Awesome time and great food!!
Love this place.
Sat at the bar before our reservation wa ready. The bartenders were extremely friendly. Food was terrific, very southern. Had the whole flounder with apricot glaze. Yummy! Husband had the sheepshead and he loved it. Lucas H was an outstanding server!!
Very nice staff. Good food. Great view. Only thing is it was the loudest place we have been to in many years. Nobody's fault, but you had to almost shout at your own table to be heard. Glad we went there once, but unless you want to be in such a noise level, fair warning. If you want to have a good visit, at least on this night this isn't the place for that. It was really loud by any standard.
I would eat there for the grits alone. Delicious wedge salad. Desserts are the best...key lime or pecan pie!
Outstanding food with a beautiful view!
This is our “go to” restaurant when we have out of town guests. It’s by the water, good seafood with the best shrimp n grits in Charleston (and we’ve tried that dish in many of the Charleston restaurants). The service is always very good. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Great atmosphere & location. Fabulous seafood. Shrimp & Grits highly recommended.
Great spot on the water with great view of Charleston harbor
Once again enjoyed our visit here..good food, lovely surroundings and view. Service okay and prices reasonable..would definitely go back.
The food was fair. The service was excellent. The noise was terrible.
We really enjoyed our meal and the location.
The view over the harbour and Patriot Point was incredible. Our server was polite and knowledgeable and offered great menu . suggestions.
Everything was great. Fried shrimp and the she-crab soup were so good! Service was food too!
Great atmosphere and great service. Customer meeting was a success
Fun place to go, which we enjoy, even though the food is mediocre. Crab in she crab soup was scarce, and there was no evidence of crab roe (which they advertise, but which should be illegal to protect crabs.). Red rice too wet, not traditional.
Dining was a wonderful experience. Delicious, fresh seafood food. Excellent service. Recommend that you make a reservation. It is a popular place on the waterfront.
The Manager on saturday, April 14 was outstanding. I think his name was Lenny.
Amazing all around. Awesome ambience and food to fit ! A must visit for sure
So glad this place was recommended to us and we made reservations well in advance. Service was fabulous - our waitress was a doll. She recommended so many things that we ate 3 appetizers with only two of us. The stuffed hush puppies were to die for as was the calamari - the shrimp and grits were out of this world. No wonder they were voted best shrimp and grits in Charleston. The Low Country pasta was another real treat, my only wish was that there were more scallops - YUMMMMMM.
We have been going back to Fleet Landing on trips to Charleston for many years. The food and service are always great! Loved making the reservation with Open Table and being able to walk right in when there was a line out the door.
A lovely place to experience that southern hospitality we always hear about. The missus and I are from Australia and totally enjoyed everything the restaurant had to offer. Great service, food and environment. Thanks
Always great food and dining experience; one of our favorites
Delicious food , great service , and beautiful view!
We liked it a lot. Food was great, the service was great and the bill was fair. M I thought the atmosphere was fun.
Had shrimp and grits in three different restaurants while visiting Charleston, and there were the best! Chicken picatta was excellent. Cool decor and great back story.
Glad we had reservations! It was a rainy night, so had to wade through the puddles in the parking lot, but that's what you get when you are eating by the ocean. Cocktails were tasty. Forgot to get soup, but was so full after appetizer and entrée didn't miss the soup. Thanks for another excellent meal!
Dinner was delicious the service was great.
Plenty of variety on menu, nice views on the water, and excellent service for a very busy place.
Great food as always. Love the whole fried flounder- no one else does it quite the same.
This is one of our favorite restaurants when we are in Charleston. This place is always consistent for good food, good vibes and good views. This night was no different. Mike, our amazing server, recommended his favorite thing on the menu...the seafood pasta! It was delicious! The bartender (Gabriel, I think) was also amazing! He took the time to wipe out our wine glasses and offered me a taste of the wine before he poured me an entire glass. Great experience, yet again.
Great food, right in historic downtown Charleston on the water. Couldn't have asked for a better experience to top off a sunny Spring day in Charleston!
Everything was good and fresh; however, it just didn’t zing. Stuffed hush puppy was clever and the hush puppy part was good. The seafood was just flavorless. I really was expecting more. Grilled Mahi was a nice filet, grilled, but again flavorless. The fried okra was outstanding! Crispy and great flavor! Service by Lucas was outstanding. He deserves a r
The food was amazing as was the service. I went for the She Crab Soup and it did not disappoint. This was not just a meal but a dining experience
We had a great dinner with excellent service.
We had tried to eat here on a previous trip. OpenTable made it a reality this trip. We walked right in - were greeted - were seated with a great view of the harbor - and started a great dining experience. Alice headed up a team that worked in concert to guide us on a meal with award-winning she crab soup, shrimp dip, Charleston grits (which my toddler had been asking for since we got here), and an amazing Atlantic Salmon for myself. Our every need was quickly met. The entire experience was very child friendly and the view was awesome.
I was impressed. The meal was a little expensive but the value was there. We’ll be back on future trips to Charleston and send others.
Great service, awesome food...she-crab soup was outstanding
It wasn’t the best experience. We didn’t get the seats we requested when I made the reservation, and got some attitude about how they were saving it for people with reservations (even though I also made a reservation, and requested them in the reservation, so that was strange...). The food wasn’t great - felt like it was made in a rush. They also didn’t have shrimp, so that was disappointing. The service was great, though.
We enjoyed lunch very much. We sat outside and enjoyed the views. Our waiter was terrific and it was a fun time. Although they have a parking lot it is small and difficult to get in an out. There was a long line when we got there so reservations are a must. We had them and were seated as soon as we arrived.
Green beans were perfect; not too crunchy but not mushy
Had more flavorful red rice at another local restaurant the previous night.
Blackened triggerfish was over cooked dried out.
Blackened shrimp was good.
Biscuits were tender and fluffy.
Fleet Landing is one of my favorite lunch spots in Charelston.
