This old steakhouse has a very dated theme. They are trying to be old timey with black and white films airing upstairs without audio, and saying they want it to feel like a “supper club” without defining what that means. Absolutely huge portions, which they boast are cooked under 1800 degrees for a charred finish. A little overcooked and my strip sirloin absolutely over charred. The winning dish was the creamed spinach. Blue cheese dressing on the ordinary house salad was more mayo than cheese. Friendly but unprofessional service. Nice effort but the food just not there…

Had a great dining experience last night (5/27/23) at Five O’Clock. The Old Fashioneds were very tasty. We were seated earlier than our reservation (very nice) and had great service. Food was excellent. Loved the steaks and the salad and the creamed corn as a side. Desserts and grasshoppers were top notch. Can’t say enough. We had a great time!

Did not like being upstairs. Steak had a burnt taste to it because of the process they use. Baked Potato was way too big and only options were sour cream and butter, not even salt on the outside. Same for the asparagus. It was good, but nothing Spectacular.

My husband and I took his mother for dinner on 5/26/23. The waitress was so lovely; however, my husband's ribs came out cold. I don't understand how a slab of ribs covered in bbq sauce is ice-cold in the middle. My mother-in-law shared her food with her son, and by the time they came back with his food, we were done eating. Before leaving, I had to go to the lady's room, and I was so shocked at how small the restroom was; there was a line outside the door, and the bathroom was outdated. Only three of us dined that night, and our bill for food and drinks came to $346.00. I was expecting better food and a bathroom.

Free Valet parking, bar seating right away, along with the customer service being extremely Awesome.. the food menu was explained very well by our waiter, and We were not disappointed at all. Although the sides are Al la Carte it is enough to go around, just absolutely amazing.. I will be back

It was our first time there. The overall experience was really good with the exception of being rushed from the second we arrived until we left. I recommend you waiting time in between ordering appetizers, salads, food, dessert, etc. If you don’t everything is basically brought at once and then the check is immediately brought as well.

It had been quite a few years since we'd dined at Five O'Clock and after our dinner we're regretting all the years away. From having a drink at the bar, to enjoying the fresh baked bread and relish tray, to the amazing steaks, everything was perfect. Love that so little has changed over the years. Truly a Wisconsin supper club gem.

From the moment you pull up outside until you drive away every detail of you visit is attended to. The staff is amazing and of course the food and cocktails are outstanding! A great place to celebrate our anniversary ! Oh and the desert was off the chain , a great surprise.

I took my 83 yr old Pops here last night, as he hadn’t been since it was Coerper’s years ago and was looking forward for a night out! It was once again delicious and all the staff were cordial and efficient as always.

Waitress susanne seemed to rush us thru the meal. The steaks were fatty and not tender. The crab was dry we told her and she just said I could have the cook refresh them. Not even sure what that means for the price of almost $400. We will never go back there again. The service and the food is nothing like was 2 years ago. So disappointing. Zero stars.

Steaks are very good. Sides mediocre- steak fries and green beans. Salad okay- blue cheese dressing barely suggests blue cheese. Needs blue cheese in it. Dont get the german chocolate cake- disappointment the only thing worthwhile is the steak. The service is not great. Servers take your plates while people at rhe table are eating. They keep coming back to take a plate if they even see you pause your fork. So many interruptions. Dont they jnow itnis rude to take plates before the last person is finished? Dining 101.

Classic Milwaukee Steakhouse and Supper Club. From the valet parking, to the perfect Old Fashioned, to the relish tray waiting for you at the table - the experience is great. The obvious highlight is the charred filet. It comes to the table with a dark char edge, but the steak is cooked perfectly to temperature from edge to edge. The seasoning and flavor is so good it makes you chew slower to savor every moment. Paired with a good bottle of wine, and capped off with a wonderful slice of key lime pie. The Five O'Clock Steakhouse was a wonderful way to celebrate a special night!

Long time devotee to the 5 O Clock Club experience. Matches any steak in Chicago. We drove up from Evanston Illinois to celebrate my 65th birthday. Will gladly do it again and definitely will not wait to number 66.
