Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar Ratings and Reviews
My Husband was on a mission to find a low country boil, and he found one here! We ate late after a tour, and there were still people dining. The property is a bright, modern open layout right on the water. It is fun and casual. I am a vegetarian and had the pasta/vegetables/pesto. It was really good. I would recommend.
Fleet Landing was an energetic fun restaurant that was very popular on the Saturday evening we were there. Having a reservation was great since there was a fairly long wait and they seated us a perfect front window table. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Roseanna our server was fantastic and really made for a fun evening. Food was very good. This is not gourmet dining but since we had done a lot of gourmet restaurants in Charleston it was a nice change and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Restaurant difficult to find at night as there is no lighting for the entrance. You cannot see the water at night. I suggest going for lunch to enjoy the view.
Lucas served us promptly. He was congenial and personable. Our food was good and portions generous.
I think the food is over rated... It was already a cold that evening (Nov 14th) and they had the side door open by the booth we were sitting in. I asked one of the servers walking by if it was possible to close that door because I was cold... he stated "sorry, we have people out there eating " ... My daughter loved it and it was her birthday dinner.. so I guess that's all that really matters!
My husband and I were visiting from Cincinnati and enjoyed the service as well as the food very much. Blackened triggerfish with pimento cheese grits were wonderful. Only wish had more red wines by the glass. My husband was told he would have to purchase the entire bottle so he opted for another spirit instead. Overall great restaurant!
I LOVED THIS PLACE! My husband and I came to Charleston for our anniversary and we're looking for options that were affordable but still nice. The food here was awesome! I got the triggerfish with pimento grits and asparagus and my husband got the rib eye. Both were delicious. The view was very pretty and our waitress was awesome and very attentive. We did make a reservation through OpenTable and I strongly recommend making a reservation.
Fleet Landing is our go to place when we visit Charleston. Some of the best seafood around and prepared in such creative ways. Our server Lucas was outstanding. He even brought us 2 glasses of champagne since we were celebrating our anniversary. Their Shrimp Pot Pie is served on Thursdays at lunch. It is absolutely wonderful.
I took my Mother last year for Mother's Day and the food was very good but the service was just so-so. This past visit we had 5 star service and I only wish I had written down our server's name. We were there on Monday afternoon November 6th and sat in a booth towards outside dining (across from the bar). Food was good and prices were extremely reasonable, especially for Charleston. I am in the restaurant business and good service can make or break any dining experience. My Mom had the flounder platter and I had a Caesar salad with fried green tomato and crab appetizer. If the manager reads this, I want to say thank you to the service staff at Fleet Landing!
My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and it was fantastic! They first brought us out 2 glasses of champagne on the house to celebrate. Our server was Rozanna and she may be one of the best servers I have ever had. She was honest and funny. We started with the steak calamari and omg so tender and the dipping sauces were awesome. For dinner we got the shrimp and grits and the blackened trigger fish. Both were fantastic. If you get a chance to go here I highly recommend it and ask for Roxanne. She won’t disappoint!
Four of us went to Fleet Landing for dinner - first time for all of us. We really enjoyed sitting outside. We had fried green tomatoes with crab which were good --- not outstanding, but good. We all really enjoyed our meals (very diverse menu) and the service was exceptional. I would definitely go back to try the she-crab soup as we met someone later who told us it is outstanding there. A good reason to return! Would highly recommend this place.
The location is wonderful. The view of the water all around fabulous. The wait staff casual but also professional and very accommodating. Mark, the manager, was excellent and came and chatted with us for several minutes. I left my hat by mistake and was able to return the next day to collect it. Sat at the bar the next day for 5 minutes and asked for an ice tea and bartender was gracious enough not to charge me for it as I was getting it to re-hydrate before heading back out. Very thoughtful.
The "industrial feel" very appropriate for what this restaurant originally designed and used. Excellent food would recommend to those traveling to area.
