This is our second visit to Fleet Landing. We recommend it to everyone we know who is visiting Charleston. The atmosphere is energetic and the food is fantastic. The manager is very friendly and welcoming and our waitress was professional, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. There were four of us. We all ordered something different and we all cleaned our plates. So good! We will be back to Fleet Landing with every trip we make to Charleston.
It was my fiancé birthday weekend and everything was awesome. The whole evening was memorable.
Wonderful. Will be back. Best creme brûlée I’ve ever had.
Great meal while we watched a female dolphin and her calf playing near the pier. The fish taco are excellent.
The restaurant had a fire and cancelled and closed abruptly.
Food was good and server Peter was even better. The food was good quality - the host told is it would be 30 mins wait but it was only 15 minutes before we sat down.
Food was delicious! Our waiter was great. Attentive, but not intrusive! Great atmosphere.
We loved every second of being here. Not only was the food delicious and the service outstanding, the waiter (and other staff) were outstandingly patient with us and our 2-year-old son. Thank you!
As a first stop in Charleston, this restaurant did not disappoint! We sat on the heated patio and enjoyed a beautiful view, which was alone a worthwhile experience. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, and the seafood was excellent. We got a crab cake appetizer and it tasted so fresh! I had the “Charleston Cobb Salad” and was thoroughly satisfied with both the quality and the portion. My partner got the trigger fish sandwich with pasta salad and loved it as well. I would definitely recommend Fleet Landing to anyone visiting Charleston!
I loved this place more than I expected! Yes, it’s casual and noisy, but the food was fantastic. Traditional with a twist! Our party of 4 talked about the meal for days afterwards.
Service - exceptional
Food/Beverages - delicious
Location - perfect
Parking - challenging!
Inside temperature - chilly; borderline downright cold!!!
Long wait for food and for the bill
Great food, great service, great history in the building!!!
Food was amazing! Everything we ordered was so good! Great atmosphere and prices were good, what you would expect to pay for seafood.
Great view, great Food.
Megan is a fantastic wsitress
Went to this restaurant for my Stepmom’s birthday. The food was delicious, our waiter was on top of it and was knowledgeable in the different fish options.
Hands down the best shrimp and grits we had in our trip to Charleston. We had grits at 3-4 other, very high rated restaurants, and Fleet has the best. Also the stuff hush puppies were pretty darn tasty too!
Fabulous food! Make a reservation if you can as it fills up quickly. Also for brunch they need to make lots more crab quiche- they ran out in 20 minutes when we were there.
Great experience and fantastic food!
We decided to celebrate our daughters Navy “A” School graduation at Fleet Landing upon the recommendation of one of her Chiefs. It was very good. The ambiance was on point, and we sat on the heated deck overlooking the water. We were able to have conversations without having to yell or strain to hear one another. The food & service was also very good. The one down side is parking. They have a very small private parking lot, however; there is a paid public parking right next to the restaurant.
The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal! The environment was great too.
The view from Fleets Landing over the harbor is one of the best from the city. The service was very good; the food is fine.
Great place to celebrate life in Charleston! On the harbor, exquisite food, just awesome!!!
Dinner with friends. Excellent cocktails at the bar. The entrees were amazing. Dietary issues were well handled. Service was great from the moment we arrived until we left. This was our best dinner while visiting Charleston.
The food was average, the service was great, the view is fine if seated outside. Definitely a tourist destination with all the fried seafood and usual southern items.
Excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Fresh and friendly
Had a wonderful time. The food was excellent. It was a bit noisy but not unable to carry on a conversation with others at the table. I would highly recommend reservations as it was crowded on a Monday night in March. We will definitely eat there again.
My boyfriend and I loved this place! It had great service, a beautiful view, and amazing food! We loved the portion size of the meal and the amazing service we received from staff. We made reservations and we were able to walk right in and be seated. We had heard such great things about this place, so glad we were able to come!
A friend recommended your restaurant. I booked a reservation before we arrived in Charleston. It was for Monday March 5 lunch. It was not crowded and a reservation was completely unnecessary. Waiter was distracted. He didn't bring the fried green tomatoes and didn't seem to notice. When we asked him about it, he said he was human. Food was fair at best. Waiter never came to see if we wanted more ice tea. We sat and waited to receive our bill so we could leave and when he finally brought it, it was the wrong bill. We exchanged with the table next to us but never saw the waiter again. Very negative experience. Very very disappointing.
A window table at sunset, great friends, very good food with a southern flair, and an excellent waiter all made for a great evening. Casual, yet special – not stuffy. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good dinner in Charleston!
We went hear because it showed that they had good reviews, but I would have to say it was just average. My oyster platter was pretty good small oysters but tasty a ton of French fries so kinda overpriced when the majority of the meal was fries. My boyfriend had the hamburger because he does not eat seafood and said it was very bland. So overall for the wait time, ambiance and the price I would not really recommend or probably choose to go back unless invited. Sorry just my opinion.
Everything was awesome. It was my boyfriend's first time, and he was really pleased. Service and food was amazing!
This was my first visit to Fleet Landing. My son had recommended it and we made reservations ahead of time. We were seated at exactly the time of our reservation and our waiter was AWESOME and SO MUCH FUN!!!! The food was AMAZING from the appetizers to the dessert!! It was and INCREDIBLE meal and I can not wait to come back!!!!!! AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!!!!
Food was amazing, service was amazing, we had the best waiter I've ever had.
Our experience at Fleet Landing was absolutely amazing. Both mine and my boyfriend’s entrees were delicious and as well as our dessert. All were recommended by our server who was also top notch. I have visited Charleston on multiple occasions and this place has now topped my list of favorite places to eat. You will not be disappointed!
Amazing She Crab Soup! We sat outside on the side deck which was perfect in the afternoon.
We ate lunch and it was excellent. First time we have saved room for dessert. So glad we did because it was wonderful. All of us ordered the key lime pie and we all agreed it may be the best key lime pie we have ever had. Love that the restaurant sits out over the water. Service is always the best. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.
Fleet Landing has historical character and provides a very good local seafood menu. Their Shrimp and Grits is one of the best in the area.
Food was delicious but would liked to see more selections that are not seafood.
