Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar
We always make an effort to eat at Fleet's Landing when we are visiting Charleston!!!!!!!
We enjoyed the deck and view but felt our experience from service to food was of lesser value than what we paid. We came here for our anniversary and the staff was very welcoming and said "Happy Anniversary" to us, which was very nice. Our server was very attentive when she noticed that my husband didn't take but a few bites of his soup. When he mentioned he didn't like it she took it off our bill which was very nice and not something we expected. We both had that nights special, Mahi mahi and swordfish which were okay. My green beans were excellent, my husbands Cole slaw was, different. Not what I was expecting when the server explained it as a mayo/vinegar mixed slaw. We both selected French fries for our second side and weren't very impressed when they came out as regular shoe string fries. He had two beers, I had two glasses of wine and our bill was just over $100. We felt our meal didn't measure up to that. The deck was great and I'm sure they have lots of good menu items. I would recommend for the experience and would be willing to try again.
Food was awesome except for the hush puppies. They made me some unstuffed because of my selfish allergy and they were just crispy sweet dough balls. Otherwise it was awesome.
The staff was amazing, the view was great and the food was even better. We will be back for sure.
Great food, she soup was excellent as was the shrimp and grits and seafood pasta. We arrived early and sat at the bar while waiting for our table. Ordered an appetizer because we were hungry. It arrived 2 minutes later! Bar tender was excellent. As was the waiter for our table. They seated us early an outside as requested. Perfect weather, food and service
The food was amazing. You have to try the hush puppies as an appetizer. I got the tuna and my husband got the trigger fish- both dishes were incredible! Another must have is the pimento cheese grits!
Wonderful! Got there 20 minutes early on our reservation and our table was ready. Was greeted with “Happy Anniversary!” from hostess. Waiter greeted also with Happy Anniversary and two Complementary glasses of Sparkling white wine. Used our phone to take perfect - his signature- photos of us. Food was super great. Would recommend the stuff Hushpuppies to start with. Shrimp and grits - best EVER. Finish with pecan pie. Views are perfect. Could not ask for a better experience!
Our food and drinks were delicious, and our waiter Ross was super helpful in recommending other local places. The view is not to be beat.
Didnt get a lot of food. Wiater was great. Seating was great. Front receptionist was good.
My opinion is over priced and overrated.
Just my opinion.
From the service to the view to the food, Fleet Landing was exceptional.
Fantastic experience! Great view of the harbor, waiter was incredibly well-educated on the menu, food came out fast and it was absolutely delicious! Their meals pleased everyone in our party and we will definitely be coming back! Highly reccomend for a Charleston seafood experience, this place knows how to make some anazing shrimp and grits!!
The service was way better than the “Bloody Mary” I paid $10 for. That said, our server was wonderful. He was attentive but never made us feel rushed. We were able to sit outside, which is what I’d recommend. Part of the experience there for me was eating outside, it just made everything better.
Food was good, all be it pricey.
Do yourself a favor, make reservations. You will wait if you don’t, and wait a while.
Fantastic food and people. Loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the breeze. The service is outstanding.
Excellent food and great service. Would definitely go back.
Loved the food. Could do with a little more history on the restaurants background.
We love this place. The food and atmosphere are great.
We came back this year since we enjoyed our visit in 2018. Good food, great service and lots of bird watching!
Great anniversary dinner. First time here, but it won't be our last! Great service as well!
Out waiter was awesome.
Food and mojitos were great!
But we missed the biscuits!
Great view over the water. Very good oysters and good shrimp and grits. I recommend this place for the quintessential Charleston experience
Waitress highly recommended shrimp and grits. Two of our party ordered it. What came was two bowls of overlooked shrimp covered in brown gravy. Not good. Great view but rushed atmosphere and average food. Not what it used to be.
We sat outside and the view was excellent, our server was very familiar with the menu and gave excellent suggestions, and the food was terrific. I would definitely recommend eating here to anyone visiting Charleston.
Great food, great service 👍🏼
Always love fleetlanding! Every time family cames to visit I take them here and no one is ever disappointed.
Excellent from beginning to end, from the delicious cocktails to hush puppies appetizer to the main entrees. Add to that an amazing waterfront location and great weather, and you have all the ingredients for a perfect evening
I saw Fleet Landing on the Food Network Channel. The food looked so good, I promised myself the next time I was in Charleston, I would go. I was not disappointed. The staff, the service and the food... all outstanding! I definitely plan to go back to Fleet Landing the next time I am in Charleston, and have recommended others to go as well.
Beautiful view. Great she crab soup. Recommend sitting outside
Great experience at Fleet Landing! Staff , service and food were excellent. We arrived early for our reservation and the host explained that he would try to seat us early (which he did) and directed us to the bar while we waited. I stood at the bar for maybe 5 seconds and I was greeted and given a drink menu, while looking at the menu the second bar tender approached to be sure we were taken care of. And then he told us where he had available bar seats at. Once we sat down we were greeted quickly by our waiter who was also wonderful. THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT. Our table had the shrimp and grits appetizer, fried oyster salad, trigger fish, she crab soup, and several great drinks from the bar. All the food was excellent!!! Fleet Landing does it right!
Loved the outdoor dining. Vegetation options were somewhat limited but yummy. Great service!
Everything is good except the she crab soup, it tasted like evaporated milk.
Hot seated right away with reservation. There was an hour wait without a reservation. Servers were obviously tired. Food came quick. Fresh caught fish was great but expensive.
Exactly food and service. Try the green tomatoes stack and crab cakes! Also can’t go wrong with pimiento cheese grits! I’ll definitely be back again
Was just ok for us. Sat on the patio and birds came to the actual table trying to get our food. Food was good but not over the top like the reviews make it seem.
The overall experience was great! My husband and I were taking his mom out for Mother’s Day ! Our food was delicious and nicely presented! The cocktails were very unique! Our Server, Peter, was OUTSTANDING! Only down side was the noise level! It was deafening and we could not hold a conversation over the noise
We ate outside on the deck on a beautiful night. It was quieter than the loud noise levels inside. Our wait staff was Alex and she was helpful with making our food decisions and helped us with other Charleston tourism also...delightful . Had my first Shrimp and grits and it was delish.
We made reservations for one o’clock on a Friday. We were able to go directly to our table at one. Our food was fantastic and Sam our server was attentive despite being very busy. The general ambience was energetic while being relaxed. Sitting next to the water watching the boats go by was the cherry on top. Highly recommend reservations, as those who had none had a long wait due to the volume of patrons.
I first came to Fleet Landing on vacation as a teenager about 10 years ago, I ordered their Fried Green Tomato BLT then and ordered it again this time! It's still hands down the best sandwich I've ever had and I worked in the restauarant industry for 4 years. FANTASTIC restaurant, service was wonderful, the view of the water is amazing. Do NOT miss out! Make a reservation and go early.
One of our favorite places in Charleston! Great spot, food and people!
My friend and I were running a bit behind. I called ahead to inform the host of this and they were very helpful when we arrived. We sat at bar for 15 min and got seated outside with a nice breeze.
'Zach our Waiter was on point with the specials and knowledge of the menu. Perfect recomendations from him.
The appetizers were flavorful and fresh. seafood throughout the whole meal. Crab Bruschetta, Saute'ed shrimp. I had the Fried Glazed Flounder, butter beans, garlic Mashed Potatoes. My friend had the Seafood Pasta that just sent him over the moon with the fresh flavors.
Of course Key Lime Pie for Dessert.
What a great setting and service Will make this the favorite again.
