We were early, and were the only ones in the main room, though there were people seated outside and at the bar. Food was delicious and a woman with a beautiful voice was the entertainment. I would imagine that the place is packed during season.
Bar Menu was great. We had a salmon dish, We will be back.
Food was old. Lobster bisque was so old it was brown. Old bread. Server was crabby.
It was very nice, but the service was quite slow. The restaurant wasn’t very busy and I expected our meals would come considerably faster than they did.
Arrived early during happy hour and the hostess was not around. Another staff member helped us but didn't know how to access the reservation program. We decided to sit in the bar area and take advantage of happy hour prices. We swat away flies while waiting to be helped by what seemed to be a distracted bartender. After a few minutes she gave us menus and took our drink orders in a rushed fashion. The wait time wasn't too notable, but it was hard to understand the timing when the place was empty at around 6pm. Food was fine. We had sushi apps and didn't get ill despite the flies. We ended up heading over to M waterfront for our main dinner which was wonderful.
The view, service, food and location were outstanding. We enjoyed our time there. Staff was top notch.
We always enjoy Fish and it was as we expected.
We were sat and never greeted. We waited 20 minutes and left.
There must be many restaurants that would be as good or better than this one. Our dinner was fine, and our waiter was attentive. But the restaurant sat us (2) immediately next to a loud 4-person table, with many other tables open, just to put us at a 2-top table, I think. The prices were higher that expected for the quality of the food, with most menu items sold a la cart (i.e. pay more to get veggies, etc.). All in all, not worth the 30 minute drive to get there.
The first time I came to FISH was about two years ago and I had the (gluten free version) of the sesame encrusted tuna with shaved fennel salad and it was one of the finest tuna entree’s I have ever had. I have been back twice and ordered the same entree and was disappointed each time. The first time, the fennel salad was seasoned beautifully and the wasabi cream sauce was delicious. In the two times since, the fennel salad was not a salad at all. It was shaved fennel thrown on as a garnish and the wasabi cream sauce did not have and flavor as well. I was happy to be provided with gluten free soy sauce, but this was nothing like the first meal I had there. I love the location and the service was wonderful. If I do come back, I will not order the tuna.
Nice evening out. My artichoke salad was excellent. Our branzino was good but not outstanding.
Friends liked grouper and the clam pasta entre.
Personally like it more for lunch but it is so nice to eat next to the water!
Food was good but not excellent. Our server, Georgy, was very good. Attentive, courteous, helpful. He made our evening more enjoyable. We had a shrill, noisy guest at the table next to us. And a smoker at a table close by. Upon inquiring of staff I was told smoking is ‘not permitted’, but the guy lit up at least twice. We were dining outside, but still the cigarette smoke was noticeable and persistent. It affected our enjoyment of the evening.
Excellent overall ! Perfect outside seating
nice place to dine and look at the water , service is good , food is usually good , some dishes are mediocre . baked oysters overdone , could only taste the cheese ,,,other dishes were pretty good
The staff were helpful and friendly. I was my wife birthday and they greeted her when we arrived with Happy Birthday greetings. They also brought her complimentary teramisu. Food and service were excellent.
We love Fish. Beautiful setting, good service and food.
We sat outside by the water for Easter dinner. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was wonderful! 😃
We sat by Venetian Bay in the shade. My Wife ordered the Lobster Ravioli and I have the Lobster FraDiavlo.
Both dishes were exquisite. Highly recommended, will dine there again.
We enjoyed a lovely Easter dinner. Our server was excellent. The food was delicious! Thank you!
Great food, excellent service, and nice atmosphere. We will come back!
The waiter at fish Mike could not have been any more professional. The food and surrounding was very good.
Out waiter, Michael, was excellent. He was attentive and timed the courses well. Our table had oysters, burrata salad, caesar salad, lobster tails, lobster ravioli, sushi and scallops with saffron risotto. Everything was fresh and delicious!
Food quality has changed. Miniscule branzino portion for >$30. Just not the same Fish.
While my group found the food delicious, the service was spotty and inattentive. It was very crowded the evening we were there that even outdoors was noisy. A couple of people had cocktails at the bar before dinner and did enjoy the ambiance of that area.
The food was just ok. Nothing special. Was expecting a little more craftsmanship.
We had an exceptionally good dinner this time, and a lovely day to be on the water. Service was prompt, the food prepared to order, but next time we would request a different salad dressing (on the side).
Afogato dessert was also excellent.
Haven't been to Fish for a while, we decided to have a lesiurely lunch by the water
Food arrived - partially cold
My wife returned her dish for rewarming & by the time it was returned, I almost finished my own lunch
Value vs servings & quality missed the mark
Loved it, we ate outside overlooking the bay and it was a gorgeous night. The food was great.
Food was ok but the service was very poor. It wasn’t that busy but our waiter seemed to forget about us. The outdoor deck on the water was very relaxing but with all the choices we have to dine I’ll try others.
Excellent dinning experience, great atmosphere!
We ate the food drank the wine burped and payed the bill
The ambiance was perfect! The food was mediocre with service that was inattentive. Many of our items came out wrong. Loved the view just not the food. However the salmon was delicious I would give the salmon 5 stars.
The Caesar salad was very good, but the lobster ravioli was excellent! The service was great. The view of the bay was beautiful and relaxing.
Fish is one of the few Naples restaurants that is actually on a body of water. Not the Gulf but an attractive canal with boats coming and going, adding to the experience. The menu selections are generous including a separate sushi menu. Obviously any of the fish dishes are excellent. Service is attentive without being stifling and portions and pours generous. Plus there’s valet parking which makes the entire experience that much more enjoyable. Since it’s mostly outdoors be aware that there can be a smoker sitting nearby. Not sure what the law is on this in Florida but once we found ourselves downwind from one there was a vote to leave earlier than we might have. If there’s no smoking then the staff failed to police it.
FISH is a lovely waterside restaurant in the Village on Venetian Bay. It has 3 dining areas (indoors, outdoors, bar) and some couches for outdoor casual seating. Menu features sushi rolls, fish, pasta, salads, meats plus good mixed drink and wine selections. For location and food quality, prices are within mid-range for attractive Naples location.
Wonderful service!!!!!! Great lobster sushi.. wonderful outdoor dining!!!!!!!
Poor Service. Waiter was not willing to ask chef to alter a dish preparation. No pepper on the table we had to get up and find it. For the person who ordered pasta, no one came around to offer Parma cheese. For the price the food was just OK
Service was not great and the food was okay. Sitting by the water is beautiful though.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, highly recommended a trip to dine there!
Restaurant is in nice location. Table areas not too crowded and pretty quiet. Service was fast and pleasant. Fish meals very good quality and reasonable portion size. Price was somewhat more expensive, about $8 to $10 per meal compared to other similar restaurants. Not really worth the extra.
