The oysters on the half shell had quite a few broken shell fragments which detracted from the oysters themselves. I had the paella which was reasonably nice but not really a paella as it was tomato based. My wife had a mixed seafood grill with the fish overdone. Service was attentive but we had to politely request that the front door be closed as it was quite chilly in the evening - hence my rating for the ambience.

We had a wedding to attend in Carmel and several of our family members decided on Flaherty to stop by for a casual meal before heading back to the Bay Area. Three of us arrived when they first opened because we hadn't had breakfast. Then a group of 8 and a group of 4 at 12:30. Food came out in good order and no one had to wait for their dishes. Thank you.

We enjoyed our meal. Large portion sizes and lots of gluten free options. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We love Flaherty’s for seafood meals. This birthday celebration included cioppino with generous and varied seafood, and Italian prawns and pasta in marinara sauce. Great meal!
