The location and server were great. The food was just ok. What you would expect for a touristy place on the water. They advertise happy hour every day 3:30 to 7 but don’t be fooled, it’s just in the bar not in the restaurant.

Very poor experience.
There was absolutely no fish in their poke and we had to send it back to the kitchen... The service was mediocre and the food definitely not worth the price.

Food was Ok (noting unusual ) and very pricy for that quality and quantity of food ( I am from Seattle and I know about seafood meals and prices). But service was very bad (very slow, inattentive), like "Eat and go away". And no even excuse for all those things. I think I will not go to this restaurant again.

At the last minute, late afternoon on Friday, we went to Trip Advisor to find a moderately priced place for seafood for dinner. I was particularly looking for shrimp and crab. The crab tower appetizer didn’t disappoint. I’ve never had an appetizer so full of crab that was more than enough for 2 people to share. It was delicious. My entree, the Alii Skewers had tender chunks of beef that were very flavorful. The rice, mango relish, sauce and sautéed local veggies accompanied the meal excellently. The grilled shrimp too, I just wish they gave you more than 3 shrimp on the skewer because I love shrimp. I don’t usually have dessert because after I’ve had a great meal, I tell myself your stomach is satisfied; don’t do it or don’t add more calories. But, this time I went beyond my usual self- moderation and had a slice of the chocolate cake with passion fruit. First, to my surprise, it was gigantic slice. My husband and I had more than enough to share. Second, it was fantastic! I don’t like desserts that are overly sweet, but this was just right. I’m wondering if the addition of the passion fruit had something to do with somewhat ramping down the sweetness? But, I would definitely order that dessert again.

We were celebrating my husband’s 75th birthday. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing!! We highly recommend! They treated us like we were royalty. A friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We all had the Ono fish which was perfectly cooked. The only thing which is quite minor, was the extremely slippery floors due to all the rain. It was like an ice skating rink. The drinks and desserts were fabulous too! We can’t wait to go back!

I went to the Hopper for Valentine's day with a couple friends; I always in my life have NOT gone out on this holiday due to the crowds and probably should have listened to my heart on this as the experience was less than the usual Hopper experience. First: they were running behind (I had made a reservation weeks in advance), even though I requested a view table I was told I could not have one and was given the WORST table in the restaurant - high traffic right outside the kitchen; I ordered the special dinner for two - oddly there was only one serving of veg and potato but everything else was very tasty. I LOVE this restaurant and will always return, but never again on the special occasion days.

Wonderful romantic evening!!! Valentine's day could not have been better thanks to Fish Hopper Manager Joel and Vicki. Thanks to all for making this such a great night on the town!
