Food took 2 hours, it was after 9 to get food, we were leaving when they finally brought it. Place was not 1/2 full. My scampi was horrible, over cooked.... in a broiler dish. Shrimp so tough they were very hard. Then “lump crab” on top was a scoop of crab cake batter thrown in broiler dish and drowned in butter. It was like a hard shrimp mush soup. It was awful. Wife had trigger fish , was OK & over cooked also. Will NEVER go back
We really enjoyed FishBones. The food was delicious and Brian our server was excellent.
The manager greeted us and welcomed us to Fishbones with a small complimentary appetizer. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We had a delicious dinner and we plan to try happy hour in the near future. A terrific restaurant for a quiet dinner or for a celebration of a special occasion.
Have dined here many times since this establishment opened. There has been a general decline in almost every aspect - most importantly: the food, the service, and overall guest treatment. The decline has been most notable over the last 18-24 months.
We had a long dinner nearly 2.5 hours, the waitress was slow and our service although friendly was not worth the price of the meal. We really wanted to stay for dessert but truly just ran out of time... The last time we went we had a great time and great service, this time was not so good.
This was my first time at Fish Bones. Our reservation was for 6:30 and taking into account that this was a Saturday evening, we found the service to be much slower than expected. The menu was just OK -- for a fish place the selection of fish and seafood was adequate but not exciting. We were a party of 3 and we all had different salads. My daughter had the unlimited house salad that again was just OK. My husband (birthday boy) had their wedge salad and it was overly onion-y both in the dressing and in the salad -- where is that wonderful blue cheese?? I had the Caesar which was soaking in the dressing -- I sent it back asking for a lot less and got it back after quite a bit of time sloppily dressed on the same plate and still overdressed!! The entres again were good but our crab cakes were mealy -- not lumped! My daughter's fish special of the evening was better but certainly not worth the $50. I understand the happy hour is supposed to be great and I may try that in the future but NOT the restaurant!! Sad experience for the money!!
Great bar area with some good "starter" foods, friendly bartenders and the best happy hour.
Wide varied menu with lots of choices. Food is excellent.
It was nice to not be rushed. The dinner was relaxing. We felt like we were guests for the evening, not like a table that needed to be flipped. Nice ambiance. Nice staff. Great, fresh selections.
Not happy at all!! We arrived with an extra person in our party,5 instead of 4. They put us at a small table. Said they were booked for the larger tables near us. Saying they were going to be used in the next 15 min. When we left there were still open tables. The steak was cool and the dirty martini had to much olive juice after I was specific about just a dash!
Fantastic experience as always!
We had 8:15 reservations got drinks and aps at 9:15. Sent 3 of 4 entrees back for not being cooked properly. Understand new Mgmt took over recently- won’t be back
Food veery Good! Cocktail + Drinks terrible, watered down and substituting Name Brands with their own Call Brand!!!!!
I have been to Fish Bones for Happy Hour and Dinner. The dinner was good but I think happy hour food is so much better.
I rather not say but will say we will most likely not return which is saying something seeing how we’ve been coming since it’s opening in the mid 2000s. Sadly a downward slide seems that it’s unstoppable at this point.
Was Calentines day, so we were late getting seated, but as always the food and service were great.
We had the choice of FishBones or Ocean Prime, the value and variety was better at FishBones. We usually choose Ocean Prime but Im glad we chose to try FishBones. The food was incredible the calamari, crab cakes and lamb chops were delicious. The cocktails were tasty and strong. My lamb chops were so tender it was like biting into bread. The service was unmatched, our waiter was attentive and prompt. The ambiance was nice, dim and quiet. Just an overall great experience. We will definitely be back soon.
We gave FishBones a try for Valentine's Day Dinner & we are so glad we did! Our waiter Xavier was very attentive, all our of food was fantastic, & we sat on the patio where they had entertainment. We will definitely be back.
Had reservations on Valentine's Day and when I checked in they asked me to come back 30 minutes past the reservation time. It was already a late reservation since availability was limited. This ended up leading to a fight between my significant other and I. Very horrible night, some type of compensation should be issued.
I made reservations for 8:00pm, got there on time but had to Waite for 45 minute for my table, question I have what’s point of making reservation
? (in my case one weeks in advance).
I’ve eaten there a dozen times before and the food and service was great . I went there for Valentines Day this year from previous experience and it was disappointing. The wait time was over 1 hour past our reservation, while they kept pushing us to the bar, not for our benefit. The wait staff was rude , I understand they overbooked, but they could have handled it better. My spouses steak came out cold, I didn’t even complain as it would have extended our stay. The service where they seated us was great . I was really surprised by the over all experience.
