Récemment rénové, First & Oak est situé à l'intérieur du charmant Mirabelle Inn. Le Chef exécutif Steven Snook vous propose un éventail de tapas caractérisés par leur saveur et leur finesse. Le menu est de type californien, doté d'une touche éclectique, tout en étant inspiré par des techniques françaises. Il est également de saison et est conçu de sorte à ce que vous puissiez créer votre propre plat personnalisé. The Chef's Tasting Menu is the signature dining experience at First & Oak - highlighting our most seasonal preparations, featuring produce from the farms in Santa Ynez Valley, seafood from off the California Coast and other local specialties. Chef Ivan Coronel and his team's level of execution and attention to detail is apparent in every dish, offering delicious menu options for each course, allowing guests to engage with the menu each night. Wine pairings are offered along with the Chef's Tasting Menu on a nightly basis. We did the three course fixed price dinner. The tuna was a great appetizer - followed by what was essentially gourmet Mac and Cheese (delicious)! We got two different desserts the cheesecake and the chocolate - both were great. I would return!

We had the 5 course meal and as patrons with high expectations, everything was delicious! A wonderful experience. Service was lovely. We both agreed the wine pairing was subpar, and we should have ordered our own wine. But definitely recommend the meal!

We stayed at Mirabelle Inn so it was convenient to dine there. The food was delicious and unique. It was a fixed menu. You can decide between the three course or five course. My husband and I got the three course and ordered opposite dishes so we could try everything. My meat dish was really good. His halibut was a little dry so the pasta may have been a better choice. The service was wonderful although I do have to say we were the only ones in the small restaurant this Sunday night.

This place is everything it’s meant to be. The food is amazing. Service is impeccable. Pretty casual for a such high level dining and that’s what makes its better.

Beautiful space wonderful service lovely meal. The ladies at the table begging us kind of killed the ambiance with their loud and boisterous conversation which kind of overtook the whole space.. but never the less the experience was great. The roasted cauliflower with truffle and filet was 5 stars and the chocolate mousse with honeycomb was delightful.

We enjoyed our 5 course wine and food pairing immensely! The flavors were extraordinary. First & Oak was a great fine dining experience and we will definitely be back!

Very nice staff all around. Limited menu, but everything was tasty, especially the dessert and amazing bread. Good date spot for grown ups. Wine pairings were solid.

We've been before and this time was not as amazing as our first experience. A lot of a wine paring is the service. Why this wine was serviced with this course, that was lacking. Even an experienced server knows if they had cream with their first cup they will need it with the second. I'm sorry it took so long to get a refill I needed to make a fresh pot after we sat for 20 minutes waiting. Then not to get cream. $600 for 3 people for amazing food and service I have no problem with.
