About Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck
We are now Open on Sundays! Come join us at Five Sixty atop Reunion Tower. The skyline’s distinguishing 560-foot landmark with the distinctive glowing ball houses legendary chef Wolfgang Puck’s first fine dining restaurant in the city. Upon ascending 50 stories, diners depart from the elevator at the center of the restaurant. From the moment guests enter, they are greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows that line the restaurant, offering 360-degree views of Dallas as the room revolves. The cuisine draws inspiration from Puck’s renowned signature fine dining restaurants including Spago, Chinois and CUT. Featuring modern fusion of Asian dishes, the menu can be enjoyed in the 150-seat main room or at the restaurant’s two stylish bars: a rotating bar facing outwards so patrons can enjoy the view, and a stationary, ultra-contemporary illuminated glass bar where guests can watch the action at the sushi and robata exhibition kitchen. Wine aficionados will appreciate an extensive wine list.

Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck Ratings and Reviews
Had a reservation for 8:30pm. Sat at the bar for an hour before we were seated. What’s the point of the reservation then? The wait time was very unreasonable for having a reservation and it really wasnt that busy. The food was good, but thought it was a little expensive for the amount you receive in portions. It was our first date night here and will probably be the last. Spent right about $300 that night. Great view but the money could of been spent better elsewhere!
Enjoyed a lovely evening at Five Sixty. Stellar views of Dallas from the top of Reunion Tower, made better by the restaurant revolving such that every table has a view. The food was on point, service and staff were excellent. I would definitely recommend five sixty for a dressy evening out. There is a dress code, which isn't too strict but ensures patrons are dressed appropriately. Overall I was quite pleased with our experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent with two exceptions - felt that, at times, service was slow, and when it was time to service our dinner entrees, we received three of our four ordered entrees (we were a party of four) and then received the 4th entree a few minutes later (with apologies from our server).
I made a reservation around 2 weeks ago for Saturday December 9, 2017. I can honestly say my experience Dining at Five Sixty is going to be an unforgettable experience for me and my wife. We were celebrating our 4 year's Anniversary and we are just beyond pleased with our experience. Drinks are amazing, our appetizer was delicious or main meal was juicy, tasty well presented and the sides we got were just perfect to fill us up! And our Desert was so good! I definitely recommend Five Sixty to all my friends and family! The experience seeing all Downtown Dallas and dinning on delicious food will be unforgettable! I look forward in coming back again soon!! Thank you Five Sixty for making our Anniversary Diner a wonderful experience!
The wait staff was attentive and professional. The dessert featured "Happy First Anniversary" written around the edge of the plate in chocolate sauce, which was a nice personal touch. Three employees also wished us a happy anniversary. The water was excellent, and the food very flavorful. I would have appreciated a taller glass to drink from, since water was all that we requested to drink.
The atmosphere was good for a date or a celebration of Any source. However, when you make the reservation, make sure you request a table by the window so you can appreciate the city view. We ask our waiter if we could move to a window table... there was couple available when we asked! But he made it like you couldn’t do that, but we noticed another couple being granted their wish to move to a window table and we didn’t. That was a bit upsetting. Our waiter really wasn’t that great for the money we pay, and his service was average. Food was good, and the place is a good experience for any one to enjoy a night out.
My husband and I chose this restaurant as a spontaneous choice since originally I thought I would not be available to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary the day of..which was December 3rd. Luckily for us, this restaurant had reservations for both our choices, 5 pm and 7 pm. We chose 5 pm to dine. I can't say enough about our waiter Ryan and the other servers (who were right on point!) who made our celebration very memorable. Totally satisfied with the food (the pork chops and fried shrimp rice was the best I have ever tasted!). My hubby and I love food but we do not eat big portions, therefore, we are able to visit literally any restaurant in town because we always share. Well, the food was so fulfilling, even with sharing we had food leftover for home. The wine was exceptional (1 glass and I felt it...lol). But not the next day, just enough to feel romantic and sexy all at the same time. Service, service, service!! Can't say enough about how great the service is. My husband and I are both business owners and we pride ourselves on giving exceptional, outstanding, memorable customer service in our businesses. This restaurant met and exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Ryan and the entire staff for making our celebration an awesome occasion. Will be back soon.
It was great until we decided not to have dessert. The waiter said he would bring a complimentary dessert for us to share for our anniversary, if we wanted to wait for it, so we did, and then we were charged for it on our bill which upset us. We wanted to go to the Geo deck which is part of the reason why we came to this restaurant and the waiter said that he would charge it to our bill to make it easier for us, so he did, and after dinner we went to go up there and it was closed for a private party. All of the staff should have known far far in advance that this was happening. We had the earliest dinner at 5, they said we could come back but the point was lost because it was for our anniversary so it was a hassle to get them to refund it and the maitre d was rude! As of today we still have not been refunded the $10 so it was a little bit of a disappointment, especially for spending $165 on a meal. During the dinner, we talked about making this our spot for our Anniversary from now on, we are now looking elsewhere.
This is a must experience. We had a reservation, checked in and was seated promptly. Josh & Camden provided excellent service. The chef sent to the table green beans and roasted walnuts and it was great. We started our dinner with shrimp & lobster spring rolls and surf & turf sushi roll. Then for our entree we ordered the “Hong Kong style” salmon and it was fabulous. In addition, to the excellent meal there was a beautiful rotating view of Dallas. The experience was the best. If visiting Dallas, this restaurant is a must go to, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Chef, Camden & Josh, I’ll be back again.
In our experience, Five Sixty did not live up to a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. Service was non-attentive and scatter-brained. While the food was good, it was nothing to write home about. We celebrated a birthday and we were presented with a nicely decorated dessert. The view was excellent and made the 2-hour+ meal enjoyable. With a price tag over $400 for a party of four, I expected more. The Scallops Plate was literally 4 scallops. I hope your experience is better ...
We've been to this restaraunt a few times before. All were great experiences. This one not so good. Given small table facing glass with table up against small wall immediate right, perpendicular to the glass. The restaurant rotates, so having this small wall next to us, pointing at the glass, amplified the motion against the glass escutchians that kept passing by. Very distracting. Wife complained about getting a bit nauseated due to the constant periphial motion viewing. I have to agree. We asked for a different table, but were denied as they noted they were completely booked with later reservations. Ok, fine, we would manage.
As the night went on, it was evident that this wall was going to continue to be a problem. With the small table against the wall to the right, us facing the glass, the Bus boy had no way of getting access to the table except to reach over my head or shoulder from the back. Unfortunately for me, the bus boy was very good at his job. Every few minutes as i drank water, he would constantly fill it back up.
Random arms would suddenly jet past my head from behind as i would be carrying on a conversation. This happened all night long, waiter & bus boy continually. I had to crouch down numerous times to allow him to reach my glass, etc. Very distacting.
Ordered Pork Chop, which turned out to be very dry. Exterior was cooked thru but under cooked in center. Didn't eat center portion. Always heard one should never risk eating undercooked pork. I am not a chef, so technically it could have been alright. For me, having pink in my steak is ok, not to keen in my pork though.
When main entrees first arrived, we had no vegetables or sides. I guessed we missed the sides in the menu. One would have thought the waiter would have mentioned something. So, we had to order sides after meal already delivered. Later arrived about half way thru meal.
Except for the bus boy, the overall service was very slow.
It was a very special Birthday so I knew the food icon and Dallas landmark would not disappoint. The traffic did however turning a 10 minute commute to 2 hrs. I thought for sure we would lose our reservation with the Cowboy game and busy downtown atmosphere but James our host and Jeremiah our server turned it around and made it a perfect evening. The 5 and 7 course options are a sure thing.
This is a great destination if you are ever in Dallas. Food is ok, we ordered several items and finally settled on the salmon, when it came to our table, it was luke warm. We had a terrible waiter, he appeared to not want to deal with us, he wanted us to order all of our food at one time because he said it would take a long time to prepare. Our salmon entree came to our table in about 10 minutes. After we did not order like he wanted, he was distant. He did not explain the menu, but for other patrons he did. We asked about the mixed drinks, beer and he just handed us the menu. We did notice that the customers behind us who were ordering bottles of wine, he was very nice to and was visiting their table every other minute. The other staff in the restaurant and at the elevator were very nice and professional. The view in the restaurant is very nice and I would visit again. This was my 50th birthday and I did not want to make a big scene, but if I visit again and have an issue with the waiter, I will be sure to ask for the manager. Because of this experience with our waiter, I was proud not to leave a tip!!!!!!
I took my girlfriend here to propose to her and have to say that I couldn't have made a better choice. Our waiter Jack helped coordinate with me to make this night one to remember. Jack was literally the best waiter that I have ever had. Staff is VERY professional, kind and knowledgeable. The view is beautiful and the wine list is never ending but definitely not intimidating. Would recommend this place to anyone for any occasion.
