Even if Flavor of India wasn't in our neighborhood, it is well worth the drive - and we would still always come. We LOVE going there! The food is so delicious, the wait staff so accommodating, and it is just such a comfortable place to catch up with friends. A real winner, all around!

One of the most authentic Indian restaurants in California. I live in Northern California, always visit this restaurant when I am in the LA area.

We love Flavor of India and go as often as possible and introduce it to our friends. Excellent food, superlative service, and good for conversation - not unbearably loud, like lots of places are!

All three of us were disappointed in the food we had that night. We had heard that this was a wonderful Indian restaurant so we tried dining there but none of the six items we tried were really good. The samosas were very ordinary and not as good as many we've had in LA. The curried vegetables and the Chicken Tikka Masala both seemed drowned in tomato sauce to the point where the curry and other spices could barely be tasted. For dessert we had gulab jamun which outside of naan and rice was the best dish.

This was our first time at the Flavor of India. We had been to its predecessor, The Great India Cafe, many times. The food at The Great India was----great.

The food now is even better. Toward the end of The Great India, when we went there on Saturday nights, there were very few other dine in patrons. Last night, the crowd was much larger.

The decor has been modernized by the new ownership.

Overall, it was an excellent experience, we definitely will go back and our heartiest recommendation of the Flavor of India to others.

I lived in London for a long time and got used to having Indian food all the time. Since I moved back to Los Angeles I have been looking for a restaurant that matches up to the quality of Indian food in London and I think I just found it.

In short it is great food.

The staff could not have been more accommodating and gracious. The table we requested was awaiting us, and the staff also comped us on a couple of appetizers and a dessert (I'm assuming because they just opened earlier in the week!). The food was delicious and varied - and the portions are generous, and the four in our party will definitely return!

Being a Brit with a love of Indian food I've been searching high and low for the best Indian curry in LA that matches up to ones in the UK.

Until now all have failed to meet the match, that was until I had one here. Great food! Great staff and service. My new curry home.

As first-timers here we arrived for a very early dinner on Friday and were the first customers. We were greeted immediately and seated. The food is superb. Each dish with its own distinct flavor was a delight. I will return again and again

great food. worn out decor. I didn't mind the Indian MTV that night but I might at other times. Veggie-balls with sauce were the best. Salmon in curry sauce didn't work together -- they should offer a mild white fish with this dish.

The food and service are very good. The food perhaps being the best of the two. That said my wife and I have made this our regular "go-to" place for excellent Indian cuisine. Especially love all of the wonderful vegetarian options.

Absolutely THE WORST!!!

The staff is not responsive -- I even had to ask if they spoke English!

There no fans or air conditioning -- this in the sweltering heat of August in the Valley!

Then to top it off, the food was so awful that I had to follow Woody Allen's advice (from "Love and Death") and immediately commence "active fleeing"!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkk!

We enjoyed the Indian food very much, and our first visit to their Studio City location
while we had only been to the Woodland Hills location before. We also learned some of their fabulous cooking is done by their talented Grandmother in the kitchen! The food was delicious!
