I took my wife to Ogunquit Maine for Valentines Day and booked reservations at Five 0... we have dined at Five 0 before and returned because it is a class operation top notch food, drinks and most especially service.. looking forward to our return.

Took my wife their for my Birthday, that’s how much faith I have in this place. Should be called Food Heaven. We went for breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict with, get ready. English muffin, crab cake, lobster, shrimp and scallops. Worth going to Heaven for, and they only charged 23 I would have paid 83, just saying. And of course don’t skip their pancakes. Very lite. I enjoyed the blueberry chocolate chip. And opted for the maple syrup that our waitress suggested. How by the way couldn’t have been nicer to this, and I hate to say it NY food Brat. I should have spelt their and then ate again. Job well done people, pat yourselves on the back. I wish I could have added a picture of the creation I ate. Hummm

The food was very good. I had the bolognese and my wife had the cod special. But the service and atmosphere was what made the night. Our waiter was very attentive and had great knowledge of the menu and was able to answer all questions. Would definitely go back again.

We loved it! Excellent food, nice atmosphere, great waiter. It was a special treat for my birthday. Plus the two tables closest to us were also celebrating birthdays, so we had a chance to chat with other guests. Very enjoyable experience.

Five-O has become a favorite when dining out in Ogunquit. The staff, in particular Tory and Gary are awesome, always friendly and accommodating. The selection of appetizers are very good, with variety of cheeses, arincini and meats to start. The bolognese is a favorite as is the chicken entree. Always consistent and enjoyable!

Excellent food and service was too notch, as should have been since restaurant was quiet on a Sunday evening off season. Bar scene though was active and looked quite entertaining what with trivia games in progress there.

We have been going to 5-0 twice a year for 15 years. We drive up from Boston on our anniversary and birthday weekend getaways and have never been disappointed in the 5-0. The food, service, and ambience are all consistenlty excellent. It is the highlight of our weekend. Very grateful.

I'm sorry to say, I would in no way ever recommend Five O to anyone. Our server, Sammy was very pleasant and the cocktail we had was good. The food is another story. I don't mind paying any price when the food is good; I can afford to do so and have. In reviewing their menu you could see they were attempting to be fancy. Too much, too many flavors mixed in some of the entrees. The $24.00 pasta entrée and $6.00 side vegetable I had were terrible at best. The entrée was 6 half moon shaped dumplings stuffed with finely shredded pork and pureed mushroom muck (all completely flavorless) topped with crunchy shaved proscuit ham(?spelling) very finely shaved masitake(??spelling) mushrooms; something different. Not shitake mushrooms. The dumpling shell itself had a good consistency. There was a small amount of a sauce in the bottom of the dish that had a nice aroma, but not much sauce to get a good flavor, what little there was, it was a little tasty. I could only get through two and a half of them. The vegetable side dish of Delicata squash was prepared in bite size pieces and served with the skin on with spices and shallots. This is a winter squash and is not meant to be served to eat the skin. The squash should have been soft all the way through and it was not and with the skin on top of this it was crunchy - it should not have any hard pieces at all. Neither I or my friend cared for the dish. Absolutely terrible.

My friend had the Pollock fish special. The fish was good, not fantastic, the sauce was so, so. At the price is should have been outstanding. It was ok to her, but not good enough to return.

The atmosphere was nice, but noisy. All in all, it was a bust to the extent I would not give it a second chance. Usually I would try a restaurant one more time; sorry, but not this time.

Great food! What a wonderful surprise to find such yummy food a short walk from our hotel. Before coming here, there was only one place in Ogunquit on my regular, reliably excellent list (MC Cove) but now, happily, there are two. I'd come back anytime, with pleasure, and plan to do so during our annual trips to Ogunquit. Appetizer choices are great-- those we tried were uniformly delicious ( fried oysters, chicken pate, mushroom appetizer), great Caesar salad, too, and fantastic pasta, too. Kudos to the chef, kitchen staff, Walt staff!
