Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck
My wife and I dined here for the special 3 course Easter brunch. We both began with lobster and shrimp spring rolls which were excellent! I believe the spring rolls were the winner of the meal. I ordered the steak and eggs, and my wife chose the Korean fried chicken & waffles. My steak and eggs were good. No wow factor, but good. My wife’s chicken & waffles however were a fail. The flavor and simply the quality of the food was all off. We’ve had dinner here and were well pleased, but this brunch was a strike.
Our server was incredibly helpful and informative. Very personable and knowledgeable regarding the menu, particularly related to slightly off-menu items such as vegetarian entrees (and extra spicy options!).
We had a minor issue early in the night and the manager, James, went above and beyond to ensure that our guest experience was fantastic. One of our favorite spots and it will continue to be so due to the quick response and customer-centric focus.
Me and my wife went for our anniversary.and I must say very elegant
And the elevator ride with the view going up was amazing
Me and my wife have been coming to 560 for 8 years on our anniversary and every years it seems like the first time every time. We really look forward dinning, the view out or city and the cocktails.... The best is the sushi chef always make time to visit with us....
Everything was awesome from the view to the food to the drinks.
Had a great experience here as the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Had the Szechuan beef and quail, recommendations by our server, and truly amazing. The desserts were also delicious as we had the cheesecake pops and chocolate souffle. Only negative was the woman getting slightly drunk and loud at the table next to us. Otherwise a truly wonderful experience and one we hope to enjoy again soon.
Rex was an AMAZING waiter!! If you do go. Ask for Rex!
Our server was really attentive. Food was great in terms of presentation, uniqueness in flavor, and taste. Someone was always making sure or drinks are filled. Staff was very welcoming. View of downtown was great!!!
Wonderful evening at 560. Views were incredible and perfect service from Gabriel. He had wonderful recommendations for both food and drink. They had the best old fashioned either of us had ever had and Grab Your Ankles (!) was like the world’s best mojito style drink only with gin which made it even better. The chicken dumplings were probably our favorite savory course and wow the baked Alaska dessert was light and practically melted in your mouth. Stunning evening and service. Thanks for the experience!
Great dinner. Definitely go before sunset to enjoy the view!
OUTSTANDING!!!! Our waiter REX made our night so special. Everything about our experience was magical and delightful. We were a group of 8 and had pretty much everything on the menu and the sushi menu and we cannot decide on what dish was the best because they were ALL our favorite! We highly recommend 560! And we highly recommend asking for REX he will make your night even more special!
Amazing experience, great food, fantastic service.
Servers were very knowledgeable on the menu items and professional. Appetizer was 10/10. Freshest sushi I’ve ever had.
Five-Sixty was very upscale and the service was excellent. Our servers were very polite and made my birthday dinner very special. The portions are very small but flavorful! It is the kind of restaurant you go for special occasions and if you feel like being lavish. I enjoyed the experience!
Our server Josh was excellent! He was very attentive and answered all questions. The food was delicious. We had sushi (maki and nigiri) that was outstanding. The dumplings were flavorful! The atmosphere was top notch. We had a window seat to see all 360 degrees of the spectacular Dallas Skyline. It was a great night for our Mommy-Daughter Date!
My wife and I love this place! We come in every year for her birthday and for our anniversary.
I took my three daughters there before going to see "Hamilton". We had a good table and pleasant server, and a delightful meal. The ribs and spring roll appetizers were' very good. The ribs probably could have been my entire meal, but then I would have missed out on the exquisite duckling. The chicken and quail were enjoyed as was a trio of sides for the vegetarian in the group. The pace of dinner was perfect and we headed out to the show right on time. A great start to an enjoyable evening!
Very nice experience!
Wonderfull diner and service. Thans you for everithing
I made a reservation for 7:30. We showed up 6 minutes early. The hostess got us checked in and told us to go stand by the gray wall in front of elevator. After the 3rd time of the elevator opening and letting off guests from the restaurant the doors shut immediately and no one was there to escort us. The group behind us watched the elevator open and let off guests and close with no one to escort us. We finally went to the hostess asking her if we are supposed to get in or is someone supposed to escort us. She came and scanned her card and the elevator came and went with no escort. We had to get her a second time and she told us usually there is someone to escort us but he had to bring a cake upstairs. This time she held the door and the escort was present. At this point had waited upwards of 10-15 minutes just to get to the elevator. Then when got upstairs the groups behind us were promptly seated and we were the last 2 and waited about 2 min before being seated. Then we are sat at a 2 seater table not next to a window. I politely asked if we could sit at the open table next to the windows the gentleman came back and said they unfortunately had a large number of 4 tops waiting to be sat so we could not move. We sat through our entire meal of 2 hours and not only did the table we requested to move remain unseated but the table next to it once cleared remained empty. The food and our server, Jack, was the highlight of the evening. My disappointment came from unclear communication from hostess, waiting almost 20 minutes after our reservation to be seated, and then feeling a little lied to about the table not being available. This was my first visit here and this is definitely for special occasions but the ambiance was ruined for me from hostess to table location and not being able to move.
Waiter was awesome. The dumpling were cold and Brussels sprouts way too salty.
Took friends from out of town and it was wonderful. Steaks were perfect sprouts and fingerling potatoes. All excellent.
Ambiance cannot be beat.
I loved everything about this place, definitely coming back!!!!!!
Enjoyed the view, the environment, and attention to detail.
Everything was fantastic & I just love that place!
My husband and I truly enjoyed our experience and delicious food at Five Sixty! Great night in Dallas.
Fantastic service, food is always out of this world.
We had a wonderful night at 560. The view is amazing and the service was great. We took our time to enjoy the views and our server was very cordial about letting us take time. We shared some dumplings and other menu items. The chocolate soufflé was the best we have ever had. Our server also acted as a tour guide because we kept asking what the site are. What a great iconic place for Dallas!
The best experience ever. Everything there was wonderful! The food is the best food that I have ever tried.
Service is exceptional and the food is amazing...
Very good service and the food was exceptional. It was our anniversary and we would congratulated by just about everyone we spoke to. Me and my wife would definitely return.
Perhaps not what you might imagine as being "Texan" but what a wonderful experience. Gabriel & Q were outstanding with their service, attentiveness & recommendations. LOVED the scallops!! Never felt like they "hovered" but they were always there just when we needed something. Food was fantastic as were the views. Will set you back a few bucks, but my wife & I have no regrets...just very pleasant memories.
I would recommend for the ambiance, view, and fantastic bar cocktails. Food presentation was beautiful, but it did not live up to its looks. Duck was dry. Bao Bun meat was chewy and contained sinewy ligaments. I'll go back...but just for drinks.
All Wolfgang Puck restaurants have interesting and great food. This was very romantic and view. This is the first Asian themed restaurant I've dined at from Wolfgang Puck. It is truly gourmet Asian fusion cuisine with classic touches. I do have motion sickness and it made me a little sick looking out since it constant rotates. This place has a dress code and reservations a must.
Exceptional experience. Beautiful 360 degree view of Dallas at night is beautiful. Food was exceptional. Thought it would be more pricey but was reasonable. Nice place if you want to dress up and have dinner/cocktails. Good pleace for special occasions. Will definitely eat there again.
Very great experience and view!! Just a bit pricey but good service!
Our waiter Jack was Awesome! He was prompt, knowledgeable and attentive.
I would recommend the experience but can’t recommebd the food. We started with the surf and turf sushi roll and that was probably our favorite part. We both ordered the scallops but were told they were out and so I had the lobster and crab rolls and my dining companion had the salmon. They were both ok but honestly we had a better meal at the chain restaurant we attended the night before. We ended with the Baked Alaska which was good if you’re a big Matcha fan but it wasn’t something either of us would order again. The view was breathtaking, the decor modern and appealing, the man refilling our drinks and bartenders were amazing, and all other staff was pleasant and moderately attentive. I would suggest if you want to experience the view meeting for drinks or sticking to the sushi.
