Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar
1 2nd timer and 3 1st timers at table. Everyone enjoyed very mich enjoyed our meals. Our waitress, April, was fantastic. Thank you for a great Sunday morning for some out of towners.
Someone recommended this restaurant to us for the views. The area and views are beautiful but the food was mediocre. I have a gluten allergy and was somewhat limited what I could order. I got the chef’s fish special- it was ok. The cucumber tomoto salad was good. We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer and it wasn’t very good. It wasn’t quite what we expected but it didn’t really have any flavor. There were lots of people waiting on tables but we made a reservation. Overall I would say this is a tourist trap- I think you could find another restaurant with good views and way better food for the money.
Best crab cake I have ever eaten.
Very friendly and good enough to try again. Not my favorite but certainly worth another visit. Maybe for dinner next time. We went for lunch.
This is our first visit to Charleston and we've eaten lunch here twice already!!! Right on the water in historic old Navy dock - outdoor patio seating on the water!! Stuffed hushpuppies, Fried Oyster on delicious grits app, Shrimp and Grits..... Everything is so tasty!!
Great restaurant, service was wonderful. I mainly came for the oysters and they did not disappoint! I do however think the main courses were not worth the price. I do still plan on going back to try more items so I’m unbiased!
We liked the place, service and food. The only unfortunate situation was that my husband steak was over cooked and salty. (My husband eats very salty so for him to complain about it, it was kind of surprising) however our waiter and the manger took care and came back with a perfect steak. Will definitely come back again in our next vacations. Key lime pie was yummy!
Highly recommend the she crab soup! Definitely need to make a reservation in advance.
As always the first at Fleet Landing is fabulous. I would've liked to have seen our server a little more often for refills and the outside was a little cold. Could've turned on the heaters to make it more comfortable. But this is one of our favorite places. This visit was a little out of character for their normal service. But a great place to eat in Charleston!
Great food and service
The waitress was not friendly, but other than that it was good.
The restaurant was full of people on a Monday afternoon, that’s when you know the food is good. We had a great server, very friendly and in top of things whilst handling five other tables. my friend and I sat outside in November, beautiful view saw porpoises. The food was great, shrimp and grits were amazing.
Awesome Food, Awesome View, Awesome Atmosphere! Get the Hushpuppies! Limited parking is available.
We've eaten at Fleet Landing several times and it has always been fabulous.
Last night 4 out of the 5 of us had the She Crab Soup and it was barely warm. The garlic mashed potatoes were not even warm. We dared not let our waiter know, because he was so nice.
The scallops and collards were great.
Our server was excellent and suggested great items for us.
Stopped in while on vacation from Charlotte, NC. An absolutely wonderful place to eat, with amazing food, excellent staff, and a great view. Will definitely be coming back again and again each time we travel to Charleston!
Great seafood. Awesome views. Make reservations as it’s very busy on a typical Saturday.
Great food! We eat at Fleet Landing every time we come to Charleston. Love the view and staff is exceptional.
Food was incredible!! He She Crab sounds delicious! Can’t wait to go back❤️
It was wonderful. I
Wonderful meal! Service from Gabby was stellar! We will definitely be back and we will definitely bring other guests with us!
Food was cold each time it came out big the kitchen. Very disappointed with this place.
I have lived in Charleston for 4 years and had never tried Fleet Landing. I made our reservation for a Saturday and the service was great from the moment we walked in. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. I ordered the vegetable pasta with salmon and it was so delicious! It was so good I'd probably end up getting it everytime! The daily special was Mahi mahi and it was great as well. I was disappointed that there was a giant cruise ship blocking the view for us, but I'll just have to check ahead next time so we can really enjoy the view of the harbor they offer.
fun spot! great for people to bring out of town friends.
Food was delicious as was cocktail. Fish was fresh, desserts were yummy!
We enjoyed the restaurant. The food was very good
Our server, Steven, was very accommodating by providing stellar recommendations to my guest and engaging with us at the table during our meal. Steven exemplifies the service and hospitality expected when dining in Charleston.
A great casual spot on the water. Martha was an amazing server who took good care of us. Highly recommended.
Great! Love the drinks and a dolphin show!
Unfortunately, our experience at Fleet Landing was extremely disappointing. To start, we were looking for a dinner on the water. When we arrived and chose to sit outside, the entire area had been blocked off with a semi-transparent covering. The weather was cool, but not crazy cold, and we wound up on a long strip of restaurant with room enough for the waiter and the table. There was no view to speak of, other than looking in at the diners that were inside. That being said, although we were on the outskirts, our waiter was attentive.
The food was another disappointment. It was clear that everything had been reheated. Nothing was fresh. We ordered the Hush Puppies to start. We couldn't have gotten french fries faster at a McDonalds compared to how fast our dish came out. Clearly these were not freshly fried. They were chewy and the filling was warm, not hot.
The overall experience was a real let-down, or it would be forgettable. We had so many other choices and regret choosing Fleet Landing.
Great spot. The food and drinks were very good. Excellent server
We had a 2:30pm reservation, still had to wait about ten minutes before we were seated. Not too bad. We were seated outside, nice view. Our server did not come by very often to keep our drinks refilled. We ordered the seafood hush puppies. Always delicious, but they were delivered lukewarm, almost cold. The main courses came out ok. I had the whole fried flounder, my favorite dish there.
We sat outside for lunch. The view was amazing of the Charleston Harbor. Food was average, service was good.
This is the first place we go when we’re in Charleston. It has become a tradition for us!
Consistently good. Weather permitting go for outdoor seating to enjoy waterfront vistas
The apricot flouder was delish along with the fried green tomatoes. Our waiter was friendly and informed. Great place to eat on the water!
Great view. Sit outside for the view and more quiet than inside.
Outstanding. Thanks for being on open table. We came by cruise ship. Wonderful to have reservations ahead of time. Located right next to ship. Quaint building so nautically decorated. Beautiful views. Exceptional food. Loved the whole fried founder. Great friendly service from reception to waitress.
The service was excellent with very attentive server. Disappointed no fried oysters. The food was good but not memorable, as I type this I needed to ask the wife what we had. The atmosphere is very laid back with a nice outdoor view. Good Charleston experience
