I love that they don't try to push you out the door. You can relax have a few drinks then order dinner. Their food is top-notch. I like the add-on options for your dinners or your steaks. They also have a great Happy hour if you want to venture out to the patio. The only bad thing I would have to say about it is it such a nice restaurant that it should happen better view for you but the location does not supply a view.
Had an off night for sure. Very very very slow service. We had to ask several times to check on our courses. Several dishes had to be sent back. Some items completely wrong, some were ice cold. Not sure whats going on but I hope they fix it.
One of our favorite seafood places to eat. But wishing they'd put back some favorites on the menu. Or an option to leave off sauces without changing full price.
Great experience - had a table full of out of town clients and everyone was raving about the food and service!! Will be back!!
Food and waiters are outstanding.
Very disappointed in food. Out of state family visiting. They wanted seafood but not a chain.
WE told them it would be worth the wait. The only food that was good was the stone crab and sushi. My chicken (and my cousins ) were both tasteless. Her husband was kind enough tosay his was "OK". Their daughter got chicken tenders that were almost black from either dirty oil or over cooking. None of the 3 females ate our dinner. My and my husbands bill alone was $128.00 with tip!!!!
NOT HAPPY especially since we told them this was so great.
Wonderful atmosphere and food is always great. Usually have seafood but went for the prime rib and it was delicious. One of our favorite go to places in the area.
Our waitress, Jasmine was excellent. She offered up suggestions but never got pushy. Great Time
Service was exceptional on a busy night. The absolute best fried shrimp I have had in my life. The wood fire carrots were heavenly. Amazing atmosphere! Loved it! Will definitely return!
Food was just ok, definately not exceptional. Service was very good. Would return, but probably not for dinner, happy hour for sure!
Great meal! Great service! Fabulous restaurant!! We are from out of town but we eat here EVERY time we come to this area!
Surf and turf and filet mignon was excellent; baked potato heavily salted on outside; good veggies; great wine; great dessert. They catered to one of us who was on a low sodium diet. We sat inside between sushi bar and outside windows. Very cool "outdoor" bar and seating area (can be closed off with curtains) with small "firepits" at each table.
Their menu has significantly changed since the last time we ate. no more wassabi glazed fish..
The food was just so average for the price. You can go across the street for the same price and get a fantastic meal. Should have. got a baked potato it was covered in salt - manger swapped it which was nice. there are better places nearby.
Long wait for water and bread, waiter was slow and unprepared, wait staff (including manager) not attentive to our needs. Very poor customer service, steaks not cooked to how we asked for it.
We have eaten there over 30 times and this was the worst. They even gave me the wrong menu, from what other 3 in party had.
Servíce was exceptional and portions were sizable. Ambiance was very nice. I’m not a huge fan of fish so I likely wouldn’t come back. I think overall it was a bit overpriced when compared to my enjoyment of my meal.
It was very busy but we only waited a few minutes to be seated with a reservation. Special of the day was excellent....fillet and Madagascar shrimp. It was somewhat noisy for a romantic dinner as it was our anniversary
my wife, Grouper was dry cold and no souse when served. My prime rib was like rubber and had taste of fuel .
Not what I expected out of a $120 dinner with drinks. Our course the Wine and Vodka was ok
One of our favorite restaurants BUT kitchen was slow. We had reservations and still had to wait 30 min. Our entrees came to table an hour after sitting down! Very noisy. Steak was over-done but we didn't complain because we didn't want to wait another hour. Shrimp were wonderful.
Wonderful experience as usual.
We arrived early and were made to wait until 5+ minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Our two servers, Alex and Heather, were excellent. One order came out with the wrong side item, another had undercooked fish. We spoke with a manager about our experience, and he adjusted our bill and invited us to return. While they made it right, something is wrong at this restaurant. Several months ago, we had another bad experience having to cut fish with a steak knife. Is it the kitchen or is it management?
Out of 6 plates, 3 went back to the kitchen. Prime rib is an advertised specialty of this location however 2 where highly overcooked and dry. The replacements where much better prepared. Filet ordered Oscar style, not prepared as such, just brought out a filet. Server brought out extra desert not ordered gave two deserts to one person she thought ordered both, when told that it was not ordered, no attempt was made to remove or take it back.
Other than replacing the meals no concessions where made by the manager who had been involved.
I have eaten at this location on many occasions as it is close to the house. Out of the last three attempts 2 where what I consider to be well below standard for the value. Unless you are dining with one of their well publicized coupon meals, you may want to think twice.
Next dinner or event I plan to spend around $100+ pp I will go across the street to Ruths Chris, which the one time they ever let me down they went up and beyond to correct the issue, which I considered excellent customer service. Had Fish Bones done the same, this would have been a much different review.
Server was good and food was great.. it seems certain people get treated better than other, we had a 5.30 reservation, we waited almost 15 min to be seated and many people came after us and got seated and then they put us in the back ,where all the waiters were keying in there orders and very nosy , we moved our seat .. and 3 other people moved there seat ...
Our go-to restaurant for special occasions, whether birthday, anniversary, or just dining with good friends.
IDC ran a nice promotion but the dinners were very expensive.
We recently had a rather disappointing experience. I had family visiting from out of state and we had made reservations there to celebrate a birthday.
Our service was fine but the entrees took almost an hour to arrive at our table. One of the items was inedible due to being "left on the fire" far too long.
Management was apologetic and offered another entree but we had already been there for 2 hours and had to get going.
The restaurant was surprisingly noisy.
Although the bar was empty, we were not invited to a cocktail there while waiting for our table to be prepared. We stood in the entry way much like a Denny's or Perkins.
Overall it was not on par with our expectations. We now have concerns about returning to some of the other locations in this restaurant group. We will not return to the Lady Lake location.
It was very good. The clam chowder is the best ever. The food took 30 minutes to be served. Two of the 4 rounds of drinks took to much time. The manager passed two times around our table to ask about how we feel. The waiter was nice but need more training. The waiters clothing needs to be more presentable, no ironing and too tight. Also, if they have long hair it should be picked up.
We had reservations and arrived 5 minutes prior it, but we waited like 10 minutes to be seated after the reservation time. They never offer us to sit on the bar to wait and there are no seats for waiting.
Overall is a very nice restaurant with excellent food, nice waiters and hosts.
Just need to be a little bit more corresponding with the fine dinning parameters.
Definitely want to be back to have the clam chowder again and have that Rib eye steak.
We were having dinner 10
Friends and we won’t go back. Food was average but pricy and the glass of wine that the waitress recomended to some of my friends was $17 for a glass of Pinot noir she never said it, on the menú the Pinot noir goes from $8-$14 a glass.
The food was outstanding. The artichoke appetizer is something I would order every time I go there. The manager also gave us another appetizer on the house because it was my birthday. Our waitress was very very good. The only thing that none of our party cared for was the grilled carrots. Three of us got them as an alternative to potatoes for our side and were disappointed in the fact that they seemed to have no flavor. When I go again, I will upgrade the side or just get the potatoes.
Food took 2 hours, it was after 9 to get food, we were leaving when they finally brought it. Place was not 1/2 full. My scampi was horrible, over cooked.... in a broiler dish. Shrimp so tough they were very hard. Then “lump crab” on top was a scoop of crab cake batter thrown in broiler dish and drowned in butter. It was like a hard shrimp mush soup. It was awful. Wife had trigger fish , was OK & over cooked also. Will NEVER go back
We really enjoyed FishBones. The food was delicious and Brian our server was excellent.
The manager greeted us and welcomed us to Fishbones with a small complimentary appetizer. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We had a delicious dinner and we plan to try happy hour in the near future. A terrific restaurant for a quiet dinner or for a celebration of a special occasion.
Have dined here many times since this establishment opened. There has been a general decline in almost every aspect - most importantly: the food, the service, and overall guest treatment. The decline has been most notable over the last 18-24 months.
We had a long dinner nearly 2.5 hours, the waitress was slow and our service although friendly was not worth the price of the meal. We really wanted to stay for dessert but truly just ran out of time... The last time we went we had a great time and great service, this time was not so good.
This was my first time at Fish Bones. Our reservation was for 6:30 and taking into account that this was a Saturday evening, we found the service to be much slower than expected. The menu was just OK -- for a fish place the selection of fish and seafood was adequate but not exciting. We were a party of 3 and we all had different salads. My daughter had the unlimited house salad that again was just OK. My husband (birthday boy) had their wedge salad and it was overly onion-y both in the dressing and in the salad -- where is that wonderful blue cheese?? I had the Caesar which was soaking in the dressing -- I sent it back asking for a lot less and got it back after quite a bit of time sloppily dressed on the same plate and still overdressed!! The entres again were good but our crab cakes were mealy -- not lumped! My daughter's fish special of the evening was better but certainly not worth the $50. I understand the happy hour is supposed to be great and I may try that in the future but NOT the restaurant!! Sad experience for the money!!
Great bar area with some good "starter" foods, friendly bartenders and the best happy hour.
Wide varied menu with lots of choices. Food is excellent.
It was nice to not be rushed. The dinner was relaxing. We felt like we were guests for the evening, not like a table that needed to be flipped. Nice ambiance. Nice staff. Great, fresh selections.
Not happy at all!! We arrived with an extra person in our party,5 instead of 4. They put us at a small table. Said they were booked for the larger tables near us. Saying they were going to be used in the next 15 min. When we left there were still open tables. The steak was cool and the dirty martini had to much olive juice after I was specific about just a dash!
Fantastic experience as always!
We had 8:15 reservations got drinks and aps at 9:15. Sent 3 of 4 entrees back for not being cooked properly. Understand new Mgmt took over recently- won’t be back
Food veery Good! Cocktail + Drinks terrible, watered down and substituting Name Brands with their own Call Brand!!!!!
