Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar

Sat on the heated deck and was very comfortable even though it was below 50. Oysters on the half shell were delicious and briny, the calamari steaks we good, but not as good as in the past and the portion seems to have shrunk. My son’s Gumbo was awesome and my blackened trigger fish sandwich was loaded with fish that it was falling out and the avocado aioli was the perfect compliment. My daughter’s spinach salad with fried oyster was huge and had more oyster than expected. The candied nuts, portobellos and cheese and light dressing were the perfect compliment.

You have to try the seafoood hush puppies. They are delicious. My husband has the fried shrimp and added the fried flounder with fries and slaw. He said the seafood was delicious along with the slaw. I had shrimp and grits along with the collard greens. All were delicious. Will definitely go bad with we visit Charleston.

The food was amazing ! It’s one of our favorite restaurants! We always get the crispy flounder ! Serenity was our server and she was very professional and friendly !

The crab cake sandwich was absolutely fantastic and our server was equally as good.
I would certainly recommend Fleet Landing to any and all. At peak times, you would do well to make a reservations.

The most unassuming restaurant was our favorite in Charleston! The food was fresh and tasty! The crab cake was cooked perfectly and not too heavy, the gumbo was fresh with the right amount of flavor. The fried seafood’s breading was light and flavorful. We loved it! The waiter was delightful- always made sure we had what we needed. We will definitely go back!

We went for New Year’s Day brunch...they weren’t doing brunch, is my only complaint. The food was good and we enjoyed the view.

Awesome seafood water front dining. Hostesses are very friendly and personable. Our waitress was a bit snippy though.

Had the blue plate special Thursday shrimp pot pie -- good value and excellent meal.

The crab cake sandwich was good but the amount of crab was very disappointing. Next time I would have the fried shrimp.

We had been here years ago and had a good experience but it’s went terribly downhill. I ordered the blackened grouper special and my wife had the snapper special. Both inedible, fish was uncooked. We also had the hush puppies appetizer which was 3 big hush puppies stuffed with small tasteless shrimp and overcooked lobster. Worst meal I’ve ever had in downtown Charleston. I will be very surprised if this restaurant is around for much longer.

On 12/28 our reservation was changed from 12/29 to 12/28, effectively cancelling it without any reason or notification from the restaurant. I called and left a message but no return call back. Very disappointed that a 3 week reservation was disgarded, I was hoping it was human error, but the lack of follow-up indicates it was intentional. For what was going to be a really special afternoon, it lost a little of it's magic by someone deciding we were worthy of being dismissed.

It was awesome. Not my first time being here of course! I have been coming here for about 5 or 6 years now so, it’s always a great experience!!

This restaurant has continued to go downhill over the last several years.
The food and presentation was as if it were a fast food joint.
The fries were not hot.
I showed our server heavy sediment in the bottom of my wine glass and she just shrugged without offering to correct.
I will not visit this establishment again.

Food is fantastic! Always make a point to eat here when in Charleston. Best Calamari ever. Never a bad meal. Highly recommend.

We went for brunch. Not only was the food delicious, but the portions were huge. Our server was so friendly and the water view was fantastic.

So disappointed with food quality. No flavor with both meals. Flounder tasted like cardboard. French fries overdone. Artichoke-spinach appetizer zero flavor. Hamburger, no seasoning, again zero flavor. We ate there 3 years ago and everything was perfect. This time, food was awful. Will not be returning. Was so looking forward to our lunch there. Server was great!
