Fun atmosphere, great Bar and friendly service particularly our server and Shannon at the Bar
Kat did a great job of serving us! The food was delicious as always. The only issue was at the end of our meal while we were waiting for our check, a table in our line of sight had an altercation with a woman who walked by to go to the restroom and didn’t have a mask on. The manager was attentive to the situation but I was surprised that people would swear and be obnoxious in such a lovely restaurant. And the ‘unmasked’ woman had been a the table right next to the loud swearing people without their masks.
So sad that this has to occur in such a lovely restaurant. In normal times, best place to eat in Lake Mary.
This was our indulgence for January and the food did not disappoint. In fact, we all declared it the best meat we had eaten in a very long time. we did not have a starter since we no longer care to eat more than 1 course. The medium rare Prime Rib was perfect for those who ordered it so. Much to my joy, an end piece was still available - I wanted it medium. Once again, perfection. The salads were crisply fresh, the vegetables not over cooked. Service was prompt, respectful and helpful. All in all, a place to visit again - hopefully soon!
These people do not know how to handle when their is busy. The food is great but the service is just terrible every time it’s remotely busy
Ask for a quite table & was not seat @ one. Entrées were brought out way too early. We had just started our salads! Had to box up to bring hm!
Great meal as always and equally good service. Steaks and lamb chops are as good as any steak house not to mention the seafood. Cauliflower side is amazing!
Very expensive but very good food. Service better than most but not fabulous.
This is my favorite place to go when I have visitors. Service and food are always excellent. Whether you go Fish or Steak you really can't go wrong. Try the chowder!
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The lobster appetizer, pitched as a special, was rubbery and should not have been served. The whole snapper was raw and was sent back and not reordered. The NY Strip steak, ordered Pittsburgh style, was served totally bare on the plate with no garnish whatsoever, not inviting or up to the standards of a quality restaurant. Although seered nicely, it was completely raw inside. On the positive side, the salads were very good. The manager comped the appetizer and the raw snapper, but the bill was still high for what turned out to be a miserable dining experience.
We enjoyed fresh, great-tasting seafood and wonderful service once again!!
The atmosphere was also relaxing. It was very busy yet still quiet.
We also loved our table where we could view the beautiful fountains and torches along the side of the restaurant.
A great night out!! 👍🏻👍🏻
The service was very poor. Everything came out too fast. We didn't finish our appetizers when the salads arrived. Didn't finish the salad when the main dishes appeared. Ordered drinks that we had to remind the waitress to get for us. Should have been told how large the ceasar salad was as well as the wedge salad. Way too large.
Food quality and environment was great (I'd give it 5 stars) but the service was a little slow. That's the part they can improve on.
We are staying at the Marriott and I’m so happy we found out about this amazing restaurant! We’ve now been 2 days in a row and I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a Variety from seafood to steaks to even sushi! And the staff is truly special! Coming from nyc we have tons of great restaurants but can’t wait to return one day here!
We had such a wonderful experience at FishBones. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. We sat outside and were celebrating our wedding anniversary. William was helpful, knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. We also appreciated the individual hand sanitizers and extra sanitizing precautions you took. We will definitely be back soon.
Overall good experience but seems to lack service when it gets busy. Salad was below par from usual. No bread tol the very end of the meal. Lacks some management when busier cycles occur it seems.
Not a great experience. Service was very slow and server had a poor attitude. Food was not properly prepared. Ordered the grilled artichoke appetizer and had to send it back because it was cold. Was also cold the second time it came out. Lamb was requested to be medium rare and it came out very rare - not able to eat portions of it. Took forever for desserts to come out to the table. The draw for us was the key lime pie. Having to wait for it to come out was disappointing. This restaurant that used to be a favorite. Will not return for dinner.
For the price of the items on the menu, still not sure what we were paying for. Wife and I had soda to drink, as mixed drinks were $13 plus, and it was flat. Asked for another and it was also flat. Waiter stated they only had soda in bottles. Kabob I had, for $30, was worthy of maybe $10. Seems you are paying for the name and not for the quality of the food.
Food was amazing. Service terribly slow especially between courses. Opted out of dessert as seating to dessert was 2 HOURS & 30 MINUTES!!!
Cackling bar clientele was also horrible...😐
The food and ambiance was amazing. And at first the service was too. But as soon as our waiter got a large table beside us, it was like he completely forgot about our table. very disappointing to pay the amount of money we did (our bill for 2 was over $200) and receive the service (or should I say lack thereof) that we did. One doesn't mind paying for good food and ambiance but for these prices, good service is expected.
Server Mike from West Virginia did an awesome job for us!
good food and great servixe.
Our reservation was for 7:45, it was closer to 8:20 when we were seated. Not a great experience from that perspective. Then when we paid we had to go find someone to get us our receipt as we elected to have a receipt printed vs. emailed.
Best steaks around! Amazing food.
Overall, I love this restaurant. All the food I've eaten there has been great. This time I had grouper and it was perfect, as was the whole snapper I got last time I went. The cauliflower is to die for and we get it as an app to share with my brother and sister-in-law when we go. The reason I only gave 4 stars for food and service this time was because my husband ordered the chicken breast and said it wasn't fabulous. Of course, why go to a fish restaurant and order chicken? But, it is what it is. Last time he got the prime rib and said it was sublime. Live and learn. As for the service, last time it was terrific. This time, after delivering the salads, our server disappeared and my husband wanted more salad dressing. We managed to stop a manager who was walking by and she said she would get it, but ended up being distracted by an emergency and forgot. She made up for it by comping us a desert, which I must say was pretty darn delicious, too. It was the chocolate cake, in case you're curious. I would order it again, if I didn't mind gaining a pound from it. Anyway, all in all, I would recommend this restaurant and especially, the cauliflower. It has this creamy cheesy topping that I dream about. We will be going again. Everyone is entitled to a bad day. Oh, I forgot to mention that they have a heated patio which makes me happy since I'm terribly paranoid about catching Covid and will only eat outside at restaurants. And, they had live music which we enjoyed, as well.
The service was not on top of it that night. No drinks or water for at least 20 minutes.
I’ve frequented this location quite often and this was the first time that my service was terrible. Everything was very delayed. It took 30 minutes to get our dessert and even though the server was aware it was a birthday, they did not add a candle or plate the dessert the way it typically is done for a birthday. We had to make multiple requests for things and a few times we didn’t even receive what was requested.
The food was really good. The portions are really big so sharing is encouraged. Everyone was wearing a mask but they didn’t block any of the tables so you do sit close to others. The service was good but it did take a little bit of time because they were busy so it was to be expected. Overall it’s a nice place to have dinner.
Server was excellent throughout.
Sushi appetizer was very good.
Entrees were a *little* over cooked but not worth sending it back over that.
Price was a bit high but that’s what you expect when you go there.
Overall, was a good time.
Celebrating my Fathers birthday and had a very nice dining experience. Joseph, our server was wonderful. The Triggerfish was exceptional
The music was very good except when it was playing the strage sound that remonds me of a radio that is "off the station".
the steak that our dining guest initially received was raw inside. After telling the server, the steak came back burnt like charcoal. Could not be eaten
Abraham, David, Henry & Holly Anne provided outstanding service!

Fantastic food and service. So grateful for outside seating
Best seafood in town. Amazing quality, winning service and amazing atmosphere.
We had to wait outside (standing) for 35 minutes even with reservations. Other than the first order of wine and appetizers, the main course order and drinks were totally wrong and management didn't seem to be concerned. We are 10 year patrons of FishBones and this, by far, was the worst experience ever. Due to the availability of other fine dining restaurants in the Orlando area, we won't be returning to FishBones. We are not complainers but when a legitimate complaint is registered then management needs to get involved and my opinion is that FishBones management for 12/21/2020 was less than concerned. Sad but when one is considering spending $200 for two, then getting orders right is a basic expectation.
We are local and we always love dining here! Service is stellar, food is amazing, and the outdoor patio leaves nothing g to be desired!
Great service!!!!
Always a great experience but the staff went above and beyond to make NYE even more special
Absolutely wonderful experience. Terrific food, attentive white staff, terrific ambience. They handle social distancing very well. The food was absolutely perfect. And you get a lot of it. Although it might seem expensive you’re going to be going home with a bag full so it’s worth it. We had a couple of special requests for food preparation and everything was handled exactly as we asked. Terrific dinner.
New Years Eve. Great food and service. Loud but you have to expect that for NYE. Seated within 30 mins of reservation. Complimentary wine as we waited. We will definitely go back on a non-holiday. Dang bang shrimp is outstanding!!
