Absolutely fantastic place. Service and food was phenomenal and definitely would recommend to anyone.
Tommy our server was completely unprofessional and made mistake after mistake, after taking the whole order which he did NOT write down, some 15 minutes later he brought one glass of wine when I clearly ordered a bottle for my wife and I , he went off again, returned 15 minutes later wirh the wine and two large wine glasses, these were all I could find he said? Then a waitress appeared with a tray of food, hi how are you she said, I said I'd be better if we'd had our salads and warm bread, as he poured the wine ,Tommy said yeah ,well, the kitchen is running an hour behind so I got your order in real quick ? The place did not appear to be especially busy at 915pm we had arrived at 810 for a booking at 815. Our steaks were on the table and he went off to get the salads, my 5 dollar extra truffle butter still hadn't melted when he returned with salad and bread, the steak was tepid at best, hey I'll change it. I declined and explained the mistake after mistake the time it had all taken thus far, Tommys method of dealing with a complaint is to glare at you and stare you out ! So now we have a load of food wine ,salad, bread basket, and steak in front of us on at 2 person table, it was an awful experience, he popped by again to serve another table and began his sales pitch with them ,it was word perfect as the sales pitch we had from him, his favourites, his perfect wine recommendation at 135 dollars on special from the normal 250.We finished the food and choose desert, the creme brulle was granular the salted caramel cheesecake was nothing like Tommy described, he brought the check & said as your pushed for time I've done the check, this was Tommys callback to me complaining about the time scale, We paid & didn't leave him a tip. We have eaten here before as Tommy may recall, because his opening line was have you been to Fish Bones before? Yes I replied and quoted the exact date , he looked at me said nothing, and then took us hrough the menu item by item !
We enjoyed our dinner and the service was great.
We will come again
Visiting infrequently from 200 miles away; finding the consistency of great food across both locations, well prepared & presented by highly efficient, knowledgeable staff, makes for successful business, special occasions, and romantic mealtime.
The place is either too hot or too cold, and the food is really not as great as you would think for the price. The fish was overcooked for at least 2 people in our party and really the flavors were not all there for everyone in our group. The best part of the meal that I heard from everyone was the bread and salad. I calamari was good too, but the carrots and fish items left a lot to be desired specially at a $30+ price tag each. There are many better and higher quality seafood restaurants in Central Florida, and plan to go to places like the Blue Zoo instead.
Food was very blunt and poor
Oysters not very fresh and dry and small ,
Steak was not right ,
My experience at Fish Bones was great. It was my second time visiting and I was not disappointed. Service as well as food was awesome.
Exceptional staff! Was greeted by multiple servers, hosts, manager etc they were all a delight. Food can get pricey but you are getting great portions and quality food! Great for a date night/special occasion. It doesn’t even get that busy until after 7! Great experience and location.
39th Wedding Anniversary and they did some really special and appreciated things. Our server was outstanding!
Apart from Ed the waiter who was excellent.....this was a dreadful dinning experience!
Exceptional food and service. Grateful for accommodation of dietary restrictions without a hassle! Have already referred business friends to go!
Colleen was a great server- very attentive and informative! The whole experience was wonderful and my mother had a splendid birthday.
This place was amazing. From walking in to our exit. The service was phenomenal (Thank you Fluffy) to our food & drinks.
Great dinner and great atmosphere -- waiter was awesome...... would come again
The food was just so so we used to go almost every week, been a while since we have been there last visit was terrible we figured we would give it one more shot, I don't think I will be back for 170 dollars for 2 the meal was not anything special it was on the level of red lobster
They only had a 20 or 22 oz lobster tail...it was my birthday and that is why my husband took me there I LOVE lobster..it was over the top expensive since they could not provide a smaller lobster tail...my husband asked for prime rib med rare..but more on the rare side it wasn't close to even medium rare. he was really disappointed.... he ended up eating 1/2 of my lobster and left 1/2 of the prime rib sit
Long wait for food
Exceptional service and I was standing food and a fabulous environment highly recommended to Lovett good seafood from around the world
This restaurant was absolutely incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for fresh fish that is cooked to perfection paired with other great tasting foods, then Fish Bones is the restaurant for you. I started off with the fish spread which was absolutely delicious not too fishy. The salad was fresh crispy and their homemade dressing was just right. I ordered off of the special menu, which was Hawaiian triggerfish topped with lump crab in their signature light sauce. The waitress was very nice had a great sense of humor, and was on top of her game. Calling ahead using the open table app assured us a seat at the time we requested. Since it was on the weekend, in this particular spot in Orlando where we were staying was very crowded with vacationers. Can’t wait to go back
We made a reservation and was seated immediately. The service was great and the bread was fantastic. Everything was wonderful. We even took home a piece if the chocolate cake and it was divine. Would definitely go again.
The food was not what we expected. The food was either over seasoned or not seasoned well enough. Our waitress was pleasant but not attentive to our needs. The restaurant tried to please us by giving us a free dessert. However, the apple pie was not that great. Just an overall bad experience!
Great service from the waiters and great food
Food was good. Serve car was very good.
Awesome food! Great atmosphere! We make it a point to eat here every time we visit Orlando.
Great attention given for our anniversary. We'll definitely will be back.
Amazing food. Still thinking about it this morning! Great service, courteous and friendly.
Fish was barely edible. Smelled and tasted like it shouldn't have been served. Broccoli melt tasted like dirty socks and had a weird texture. Prime rib was very good. Service was excellent and great ambiance
We celebrated a birthday while on vacation and fish bones didn't disappoint. The quality of the food and service were first class. Best meal we have had in a long time.
Excellent choice for an out-of-town anniversary dinner. Food and service was great and the special attention was extra special. All went well until they seated a young family with two infant/toddlers in the next booth when 6+ booths were available in other areas. Good thinking- NOT!!
Unfriendly bartender lady, bad margarita, food not prepared correctly and remade before we had a chance to request it and thus after all other food had arrived, other tables complaining to the manager nearby, food brought to the table before dishes from previous courses cleared, people changing clothes in ladies restroom as if a locker room, other waitresses shooing me by to hurry me out of her way as I returned to restroom. Overall strange experience. Would never go back. Food just okay.
It seems impossible for me to compliment my waiter but yet ding the restaurant for the time it took to get my food. It took longer than expected in my opinion to get my food. I sat down at about 7:50 give or take and at 8:50 I had not gotten my entree. I made mention of this fact to the manager on duty that night (I do not remember whether her name was Jennifer or Jessica) and to my amusement, she tried verbal gymnastics to explain why it took so long. She assured me that because I had ordered oysters, my food was thus cued to follow that much later. Well sorry to disagree with you but it also took another 30 minutes from the time i sat down to get bread and salad. I was personal because everyone else around me was not receiving that same quality or lack thereof of service. Lastly, I observed this same manager walk about and ask everyone else how their food was and how was the service but would not stop at my table. And lastly, when the food came, the steak was too salty and the Madagascar prawns was cold.
Very good fish selection, recommend gulf snapper, just fantastic.
Service was amazing and food was great too. Waiter explained all of the specials clearly and made some good recommendations to help. Great meal.
Waiter was intelligent, helpful and friendly. Food portions were adequate, and the menu
Was extensive. Overall a pleasant dinkng experience.
This place really missed the mark for me. It was my first time, and sadly, also my last. First, I had a reservation for 8:30. As I was walking up to the restaurant, I received a text that my table was ready... great timing! I approached the hostess stand who was particularly unpleasant, she simply said "ok" and went back to what she was doing. FIFTEEN minutes later, I was called for my table that was "ready" when I was walking in the front door. Odd. The restaurant was not busy, despite being a Friday night (clue!) and there were many empty tables - so not sure why we had to wait so long. Well, the wait for the table was about equal to the wait for our server "Chad" to come say hello to us. He was super dry and lacked any noticeable personality. He took our wine/drink order, and then disappeared for another 15/20 minutes. Again, many empty tables, what is the hold up? No clue.. no apology, just carried on like this was the every day experience. We had clam chowder (REALLY good), Alligator Bites (soggy, cold, and chewy but flavor was good). The house salad was really very tasty... but the garlic/cheese rolls were burnt and tasted like ash - disappointing at the least. Main courses were good, but I felt the portion size on the Mahi to be unusually small. I ordered it blackened, and while it was really under-seasoned to be called "blackened" it was still tasty - small, but tasty. The side, broccoli casserole, was very good. Overall, for the price point, I was REALLY let down by the apathetic and slow service. He never even asked how everything was. No manager came by the table, and no hostess even said goodbye on our way out. Total let down, for something I had been looking forward to for a while. As I said, my first and last visit.
Lenny was our server. Super nice and very good with my mom that we brought. Explained food and wine and drinks well. Place was busy. Get reservations. Place is casual or you can dress up. Great fish.
Service was okay but good was delivered cold. Obvious problems in the kitchen. We a
Manager and waitress tried to make it right, but too many other options to want to go back
Food and service was very good however it took 45 minutes to get in even with the reservation.
All was very good except two of the three meals all beef were not cooked correctly way off the menu is extensive value very good
Everything was great!
