Last week in Dallas
Loved this place! Visiting from out of state, and happy we chose this spot for a nice formal dinner!
My family and I dined here for my birthday. I really enjoy this place. I'm from Virginia so anytime I get a visitor from home to come to Dallas I always take them to this restaurant.
Great service. Food was delicious and the drinks were tasty.
Beautiful views, awesome place for a date or special occasion.
My singular complaint was the cleanliness of the restrooms. I was utterly shocked to hear from my date that condition of the room when she was in there. Other than that the evening was wonderful.
The food, service and view were all amazing!
Amazing place would recommend for everyone to go and have dinner
Outstanding meal, service and overall experience!
GREAT view, Excellent Service, and Delicious Food!
It was extremely enjoyable. The staff was awesome. Our waiter seemed to really like his job and congratulated us several times on our anniversary. We had the 5-course chef’s menu and enjoyed everything. We tried things we might not have ever tried like sea urchin. We will celebrate our next anniversary there again, like we did last year. Thank you for making it more than just a meal. It was an experience.
It was amazing, I went for my birthday and I was extremely excited and impressed!
Great food, great atmosphere. Amazing dining experience!
Had reservations for 9 didn’t get seated until 9:40 ,. It was a one time thing for us for sure! Way over priced for the quality of food and service! We were looking forward to this dinner and was highly disappointed.
We each got the 7 course meal and it was very good. We were there approximately 3 hours. Next time I am sure that we will not get more than the five course meal, as we left very full but very satisfied.
It was really good. They food wasn’t the best but not too bad. Service was great
Great food, wish it had all come out together. Server seemed annoyed that we had two young daughters with us and appeared to avoid our table as we watched him visit others frequently. We were there for our youngest daughters birthday and just didn’t get the special moment she had wished for. This was something she had been asking for three years. Even she at her young age noticed. We will come back but not sure we would bring our girls.
After reading some of the lower rated reviews my expectations were low. I could not have been more wrong. We showed up a little early to grab a before dinner drink and were graciously welcomed and seated immediately. After a few minutes my wife started feeling poorly due to the rotating skyline. The staff acknowledged this was an infrequent but common problem and in no way seemed to be put out or offended by our leaving. Instead we were seated at the sushi bar in a manner that resolved by wife's vertigo. After that we visited by the manager, our original waiter and the Sommelier to ensure all was well.
We worked our way through our courses and everything was as a minimum good up through outstanding. (I did not think the Fingerling Potatoes side dish was consistent with the rest of the meal.) The Seared Hamachi Sashimi appetizer was excellent with neither the jalapeno or the citrus overwhelming the fish. The other appetizer, the Smoked Wagyu Brisket Pot Stickers were also quite good.
The Marinated Lamb Chops were missing the eggplant, but were the last order in the house and easily the memorable lamb chops we have had in the last few years. (Their omission was not worth complaining about after the service we had been provided by the staff.) The Lacquered Duckling was also very good. Our desserts were also excellent. My advice is to follow any advise by your waiter concerning the side dishes. We did not listen and should have.
The wine list is extensive and seems to cover the gamut from"fun and interesting" wines to vintages for the most demanding oenophile. On the Sake side of the list, the Junmai Daiginjo selection seems good and does not appear over priced. Our order was an unusual English sparkling wine that was very decent and quite enjoyable. (It was fun and interesting!)
As an aside, sitting at the sushi bar afforded an opportunity to watch the Sushi Chef at work. I will go back for the sushi.
Highly recommended, listen to your waiter!
My wife and I came here for our wedding anniversary and loved it. The menu is creative, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. Our waiter Gabriel was very helpful with recommendations and helped make our experience a very positive one. Would definitely come back for a special occasion.
Fantastic food and even better service. We had a wonderful evening here for our anniversary! Plenty of food to choose from and the barrel aged old fashioned was perfect. Plus you can’t beat the views
My wife and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary. This is a great place to spend a special time. I suggest the tasting menu.
Came here with my wife for our 2nd year anniversary. View was great. Food was great. I got a little motion sick because of the rotation and I'm usually not someone who gets motion sick so if you are someone who regularly gets motion sick, I don't know that I could recommend this place to you. But for me I got used to it after I ate and had sipped on my Old Fashioned.
After reading all of the reviews, I was worried the quality of the food would be subpar. It was delicious! It is expensive but I think you are paying more for the view than the food. The floor rotates and you get to see the whole city while enjoying good food! My bf and I went here for our anniversary and we will be back.
It was my husband’s birthday but they didn’t care and despite of the other restaurant nothing for complimentary!
The food wasn't great. Overall food is not really worth the price. The whole experience is worth though. The views are amazing. The restaurant was very noisy and the dress code was not really followed by people.
2. Experience of the revolving restaurant
3. Good waiters
4. Valet Parking charges are reduced to $5 if validated.
1. Food was below average. Certainly not worth the price.
2. Restaurant was very very noisy.
3. The tables were very near to each other. Very less space between tables.
4. The bulbs above were not consistent. Some very bright and some dim. It kept changing as we revolved.
5. Had to pay for Valet Parking after a $200 bill.
6. Restrooms were dirty.
Great date night experience, a little pricey, but well worth it. Had a great time. Good food and drinks along with the Dallas skyline made it amazing.
560 is a good Asian Fusion restaurant in a great location. Service and attention to our special occasion was very good. Sushi good. Lobster spring rolls excellent. Chocolate soufflé was decadent and delicious. Very nice evening
Fabulous food. Tremendous service and great ambience.
The overall experience was wonderful. Jack, our waiter, was impeccable.
The tasting menu was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. Each course was beautifully presented and explained and tasted as good as it looked.
The only complaint I would have is that the waits between courses were long. It took almost 40 minutes for the dessert to arrive after the steak course had been finished.
Otherwise, everything was perfect.
First Timers for me and my husband! Was absolutely amazing. Defiantly going back.
Food is expensive, but it also tastes good. Service was good, but it was a bit unresponsive at times. Otherwise, I would give the service 5 stars instead of 4.
It was very good, the only thing is that food price isn’t worth. Other than that is pretty cool
I reserved a seat for 9:00 one week prior to us attending the restaurant. We traveled from Tulsa Oklahoma to Dallas to eat at this restaurant. We received a call one day prior confirming our reservation, the event (my sister's birthday) we were celebrating and informing us of the dress code. When we arrived we paid for valet parking and went up the elevator to the restaurant. We were not seated until 9:30 and waited at the bar because they overbooked. When we finally got seated. The wait immediately gave us a menu but it took him 15 minutes to check back on us to take our order. I guess he had more important customers. Finally we were able to place our order. I looked at my watch it was 10:45 and our food had not even arrived to our table. We were hungry so we decided to get up and leave and dine elsewhere. We got on the elevators and the manager came running after us and in front of all of the other attendees he yelled, "you ladies skipped out on your bill" I was absolutely modified!!!!! In all my frustration I calmly let him know that it is almost 11:00 and we still had not had any food brought to our table. He then asked loudly "so you guys did not eat anything?" (He was standing in front of the elevators to keep the doors from closing with 6 other guests on the elevator) I said "no. " And then he responded "OH" and allowed the elevator doors to close.
It was a mortifying experience. The ambience of the restaurant was top notch but everything else was extremely poor. I honestly may of thought it could have been because we were African American. It was to late to go to another upscale restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday. We decided to leave and attend Zienna's, where we had amazing Thai food.
Of all the restaurants with a skyline rotating view, (Hawaii, St. Pete, Seattle, even San Antonio) this is the worst!
While you know kids, and tourists, want to experience it and the restaurant says kid friendly, it is definitely not suited for kids or tourists. Food is bland- shishito peppers were undercooked and boring, shrimp and lobster spring rolls flavorless and only tasting of fried wonton wrapper. Cocktail menu is interesting and did enjoy cocktail however overpriced at $16 and not a lot of volume
Waiter was bumbly but did try
The funniest part is how they stress dress code when confirming res and state it again when u call to confirm however it’s not enforced at all. Guests came in wearing short shorts, ripped jeans, etc. Overall think restaurant thinks it is more than it is.
The experience was great! The pricing is on the upper end but the ambiance, the service and the food makes it worth the $$. I highly recommend for special occasions. They make you feel comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, not rushed to get you in and get you out.
We reserved a party of 5 for a birthday dinner. The view was a pleasure to see with the sunset in the distance. Our waiter was mediocre at best, although I witnessed great service from other waiters. My sister found hair in her dinner. She was quite upset. The food was good, and a bit pricey. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Perfect for a romantic dinner.
I took my daughters and wife on special Father Day. The girl said that this restaurant is even better than Disney World!
Pretty sure that's the best compliment ever.
My wife and I went here for the first time for our first anniversary dinner. The restaurant is at the top of one of the taller buildings in downtown Dallas with a 360 degree view of downtown Dallas and the surrounding areas. Not only that, but the restaurant revolves, allowing you to take in the full vista. The restaurant is worth it just for the view and the experience. The food was simply amazing. I had easily the best lamb chop I’ve ever had. This restaurant is the kind of place that you need to go to when you visit Dallas. Like Dealey Plaza, a Dallas icon. The only detractor from the experience was how closely the tables are placed to each other. My wife and I were constantly either hitting or being hit by the people on either side of us. A bit more space between the tables would have made the experience perfect.
Coming to Dallas one MUST come here. This is an Asian-flair restaurant with a revolving, stunning view of Dallas. BUT.. the service was impecable, the food choice stunning yet not overwhelming. My Fiancee Pamela and I both went for the Crispy Texas Quail and was excellent. Added to this was Pinoet Grigio Landas, the almost unnoticeable revolving view, a beautiful woman - my fiancee, and it made for an impressive dining experience. Don't miss this opportunity, reserve your dining for around 8 pm as the sun sets and downtown buildings neon details come alive. Wolfgang Puck - a culinary genius.
