Flagler Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
We enjoyed Christmas Eve brunch at the Flagler Steakhouse. All was very nice. There was a pre fixed menu and we all enjoyed the food. The size of the chocolate cake was a bit outrageous and would have been nice if the table was sharing it - since everyone’s brunch came with desert it was too large.
The brunch price was high as one would expect at the Breakers and we were fine with that. It is too bad they charged so much for tea, coffee and the one scrambled egg we asked for our 10 month old. Tea and coffee should have been included in the price. Otherwise it was a very nice experience.
When we all got in the car. Every person said, that was an amazing meal. Everything was timed perfectly, cooked to perfection, and could have not had any better of a meal at Holiday time. Even the ambiance was fun with our neighbor table having a birthday party. They definitely raise the bar for all other restaurants in the area. And that is from 5 people who are all very picky, and used to fine dining in NYC. Congratulations, I️t is hard to impress us. Would come back again and again.
This is a restaurant that is part of The Breakers Hotel, although it is across the street. As a result, you will pay more than the meal, service or atmosphere warrant. The food was good, but not great enough for a piece of sea bass to be worth $49.00. For these prices I would expect the service to be exceptional. It was not. It was adequate at best. The young woman that served us could not find the wine on the menu, even though I specified the bin number. We finally had to point it out to her. She would occasionally disappear for 20 minutes at a time. It is nice enough inside, but again, not exceptional. They have a checkered red and white valence over the windows that gives the place a pizza parlor feel. I really didn't care for the background music they played which was swing from the 40's and jazz. I prefer something more romantic. Normally a bottle of wine is priced at about twice the retail cost. It was three times the retail price there.
The saving grace for the evening was a piece of key lime pie, which was very good ($15.50) and French pressed coffee which was great ($7.50).
I would recommend the place if the prices were cut by about a third. I have been to several very nice restaurants that were worth the price. Unfortunately, this one simply does not measure up.
Incredible meal and service. Kristy took great care of us and had impressive attention to detail. We had the stuffed shrimp and rib-eye and they were both exceptional - haven’t had meals like this anywhere else. The outside seating is wonderful - perfect temperature control and beautiful scenery. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
The overall experience was perfect! We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff doted on us and even gave us a complimentary glass of champagne. We had soup, salad, the tomahawk steak PLUS the best key lime pie we’ve ever had!! Highly recommend it and plan on going back when back in the Palm Beach area!
We had an outstanding experience. This was a business dinner and our staff was friendly, energetic, attentive, and engaged in our happy and laid back back and forth banter. The food was exceptional and perfectly cooked. The wine list was thoughtfully created and included fantastic options from around the world. The Italian list was not as expansive as other regions but offer tremendous choices and value. In fact the price to value in the wine selections were better than the price to value in the food prices. This being said, everything from appetizers to main course, sides and desserts exceeded all expectations.
The ambiance was fabulous and was not like typical stakehouses that are dark and stuffy. This place takes you back in time to a beautiful country club setting that is open and colorful.
This is a must see/eat place in your West Palm adventure.
We were celebrating a 50th birthday with a party of six. I made prior arrangements for a cake for dessert and champagne to be served when we arrived. The service was excellent as was the assistance in preparing for the dinner. However, the champagne was not chilled and I ordered red velvet cake which was decorated with sprinkles. I believe sprinkles on an adult cake were inappropriate and had absolutely no taste. I was disappointed that more attention was not paid to serving the wine at the proper temperature.
We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary! Our waiter was wonderful and so attentive. We began with a dozen oysters, some of the tastiest we have had. then for dinner we ordered the sea bass and the 7oz steak. All was seasoned to perfection. For dessert, our waiter had it customized with white chocolate plaque.
If you desire a special treat reward yourself at this divine restaurant. The staff is attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend sitting out on the balcony. Enjoy the spectacular view, the tasty cocktails and savory steak dishes. I wish I saved some room for dessert. I heard the key lime pie was exceptional!
We've been to the steak house two or three other times and everything was perfect. We went for Thanksgiving. The dining room was NY winter cold; I unfortunately didn't have a coat with me. My wife asked for a baked potato, which came out old and dry, my Parmigian Fries were also old, dry and pretty tasteless. I ordered Oysters at $4.75 each, they were the size of a quarter, very disappointing. Finally, I ordered a Blackened Ribeye, what I received was a regular ribeye. The waiter then took the steak to the kitchen and blackened it. What I received was a ribeye covered in the blackened rub. The steak was salty and laden with spice rub, edible but not what would expect from the Flagler Steakhouse. I would be hesitant to recommend to a friend.
For $345 I expect a meal approaching a 5 rating, not a 3 rating. I can't believe the low level of quality control in the kitchen.

Excellent dining experience: Good service! Waiter was very attentive. We had the oysters which were very clean and had a fantastic fresh taste. I had the Veal Milanese and it was very light and cooked to perfection. My wife had the bone-in filet and was made just the way she liked it. Overall, great experience. Crowd was somewhat stodgy but we didn’t care. Food, ambiance and service were great.
Very nice restaurant located on the property of the Breakers in Palm Beach. Staff was very helpful in moving us, after a patron with heavy perfume sat next to us. The waiter we finally had was very nice, and extremely knowledgeable in assisting with ordering steak. The prices at this resort are very high, so it's very tough to equate a value proposition to a meal like this. Definitely a special occasion (at least for us). Beware, since it's on the golf course, a few mosquitos might be in the air.
From the moment we entered the dining room, we felt pampered and special. Our servers , Amy and Angel, greeted us with two complimentary glasses of Champagne to toast our anniversary.
They continued to take care of our every need, including suggestions for our food selections.
Our bone-in filet was melt-in-your mouth perfection! To end our experience, they personalized a complimentary piece of the Breakers specialty key lime pie! A perfect ending to a memorable evening!
Did not realize the location was not at the Breakers Hotel. Valet ..... then crowded shuttle to restaurant . Arrived 8pm.....food served 9pm.
Disappointing meal. Requested medium - well preparation.....food arrived very rare......twice! Server and manager agreed with me. Balance of meal remained on my plate as steak was taken away.
Staff was lovely.
What an amazing night! Aleks, the manager, was very attentive and made sure our experience was 5 star. Our server, Ashley, was a doll and attended to every detail. The bartender, Christine, mixed what my husband called the best manhattan he'd ever had. She even put all of the ingredients for his drink on the bar so I could take a picture and buy them for our home. I had the Sun Kissed Martini which was one of the tastiest drinks I've ever had. The food was outstanding and we can't wait to go back. Whether you live in the area or are visiting you really need to experience this place. Aleks really knows how to take care of his customers. Thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful night! We'll see you again!!
