food quality... D. Steaks good meat but overdone and tough, salads limp and half portions due to running low on lettuce. They even ran out of Belvedere and Chopin vodkas! No reason to go back.
Top notch experience from start to finish. My husband picked me up at the airport and we stopped on our way home for a great steak. Fleming's did not disappoint. Made a quick reservation from the car on Open Table, valets were quick and polite, we were early but were seated immediately. I had a difficult flight experience, so I started with a Knob Creek Old Fashioned, and it hit the spot. Giant ice cube kept the drink cold without diluting it. Our waiter was polite and personable, and the meal was exceptional. We shared two sides and split a ribeye, yum yum. An enjoyable and relaxing way to unwind from a day of travel.
It was our 14th wedding anniversary and the staff at Fleming’s made it a wonderful experience. We were greeted with well wishes from all the staff the whole time we were there. Upon arrival our table was nicely decorated with a single long stemmed red rose, a card signed by the staff a decorative confetti.
This restaurant is so overpriced for what you get..... Ruth"s Chris blows this place away. 250 dollars for dinner, shared an appetizer, no salad and one dessert , non interested server, tiny steak, over done......dark atmosphere. Longhorn is way better for a third the price. We had a gift card here....would never spend my money to come here, not good at all!!!!!
For the price, there are 10 steak spots in town doing a better job. The filet came out hard as a rock with congealed Bernaise sauce, when I order medium. My husband’s NY Strip was thin and unremarkable. The sides also were unremarkable. Again - for a $200 dinner this was not worth it. Longhorn would have been better. Our server, Morgan, was great. She worked hard to make it all come together the best she could.
Service was not up to Fleming standards. Our server was busy with other tables and often disappeared for long periods of time. Our cocktail was made incorrectly and we had to ask another food runner to have it remade. Wine was off as well. Steaks and sides were excellent. We expect much better service and execution for such an expensive dinner.
We had an overall good time . Service was great . Food was good . We did feel it was slightly over priced . We ordered the pork chop and the 8 oz filet with a truffles lobster companion. We shared Brussels sprouts and the Flemmings potatoes . We both started with the Flemmings salad as well . Each having a glass of wine .
New Year's day dinner. Less than a quarter of the tables were occupied yet took 45 minutes from the time we place our order until the dinners (3) arrived. When they did arrive one steak was so over cooked we refused it. It then took about 25 minutes for the replacement steak to arrive and that was also greatly over cooked. In addition the staff offered a complementary side dish that was also extremely over cooked and dried out. The bright spot was the server and other wait staff. who were very apologetic and comped the problem meal. We blame the chef for the poor meal.
Fleming's was packed on NYE and the food/service were off a little. I still give it 4.5 stars (rounds up to 5), but the meal pacing wasn't quite right and the chocolate lava cake - which is normally "amazing" - was just "very good". Regardless, it was a great place to celebrate the end of the year and I highly recommend Fleming's Steakhouse.
I keep trying Fleming’s every few months, hoping it’ll be a better experience, but unfortunately it never is! The staff were very polite and accommodating, the desserts were excellent but those are the only good things I can say. Like all Atlanta steakhouses this one is dark and gloomy with no natural light. The food is horribly overpriced ($17 for an appetizer of 3 small slices of thick bacon smothered in way too much overly sweet glaze), the sides are all too greasy and oily etc etc. $160 plus tip for 3 courses and no alcohol simply isn’t value for money.
I’m afraid I won’t be going back.
