usually I find this place pretty good, we had two good dishes and our guest had a dish that had not been cooked .ie raw fish he sent it back , it ruined a perfectly good evening .
Below average service from wait staff, everything else was great. Staff could be more attentive, seems like they’re all young and not always professional.
Had a wonderful dinner sitting by the rail. Entertainment was excellent. Highly recommend
This restaurant is one of our staples in Naples. It always lived up to our expectations and never disappointed. Not so on our last visit: It appears that there is a new chef and a new menu. We selected the sushi boat and it was a bad choice. The rice was old, the fish looked and tasted not fresh and the overall appearance was very amateurish. Fish used to have a commendable sushi selection. Our dish looked as it was ordered in a supermarket and assembled in the kitchen. The manager handled the situation correctly and the service was friendly except that a few links need to be worked out. Regular water should not be poured on top of sparkling water!
Service was okay. One of our dinners came out cold and it was never addressed with a management staff coming over to see what was wrong. We then went to walk out and had to ask for our bill. Poor management staff.
We were saddened to find out that we couldn’t order your delicious sushi. We’re from Ohio and frequently visit.
We have been there about a year ago and now it’s been looking forward to it
We loved it! Went for Thanksgiving. I had sushi, which was excellent. My wife had twin lobster tails, which she loved. We also asked for a "taste" of the stuffing, and my wife said it was the best she had ever had. Our drinks were great, our server was excellent, and our bayside table was perfect.
Thank you so much for for your patronage and are so happy you enjoyed everything! We look forward to seeing you again! FISH Management
Was very disappointed in the outdoor table that we were given and asked to be move...that never happened. When the store that we were sitting in front of closed and turned off their inside lights we were eating in total darkness.
We love Fish. We dine early, it isn’t jammed, service is adequate and food excellent. Beautiful outdoor dining and quiet enough for conversation.
Very disappointed that they did away with the bar menu
Our dinner was absolutely amazing. New chef - Updated menu. Loved both the crab cake and tuna tartare as appetizers. Kudos ~ you are now my favorite Venetian Bay restaurant!
Although there were very few diners at lunch (main dining room was completely empty and the outside seating was only 1/4 full), the delivery of our food was very slow. When it was delivered, my fried crab cake was barely warm.
The restaurant is beautiful. On the water with a very nice design and decor. Food not so great. Portions are enormous. Too much food. My fish was over seasoned and overcooked. The sides were undercooked. Potatoes were not raw but definitely not roasted. My wife’s fish was overcooked but potatoes were great. Really puzzled about that.
Then the price. At these prices, I expect excellent fish, instead it was overcooked and over seasoned. There are plenty of restaurants in town that would offer better food and great service for the same price.
Lemoncello was outstanding.
Friends from out of town
Loved the outdoor dining and seafood!
My husband and I came here with friends from Indiana, Boston and we are from NY. We absolutely love everything about Fish Restaurant!! They have changed their menu. Our friends from Boston had been to Fish before. They loved the Shrimp Scampi which is no longer on the menu. They asked the server if the chef would make it special and she said she would ask. The chef said no problem. Needless to say our friends were very, very happy. Four of us had the stuffed grouper absolutely delicious. My husband had the Veal Chop and it was perfection. I would recommend Fish to anyone interested in having delicious food, with beautiful ambiance
We have come for many winters and brought guests. We came this evening and the food was not the
quality we have had in the past. The crab cakes had little crab and lots of filler, the chicken malenase was dry and chewy and the vegetables had no taste. I understand from the server that you have changed chefs. As of now we certainly not be returning.
Wonderful location and delicious foods!!
Everything good. The menu has changed with a new chef . Disappointed they no longer offer Maine lobster
Steamed or boiled only baked.☹️
The new menu, new staff, and new look have raised Fish from good to great. This was the best meal we’ve had off-season in Naples in a long time.
In the past we had given up on Mira mare and fish Restaurant however decided to give it another try. I’m glad we did. Food was good service good however a little bit of red tide in the air since we had chosen to sit outside . Definitely will go back but depends on red tide as to if we eat inside or outside
Lobster bisque was great. Sushi was in line with most other places in Naples. Octopus app didn’t match the description at all but was nicely cooked. Dinner (Branzino) was completely flavorless, as were the sides. Server didn’t comment on the plate being nearly untouched but did offer to box it up for us. Expected much more for the cost.
As a regular diner there, was disappointed to find out that their happy our to 6:30pm was shortened to 5 pm. Also, looks like entree prices have increased by 25-30% since the spring!! No justification for that, will reduce dining there significantly in the future.
Good service, lovely waterfront setting, but the menu was just not that appealing to both my husband and I. It was seafood based, but still heavy with the fish either stuffed or sauced. There were no lighter grilled fish type options. We would not go back, and we are not generally picky eaters (although we like gourmet food).
The crab cake was amazing; I had never had it there before. I got the Branzino for my entree and was very happy with it. Our waitress was training and was very attentive, she did a great job. The singer there tonight was fabulous.
Our server was outstanding. Only on the job a few weeks but very professional.
I am not happy with the changes in the menu or the waitstaff.
Not nearly as friendly as it was this summer.
Beautiful setting, good menu and service. I think entrees are overpriced and that makes me inclined to visit less
I found FISH Restaurant online. The reviews were great so I booked a reservation to celebrate my friend's birthday.
We sat by the ceiling-to-floor windows and had a great view of the water. The live music for that night was a gentleman who had a beautiful voice. Service was outstanding.
The slight disappointment was my twin lobster tails. They were overcooked so they were rubbery, however, the truffle fries and vegetables were delicious. My friend ordered the scallops which were cooked perfectly.
I think FISH is a special occasion restaurant because of the menu prices. However, if your budget allows, it's a great place for dinner anytime.
Food was tasteless and overpriced
We had a very nice meal and the food was OK. Nothing to complain about. Prices were a bit high for fish and chips. Drink was water down.
Food was ok. Seems like the quality was better a few years ago. It wasn’t bed...but just “ok”, and the price was higher than just “ok”.
We have dined here before and always great.
The butter poached grouper was grilled not poached and had very little flavor. If I had closed my eyes and tasted it I would not have known what I was eating. The sushi was mediocre, not fresh, not much flavor except the Hamachi was really good, but, there was very little of it on the plate. The spicy tuna was so spicy it was inedible. The prices were very high so we were expecting a wonderful meal and left totally unsatisfied and underwhelmed. I hate wasting money on a bad meal.
Did not like the current menu as well as the older one.
Our waiter, Daniel, was very professional, courteous and attentive without interrupting our dinner. He paid attention to details, such as filling water glasses in a timely manner. We shared the octopus appetizer, excellent, cooked to perfection. Sea scallops, entree, with sauteed spinach and rice was prepared and presented very nicely with a serving of bread. Caesar salad with optional anchovies was fresh and lightly dressed. The dessert menu had several options, but we passed because Key Lime pie was not one of them. Very enjoyable atmosphere, comfortable outdoor space, fabulous intercoastal water view.
Since it's summer here, we're used to specials or really good deals with the restaurants. But it seems this year that isn't the case, along with other restaurants. So it seemed a little pricey to us. However, the food was good and the atmosphere was lovely outside by the water. And the staff was very efficient.
Nice quiet lunch off season. The food was excellent.
Excellent dinner! The food and service were great. The tuna tartare was delicious. Every component of our entrée was excellent. There wasn’t one bad bite. I was a little disappointed that cheesecake was on the dessert menu but they were out of it. It didn’t ruin the experience, and we probably didn’t need it anyway!
Every time we visit Naples, we eat at the Fish. Staff, food, ambiance excellent.
