Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar
Absolutely amazing! Our waitress, Martha was wonderful! Fleet Landing is a must do when in Charleston! Delish!
Great dinner and meal
Best crispy fried flounder around!! Excellent wine, & knowledgeable waitress with attention to detail, yet not to pesky !!
Hostess at front desk was rude to family because we only informed her that we had 4 adults and needed high chair. We did not mention a baby in a car seat (who would be seated on floor). She was upset that we didn't mention the infant and talked loudly about it to her co-hostess. The server was excellent (Gabby) and the manager, exceedingly nice. The quality of the food was average: low country boil loaded with onions and sausage, very little shrimp and few potatoes. Crab cakes were average compared to other Charleston restaurants. The local "field peas (black) were really bland and lacked any taste. An unusual choice for a seasonal side dish. Nephew said the salmon was undercooked. However niece very much liked the chicken piccata and loved the homemade blue cheese dressing on the salad. So mixed reviews on the entrees. Have eaten at the restaurant two previous times and had better meals. Enjoyed the happy hours previously!
Visiting for a wedding.
Food was very mediocre
Seated promptly. Quickest service we ever had.
We were so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We knew it was an extremely popular tourist place, so expected it to be ok, but not great. We were so wrong. Everything about it was wonderful! Great seats outside, server was fantastic, and the food was amazing! Fresh, flavorful, decent prices. We can't wait to go back the next time we're in Charleston!
Excellent food - the She Crab Soup was delicious, the fish fresh and vegetables nicely done. Cocktails were delicious and original. We were seated indoors (avoiding the voracious gulls, beware!) and enjoyed a great view of the water. Service was prompt, courteous and efficient.
Good food, good service, great views!
We had a wonderful time. Maelee was very friendly, attentive and fun. The hus puppies were terrific. I enjoyed my crab cakes (They may have been a little on the smaller side, but they were very tasty) and my husband enjoyed his flounder. I would recommend this place to anyone and to also make sure that whomever goes gets a reservation in advance. I made ours a few weeks ago. There were many people whom felt like they could walk in with large groups and get a table.
Always good food; always good service
Great view. Great food. A bit noisy, but everyone was enjoying themselves!
We waited 35 minutes for our meals.
Always a great experience.
Amazing food and great service!
Great evening! Food was excellent and the service was the same. Peter checked on us often , but was not intrusive. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was an excellent overall experience. I would highly recommend Fleet Landing.
First time going to this place after bunch of times going to Charleston and I love it. Food is great and affordable. Staff was nice. Glad I made reservations.
Loved the food and great service! Had a reservation and got seated right away. Definitely coming back and highly recommend!
My husband had fried oysters and he said they had an awful taste and didn’t eat them at all! Hush puppies were hard as a rock but cute place!
Wonderful restaurant w/ great service! Food was also excellent.
Oyster platter had 5 very small oysters most the size of a nickel. Slaw was not cold.
It was ok. Nothing spectacular. The best part is that it is on the water. Our server was good. I doubt I come back. Too many restaurants in Charleston to say I will come back.
Fleet Landing is and always has been our "go-to" restaurant when entertaining out of town guests. Service and food are consistently great and our guests always happy. They concede that we natives really do know the best places to eat downtown. (We've only lived here a year.) Several of our friends have indicated that they will be returning soon and ask if we can return to the "Landing". We are very happy to honor their request. Tnx again for a truly great dining experience.
Mindy gave us exceptional service with a friendly smile. The she crab soup was smooth and creamy and the crab cake app was full of lump crab meat Everything was so fresh
Great dinner and fantastic view!
Arrived early and was told I have to wait 45 mins which was ok but asked to sit outside and was told “ we will see”. When time came to sit we where given a booth in the middle of the noise and you could tell someone else said no because the menus where on the table. I went back to tell her my family was not happy and the response was far from friendly. Things said “ you might get wet from the storm as would the high chair”. I said we will take our chances and very abruptly I was told you have to wait till 6:00. I said ok. Right after that and got my second drink a manager came to me, gave us a table we asked for. During dinner another manager asked if we where doing good and as we where leaving the original manager as if everything was ok. The food is very good there. It’s a shame that the hostess was not as good.
Absolutely wonderful food, atmosphere. Service was amazing from the bar staff to waitress and servers. This is a must stop spot in Charleston and will go there every time I am in town.
Overall, Fleet Landing was a nice waterfront location. The food that I ordered was very good but I was disappointed by the lack of selection. Being on the waterfront I expected more variety especially of local fare. We were there during Happy Hour but the pricing was only available at the bar not at your table. I felt this was very unfair.
Great service. Interesting food especially the fried oysters
Had a wonderful lunch out on the deck right on the water! Delicious dishes, fantastic service! What a nice way to spend an hour in the middle of a very hot day!
My wife and I wanted to eat at a restaurant we had not been to before to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed every bite very fresh seafood!
This restaurant is one of the few waterfront dining options when visiting Charleston's famed Historic District and the service and food quality do not disappoint either. If you're looking for a casual spot to dine for lunch or dinner and don't want to bother with parking, Fleet Landing is short walk from most areas of the peninsula.
I have been there several times and never disappointed. I got the flank steak salad and a lemon drop martini. The salad was crisp, steak cooked perfectly and the best lemon drop anywhere.
Our favorite is the Shrimp (grilled) with a side of Crab Cake! My daughter and I ate it on 2 different visits and it did not disappoint! My husband tried the daily special... local grilled Swordfish and cleaned his plate on this visit and their Shrimp & Grits on a previous visit! He would eat there every night if we close by (we were vacationing at Seabrook Island).
Really great place. Beautiful view, lovely waitstaff, yummy food! Highly recommend to anyone looking to have a nice dinner on the water.
All staff was friendly and smiling. Food and drink were all tasty, fresh and priced well. Great recommendation from our wait person for espresso (not on their menu) and dessert a few blocks away. A great evening out!
Service was fantastic. We had a reservation thru OpenTable which was great because there was a wait. Our dinners were delicious and fresh. I had crab cakes and my husband had like a seafood stew.
Very good food and nice experience!
Stopped for lunch. Glad we did. Great food and great view of the water. Would recommend.
