Fleetwood's On Front St. Ratings and Reviews
Poke appetizer was a little pricey but very well done. Lots of cucumber and avocado to go along with some tasty ahi.
Ono is a delicious fish and they did it so well.
The lemongrass addition to the creme brûlée provided a refreshing and welcome change of pace.
Service was outstanding.
while we were seated promptly, the rest of the service was slow and we did not much care for our server who spoke too loudly and while professional, was not really very friendly. Food was good and served hot and a pretty good value as we got the fixed price deal (fish). The size of the included cheese cake was nice and it was pretty good. It was hard to figure out the bill as each item was individually priced (not he $47 on the menu). The little bowl of butter is too small and they should give you two with the five rolls they delivered for the four of us. All in all, it is just another restaurant with most food and the wine overpriced but not bad for Front Street on Maui. Would not go again, however.
Always a wonderful meal and experience. Reserve rooftop seating at 5:30 and be treated to the bagpiper!
4 adults and a toddler. We enjoyed the little house salad, butternut squash soup, monchong, ono, Hawaiian swordfish each accompanied w/buerre blanc citrus Sauce, potatoes and veggies. Drinks before dinner: lime in the coconut and guava spritzer. Wine: Cristin Pinot noir. Tommy was our server and he was amazing!
Dined here on a Saturday night with friends on the rooftop. Wonderful to have the sunset "piped" in and the stories the piper shared were great. Food was magnificent - we shared the special plate for two with beef wellington (so tender and tasty - perfect), lobster, giant shrimp and huge scallops - it was divine. Service was terrific. Well worth the $$ for a nice evening out.
Date night in Maui ! Our favorite restaurant, but had to wait for over a half hour even with reservations. But after that great experience on the roof top under the moon and listening to the talented Phil West. All the food was awesome down to the last bite of dessert!
We visited on 12/01/2017 before our return flight home. Our reservations were at 5:30. We were seated on time at a nice table upstairs. Took a little while for our server to get to us, but once she did the rest of the night was fabulous. Our food was cooked perfectly, the evening went on without a hitch. Great food with a good price. Thanks,
We came there on a recommendation of a co-worker, food was great, prices moderate. Really enjoyed the rooftop dining, great view, enjoyed the bagpiper with history he gave on HI, we are from Minnesota. Overall great experience, but was NOT impressed with the server. She was not energetic and didn't seem positive about serving and taking our experience to the next level level. A little happiness and excitement from the servers makes a BIG difference. I know because I myself am a server. We were celebrating our parents anniversary, while vacationing. We had each just gotten a drink from the bar when we were called up to our table, she seemed disappointed we each had a drink already when she came to the table, even though we ordered additional drinks. She read off the specials but did not give pricing had to ask about that, then really didn't offer any recommendations; she seemed bothered when I requested the tab be split between parties. Great experience but service brought it down a notch, if I recommend it to others will mention our disappointment with service.
On our first trip to Maui, and may not be our last, we were so looking forward to our dinner at Fleetwood’s. However, our rooftop dining experience had much to be desired. Understanding that rooftop dining is dependent on weather, the shutters were available for such weather patterns but weren’t set up in preparation for high winds on Thanksgiving eve. No one asked if we were comfortable in the gale force winds and didn’t seem concerned for the comfort of your patrons. My guest lost a glass of Prosecco in the strong winds but there was no offer or consideration to replace for her. Even though the food was not exactly hot when we were served it was delicious. Our server suggested we took our desserts to-go which we did, but were again disappointed to arrive home to find our berry cobblers without any custard cream or any accompanying cream or ice cream, which I’m sure wasn’t how it was served if we’d have eaten at the table. It need not have been disappointing if someone had just taken the initiative to have drawn some of the shutters/blinds to make it comfortable for your patrons to prevent so many from leaving before even placing an order.
Thanks for your attention to these issues.
We went to Fleetwood's for their Thanksgiving dinner. The food was excellent and there was lots of it. We both had the turkey feast with all the trimmings, couldn't finish all on our plates and had to take dessert home which was also very good. I had the clams for the appetizer and my wife had the Caesar salad. Both were also very good.
I would recommend Fleetwoods to anyone who appreciates good food.
The 3 piece jazzy style trio was not too loud and were good musicians.
We will be back to try the regular menu another time.
