    Our family went for restaurant week and we all loved our meals. Portions were big and severs were attentive. It was noisy but also happy hour and March Madness in the bar area.

    Excellent value for restaurant week. Appetizers were out of this world. Chocolate dessert was too heavy - just a brick of chocolate ganache. Service was spot on. Overall good experience.

    As always, wonderful people, great food, and nice surroundings overlooking Frederick's main downtown street. Excellent oysters and other starters, wide selection of entrees, and a very thoughtful wine list. We continue to eat at Firestone's at least every week or two...

    The main course was way over priced for what we got... the huge pork chop. Also the brussels sprouts were just about raw and not much to anything else at the meal. Service was very good.

    We arrived a little early for our reservations and were seated quickly. We started with martinis and each ordered a bowl of the onion soup that went very well with the complimentary bread and butter followed by a complimentary tasting of gazpacho soup. Our meal consisted of two dozen fresh oysters. We finished the meal by splitting the bread pudding. The food is consistently 5 star and so is the service!

    We have been to Firestones about once a year since 2014. Every time the food was wonderful. Our last experience was a huge disappointment. The server was awesome and comped our one dinner, but the food itself was extremely expensive and poor quality. We like quality over quantity always, but this had neither. My 34 dollar crab cake dinner was one 3 inch crab cake with maybe 4 tiny pieces of crab and the rest was some kind of scallop mousse filler? Wow..never never h Ave I experience this. Also the dish had half of a handful of bok choy and 1 T of butternut squash purée. Again, the server was awesome! But the food was not.

    As always, the service is outstanding, and the food is excellent and creative. Once again, we had a lovely meal. The new chef carries on Firestone’s tradition of fine dining.

    We've been going there and enjoying their food since 2016. This place has deteriorated over the past couple of years. We gave it another try to see if anything changed but unfortunately it's gotten even worse. the food was mediocre and the service was sooo slow, that we finally got a chance to order drinks after 30 minutes waiting for someone to take an order. Very disappointed.

    Valentine’s Day dinner. Wonderful service, excellent food. Never disappointed when we eat here. They regularly update the menu. We had oysters three ways for our app. Delicious! Our mains were Scallops and the Crab cake. Both dishes were perfectly prepared. The price was very reasonable for fine dining. This is our go to restaurant.

    The food and the service were very good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the portions of food were on the smaller side. Their homemade ice cream was outstanding.

    We had a wonderful Valentines dinner at Firestones. We started with the coconut shrimp which were delicious. I had the scallops and my husband had the duck confit. They were both fantastic! For dessert we shared the date bread pudding; had decaf cappuccinos and enjoyed them very much. Highly recommend Firestones!

    The onion soup with apple cider was absolutely best French Onion soup we've ever had & the meatloaf sandwich is beyond words & we were tempted to take home another sandwich...so great! The service was outstanding & grateful this central coast original California Firestone restaurant & tavern is now in Frederick! Can't wait to return 😍

    The food and service was exceptional, nothing in that respect has changed since we were there last, a year ago. The noise level was high, not an intimate setting for conversation. The one thing that needs to change are the tables and chairs, they’re in dire need of new updated ones. Other than that, always a fabulous meal at Firestones!

    Wonderful pub-style restaurant with an eclectic menu, ranging from cheeseburgers to oysters, steaks and foie gras. Exceptional staff -- this time, Kris was great. Remembered us from last time and made us feel special at a busy Sunday brunch.

    We have gone to Firestones for a very long time and it is our go-to restaurant. We found it to be more noisy than usual for whatever the reason. The food remains good. I think since Covid the menu is a little more limited but that is ok. Quality and service remain high.

    We only recently started going here and have found the food and service consistently great. Our server especially was good - attentive, but not hovering. And, on this evening, when we lingered over coffee a little longer than usual, he never made us feel uncomfortable. A truly classy place with delicious and interesting offerings.

    Great food in a comfortable environment. we went to celebrate our anniversary. I had the duck cassoulet while my wife had the crab cake. We started with some oysters from Virginia. Service was attentive and friendly. Nice selection of wines and some tasty mixed drinks.

    Way over priced. Way too loud! Spent over $600 for party of 6 only to get rushed out the door. Food not that great. Crabcakes were mushy. Took a while to get a drink in the beginning but staff was nice and helpful once we were noticed.

    A densely populated restaurant that seemed crowded for its interior, Firestone's meets expectations as a loud tavern that serves decent drinks and mediocre food. Our server, Kristopher, was exceptionally attentive, positive, and friendly; a high quality server who seems out of place in such an establishment.

    We have been to Firestone a few times before. When we first moved to Frederick my husband surprised me with this place. It’s definitely my go to for a date night. Tonight we had the best service from kris. He was extremely prompt and funny and professional. Thank you sir Everything was amazing. The mussels and the charcuterie. You can’t go wrong.
