Took my boyfriend here for his birthday we loved it here!
We had a most incredible experience. We were celebrating my daughters 16th birthday. From the moment we checked in with the host downstairs, they wished her a happy birthday, and did so throughout the night. The food was delicious, atmosphere, couldn't be beat, service impeccable! It made a most memorable night for all 3 of us. Thanks for making the night so absolutely amazing!!!
The attendance at the check in location were rude and unprofessional. And to locate that check in location is actually difficult if you’re not from Dallas. The reservations were about an hour behind. And the manager tried to decline my entrance to the dining room area and requested that I eat my meal at the bar because I was wearing ripped jeans not holey jeans despite being well dressed. The mail came out cold and I didn’t bother returning a bag.
Everything was absolutely delicious and amazing. We loved the view, the service, and the food.
My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here this past Saturday and the staff just made it so much more special, from the moment we arrived to the moment we finished eating they truly were great at making you feel comfortable. They even gave us a complimentary dessert which I was not expecting at all, very sweet of them. The view is amazing at night, great place for special occasions such as anniversaries, but I wouldn’t recommend for people on a tight budget because it did get a little pricy, but the occasion made me see past that for this time. Overall, just amazing!
The service was mediocre especially for a place that is so expensive. I had 10pm reservations and checked in 15 mins early and had to wait 2hrs just to be seated. When we were seated they put us at a small table alway from the great view. So we had them switch our table which took an additional 20-30 mins. Once seated the 2nd time the waiter did a good job. The food was good but very expensive.
Food was good but the service was ok.. we had reservation got there on time but we had to wait for 30 mins downstairs in the lobby (cause our kids were not 21) so could not wait at the bar. But there was no seating or arrangement for waiting there. Our son being allergic to nuts so we had made them aware in the Resturant and still we were served with sauce that had peanuts in the appetizer and the server confirmed no nuts, ofcourse just a bite of it caused allergic reaction and we had to leave ' disappointing was that we had to pack the meal entreé from the kitchen that was not even served cause the server said it was ready and we had to pay for it in full & tip as well. We paid, Though ofcourse the food is not the same as it is fresh & we were not able to eat it too. So our experience was different & unpleasant, though calamari was pretty good ( only meal we had there) and the view was good form up there, wish the server and cook would have not used peanuts & we were able to enjoy the whole meal, am sure it would have been good..
The service was horrible I had a 8:30 p.m. reservation didn't get seated until 10:32 the staff and management was extremely Unapologetic
This restaurant is perfect for elegant dining with a view. We had such a wonderful time. Our server was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was inspired and delicious.
The food was amazing the entire way through the waiter nailed the wine selection buy me just describing our likes and dislikes. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience
The service and food wss AMAZING! They made our anniversary very special.
I did enjoy as anticipated. The food was not to my expectation. Not well cooked. Food was smelling the smoke n so it tasted disgusting. Marinated lamb was not well cooked.
Sorry the experience was bad this time. I think I wasted $ 114.00
Was very cold indeed
This restaurant was EVERYTHING!! I highly recommend it when you’re visiting Dallas.
Terrific cuisine, unbelievable flavors! Very attentive service. A great dining experience!
A good experience because of the location, is all about the place not the food nor service.
Food is “ok”
Service was acceptable according to the prices, compared to other premium restaurants.
This was an awesome experience for my wife and myself. I am afraid of heights but with my wife's conversation and the excellent food it took away my worries. Thank You Five Sixty for the best experience and especially for us first timers. 5 stars all the way aROUND. 😂😂😂
We opted for the 7 course tasting menu which was a great way to try a variety of food. Food was perfect. Service was outstanding. View was amazing!!
Food was very good. Different but good. Service was fine and the view is breathtaking. The only negative is the wait to use a rest room. It can kill the evening if you let it because you have to leave your table for so long.
Great place to eat and pricing wise it is similar to other fine dining restaurants. We started off with 2 appetizers, the dumplings and crab cake. Portion size was small as is typical of fine dining restaurants. 1 crab cake and 5 dumplings. But they were packed with flavor.
I was surprised that the entrees are actually large portions. We had the lacquered duckling and general Tso Quail with a added side of fingerling potatoes. Both were amazing. The duck had crispy skin and it’s fat pretty much melted in your mouth.
For dessert we had the baked Alaskan (a cake base with a sorbet ice cream on top covered in some sort of mousse) and a cheesecake. Both were really tasty and beautifully presented.
Would definitely recommend dining here. It was great experience and great view. Staff was attentive and very courteous. We will definitely be coming back!
My girlfriend and I went here for our 1 yr anniversary, and it was the perfect choice! The service was outstanding, everybody that served us wished us a happy anniversary! We even got a small dessert at the end of our meal as compliments of the chef. The food was unique and wonderful. I am a bit partial since I love Asian food, and while this is not entirely Asian food it is Asian inspired American food (along with some Asian food). So if you’re not a fan of Asian food have no fear. The food was surprisingly quick, we ordered and it came out within about 10-15 min if that. The view was absolutely incredible and the ambiance was nice due to the fact that they have dividers about every three tables. So the noise level was dampened from that which was nice. Overall this is a wonderful establishment whether it is a special event or simply a nice night out.
Had an amazing time and great experience overall. Josh did an exceptional job - he had awesome customer service! Definitely recommend
IVe been wanting to try 560 for a few years. I don’t live in Dallas but promised myself I’d try it when i visted Again. Definitely wasn’t what I thought it would be. Waited two hours to be seated because they forgot about my friend and I. When we finally did get seated after reminding them several times we were still there, we were seated next to a loud ghetto family. Food was ok. I expected a lot more. Maybe a classier vibe is what I expected. Wasn’t worst the visit. Definitely disappointed.
Best view in Dallas
Dinner was great. Our server Nick was very friendly and informative about the menu and options available. Haven't been there in a few years, but will definitely come back!
It was awesome
The view, the service, the food, perfection. Well done 560! We’ll be back.
Great view of the city, and overall a nice experience. Food was decent for the most part, but nothing to really write home about. The main problem here is the service. The wait and bar staff is nice enough, but extremely slow to the point that it feels as if they have forgotten about you. I would come back for a special occasion, but by no means would it be my first choice.
P.S. Stay away from the duck. It was so much fattier than any cut of duck I’ve ever had before, and was inedible for the most part. To top that off I was grasping on to the toilet for dear life the next morning as I felt my soul sucked out through my rear end. I haven’t felt so terrible in many many years, and would highly recommend choosing anything else on the menu.
We were seated promptly, served quickly and the staff was fantastic! The food was gorgeous as well as delicious!!
Made reservations to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Received non-present service, and long wait times. The food was near perfect, service needs a major improvement.
I hadn't been to 560 in five years, since i'd relocated to DC. It was everything I remembered it being. The place is tons of fun and the food is always amazing. The duck is my personal favorite. Thanks again Wolfgang, and his great staff.
I have been going here for years. In particular the tasting menu was amazing. I decided to drop a house payment to celebrate my wife and my birthday with our family (6 total) and do the 7 course tasting menu. It took 3.5 hours and was over seasoned, over cooked and poorly prepared. Not sure what happened. I hope they figure out what’s gone wrong.
If you are looking for fine dinning , this is the place to go too. But you must be a classy person .
This was phenomenal. We greatly enjoyed our experience here! Would recommend to anyone!
Absolutely fabulous meal.
Server was attentive, knowledgeable and caring.
View is fabulous of Dallas area.
Prices are a bit steep, but for the quality and creativeness, very fair.
Definitely a special occasiob place, but very worth it.
Had a blast on our Anniversary. We would definitely go back. It was really romantic and the view was amazing
Excellent Asian food with an incredible view
Some people brought eight 10-12 yr old girls and then went to the bar and left them unattended. The kids were unruley. The waiter apologized three times but it wasn't his fault. They finally left and everything was good. We enjoy your restaurant. Carter McGregor
The view is spectacular. Our appetizer of a california roll and an order of Crystal Chive dumplings were fantastic. I ordered the Red fish and it was very good. My wife ordered the wok fried snapper and it was a bit overcooked. It was also served with the head which she does not cate for. The pineapple crumble with coconut ice cream desert was a wonderful way to end our meal
The service was not up to standards. We were not seated for our 7 pm reservation until 7:30. Thats ok it happens. What made it worse was the middle age couple sitting across from us, who were obviously feeling non pain, who could not keep there hands off of each other.
It took our waiter close to 10 mins to greet us once we were seated. He would disappear at times and it took a while to pay our bill.
One word of caution, the valets for the restaurant charge you $20 to park your car. They do not mention the fee until you leave. Not cool
Overall I would recommend Five Sixty but I would probably not go back
All the food is insanely good.
Of course the location is fabulous.
The staff could be more accommodating. The overall vibe is that this is a money machine and customers are incidental to the operation. The dinner guests with reservations should get preference over bar patrons. Our special night was delicious but not spectacular.
