Fleming's Steakhouse - Atlanta Ratings and Reviews
We had a 50% off card we had received and they were happy to have us. Our favorite Chardonnay Rombauer was priced much higher then other restaurants of same stature at $95...as were others. Our waitress was very kind and engaging. The steaks we ordered - small filets both came out as medium + when we had ordered medium and medium rare. For the price I feel we get a better value at Capital City Grille orbMcKendricj’s which are both in the same vicinity.
Flemings was extremely overpriced for the quality of food. The prices @ Flemings were similar to the prices at Bones. However, I would compare the steaks at Flemings to Longhorns. Bones is a wonderful steak house with the highest quality of meats, seafood, sides, etc . . .I cannot say the same about Flemings. In addition, the a la carte sides were nothing to write home about (droopy fries and overcooked brussel sprouts). Therefore, I would never recommend Flemings to a friend - overpriced and poor quality. And, I we will not be returning either.
Our server seemed impatient and not very friendly. It was our first time and we were trying to figure out the menu and the dish but the server seemed not interested in waiting on us and didnt offer any suggestions. My wife felt uncomfortable and thought it was because we didn't order wine. I don't drink alcohol but my wife does. The server appeared a little bit more friendly to the couple next to us. This left us wondering if we knew him or had done something to make him upset. We had to ask the gentleman with the water for some more bread. He was very pleasant.
Flemings has changed over the years in disappointing ways. While the food is still good, the restaurant doesn't feel like the special place it once was. The "specialness" made the "expensive ness" seem worth it. Now not so much...feels a bit more like Outback and less like Bones. loved the automatic small plate appetizer...gone. Loved car at curb with no wait when leaving..gone. Service not always very attentive when previously was always outstanding. Don't want to give up on them so hoping for positive changes.
We had a great experience, food was excellent and service was even better. It was my birthday and we received complimentary champagne, a rose, a photo and chocolates. They made us feel very special. My only complaint is that the steak wasn't cooked initially per our order and had to be returned.
Date night, birthday edition on Saturday! Another FANTASTIC evening at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse- Atlanta❤ Above & Beyond service by the staff, blown away! We are never disappointed and it gets better every time! They really know how to take care of their patrons! ❤ One of our favorites! If you haven't been, you're missing out!
Flemings never disappoints. This was my second visit to the restaurant chain, once in Vegas and this time in Atlanta. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and our eighth anniversary. Service and attention to detail is spectacular, not to mention the food is always on point. Fleming’s has replaced my love for Ruth’s Chris steakhouse as a serious competitor.
Service was spectacular. The maitre d Tynita seated us at a beautiful table to celebrate my promotion. The Ahi Poke Appetizer deserves 10 stars! Main Filet was cooked to perfection with a Kona Coffee Glaze. We shared the Chipotle Macaroni & Cheese. We will ask for our server Katie next time. They have a complimentary valet, so we left the gent Dave a big tip. Overall great food and hospitality. Only thing we would change is not sitting near the kitchen next time. Its great to see the progress of our meal but not hear the cooks conversations.
I chose Fleming's for my birthday as I'm a member of Dine Rewards. I wanted a more upscale experience and Fleming fit the bill. We arrived earlier than our reservation (Around 6 pm) on Saturday evening. The complimentary valet greeted us. We were seated immediately. My birthday celebration was acknowledged by the hostess upon arrival. We were served by the lovely Victoria with whom we found we had much in common. I wondered if her serving is was orchestrated. The operating partner, Mr Sinatra, came by to greet us as well, brought us champagne and took a photo to commemorate the event. The meal was fantastic. We had the special (three-course meal to include salad, lobster tail and filet mignon and dessert). Dinner was really good and the waitstaff kind and attentive. I would certainly recommend Fleming's if you're planning a special event. They really went all out to make the day special.
My wife and I made an OpenTable dinner reservations for October 18 and attended on time. I informed the front office staff of our arrival, as we always do. The lady cancelled our reservation and stated that me must dine in the dining room. This has never previously occurred to us as we dine here regularly. We will not come back until this issue is resolved.
Our group was celebrating our anniversaries. We always enjoy Flemings because the staff and food are outstanding. Tonight was no exception. Upon arrival we were cheerfully greeted by the hostess and immediately seated at our favorite table. Our server, Victoria, was waiting at the table to welcome us back and to take our drink order. After a few minutes, the general manager, Jerry Sinatra stopped by our table to congratulate us on our anniversaries. Our group enjoyed the Prime Rib special, the best around. It was tender and cooked to perfection. The special came with salad, prime rib, side and dessert. During the course of the evening Victoria was very attentive and Jerry made sure that everything was perfect. Outstanding experience, great food, personable service (thanks Victoria and Jerry). We look forward to our next adventure to Flemings.
We are repeat diners. Our greeting and seating was Professional. Our dining experience was as we planned and desired. The sequencing of the different courses was timely and the food was hot................as were the plates. This was our anniversary dinner and it could not have been carried out any better -- text book.
Highly recommend a visit.
