Five-0 never disappoints. However, we both selected an item from the menu that was no longer available at our 6:00 PM reservation. Strange that a regular menu items is not available and the server did not advise us until we selected it. Upfront would have been a better service experience. Bread and spreads were spectacular. Gnocchi was amazing.

Love the food, ambiance, and service at Five-0 Shore. Always a great combination of flavors and a great menu for Family and Friends. This salad was a great combination of crunchy, salty, sweet with a light vinaigrette. The flank steak was so tasty atop cannellini beans with bacon, rapini, and charred green onion. The only bad part? Having to wait until next fall for Family and Friends nights.

This was our second time dining at this restaurant - and definitely won't be the last! Food choices as well as martinis are creative, fresh and fun. Presentation is amazing and creativity is tops! Amazing combinations of flavors and ingredients. Our fish selections were cooked perfectly - accented by delicious, light sauces and vegetables. Wait staff is well versed in wine choices and able to answer questions about the menu. cozy, classy, yet unpretentious decor. Ogunquit, ME is a great town to visit, but Five-O makes it doubly worth the trip! Thank you!

I am have been to Five O three times. I love the food and atmosphere. I was disappointed to learn this time that the Young Lettuce salad which I lovedddd was changed from a light dressing with pears to a balsamic dressing with raisins. I wish they would change it back. The waiter we had was so not as attentice as previous waiters we've had. We asked what the spring vegetables were and he replied with I'm not sure, it's a mixture of what chefs pick out. Not helpful and didn't offer to check. Overall it's a beautiful place with excellent food and I will go back. I hope the salad changes back to original recipe but the bread and bolognese are always amazing!!!

I would recommend the mussels, and the wine-list was pretty good. Our meals were so-so (I had an inventive seafood/pepper linguine dish which just didn't taste that good), and our server was way too kinetic when she was around.

Delicious as always. Went with friends who had never been. He said the steak was the best he'd had in years, so tender. They both loved the Demi Ceaser. We enjoyed the warm olives , polpetti and fried oysters. The Bolognese was excellent. Lisa is so attentive even in a full dining room.

Located right on shore road in downtown Ogunquit, the location is perfect. Italian food done well, combined with attentive service make for a fine dining experience. We went on a weekend in April. I can imagine the line to get in there is really long, come summertime

My only suggestion would be to lessen the salt content of some dishes. One can always add more at the table.

Outside of that, this is amongst our (my wife and me) favorites between Portsmouth and Portland. Fortunately for us we are close by to the Five 0 making it a go to restaurant for a pleasant evening of cocktails and dinner. The staff is super friendly and accommodating from the time one enters to the time of departure.

One additional note - we have at times found it to be a bit on the noisy side, having more to do with the acoustics in the dining room than the lively crowd the restaurant typically draws. This however is not an impediment to our dining at Five 0 as it is a favorite.

Having two servers working room with no support shows. Requested table hostess never mentioned if it was available and sat us in middle of room. Food was good not great sand in my mussels, special cod was very good. Season is just starting. Five O will improve as season continues.

Although I live in Kennebunkport, I missed going to 50 Shore Road last year. Told my friend about the fantastic restaurant and that they do the "Friends and Family" on Monday nights.
What a delightful evening! Everything about the place was wonderful. We both opted for the
cod, which was the best I've had in the area. Our server was a lovely young woman who has
been there for several years and did a fantastic job. Afterwards we had a drink at the bar
and enjoyed a superb Cosmo. I certainly would give 50 a 5-Star rating and will go back soon, whether for Friends and Family, or any other night. Loved Donato and Jeff, the previous owners, but the new fellows are doing an amazing job! Keep it up!

Took my wife their for my Birthday, that’s how much faith I have in this place. Should be called Food Heaven. We went for breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict with, get ready. English muffin, crab cake, lobster, shrimp and scallops. Worth going to Heaven for, and they only charged 23 I would have paid 83, just saying. And of course don’t skip their pancakes. Very lite. I enjoyed the blueberry chocolate chip. And opted for the maple syrup that our waitress suggested. How by the way couldn’t have been nicer to this, and I hate to say it NY food Brat. I should have spelt their and then ate again. Job well done people, pat yourselves on the back. I wish I could have added a picture of the creation I ate. Hummm

Five-O has become a favorite when dining out in Ogunquit. The staff, in particular Tory and Gary are awesome, always friendly and accommodating. The selection of appetizers are very good, with variety of cheeses, arincini and meats to start. The bolognese is a favorite as is the chicken entree. Always consistent and enjoyable!

I'm sorry to say, I would in no way ever recommend Five O to anyone. Our server, Sammy was very pleasant and the cocktail we had was good. The food is another story. I don't mind paying any price when the food is good; I can afford to do so and have. In reviewing their menu you could see they were attempting to be fancy. Too much, too many flavors mixed in some of the entrees. The $24.00 pasta entrée and $6.00 side vegetable I had were terrible at best. The entrée was 6 half moon shaped dumplings stuffed with finely shredded pork and pureed mushroom muck (all completely flavorless) topped with crunchy shaved proscuit ham(?spelling) very finely shaved masitake(??spelling) mushrooms; something different. Not shitake mushrooms. The dumpling shell itself had a good consistency. There was a small amount of a sauce in the bottom of the dish that had a nice aroma, but not much sauce to get a good flavor, what little there was, it was a little tasty. I could only get through two and a half of them. The vegetable side dish of Delicata squash was prepared in bite size pieces and served with the skin on with spices and shallots. This is a winter squash and is not meant to be served to eat the skin. The squash should have been soft all the way through and it was not and with the skin on top of this it was crunchy - it should not have any hard pieces at all. Neither I or my friend cared for the dish. Absolutely terrible.

My friend had the Pollock fish special. The fish was good, not fantastic, the sauce was so, so. At the price is should have been outstanding. It was ok to her, but not good enough to return.

The atmosphere was nice, but noisy. All in all, it was a bust to the extent I would not give it a second chance. Usually I would try a restaurant one more time; sorry, but not this time.

Great food! What a wonderful surprise to find such yummy food a short walk from our hotel. Before coming here, there was only one place in Ogunquit on my regular, reliably excellent list (MC Cove) but now, happily, there are two. I'd come back anytime, with pleasure, and plan to do so during our annual trips to Ogunquit. Appetizer choices are great-- those we tried were uniformly delicious ( fried oysters, chicken pate, mushroom appetizer), great Caesar salad, too, and fantastic pasta, too. Kudos to the chef, kitchen staff, Walt staff!

We were very much looking forward to our meals and experience. The restaurant has a certain charm and the staff were more than friendly. From there is was a huge disappointment and the worst two meals we experienced during our five day stay in Maine. My steak and 'frites' were so salty they were impossible to eat. After four bites I gave up and did not touch the rest. The worst piece of meat I have ever been served, dry and salted as if it were being shipped overseas in an earlier century. The fries were tasteless, except for the salt. My wife is vegan and they had no meal to accommodate her. She chose a selection of four sides and salad as her meal. They were served on four side plates. Any other restaurant that does not cater to vegans will put together a nice presentation on a single plate, showing a little effort and imagination. I have seem more imagination in take out joints than what we experienced here. So, high hopes and great disappointment. Never again. Shameful.
