Great pizza and beer selection. Good service vibrant atmosphere
Firestone has gone downhill. Used to love this place, but they seem to be catering to a louder, younger, less discerning crowd now.
Service was rediculously terrible. Had to ask for napkins and silverware, twice; had to ask for appetizer plates to share our starters; food came out before napkins, our bill was incorrect, etc.
Our server had zero understanding of the wine list and cocktails. The wine list was fairly pathetic.
My food was fine, nothing special.
I would still recommend this place for drinks during games. Plenty of tvs with good views from just about anywhere.
I was looking for a downtown eatery (close to Sac Community Theater) that I could take my wife
to for a birthday celebration prior to the show. We thought the food was delicious and came in good sized portions. The dessert (Vanilla ice cream, wrapped in carrot cake then deep fried) was out off this world. Server was a young lady named Glen (with one "n"). She was friendly, very Customer Focused and attentive to our needs. Very enjoyable time.
The restaurant was very busy. We reserved a table and they found one for us within 15 minutes. The service was very good, the food arrived promptly and was very tasty.
Food was good. Pizza was outstanding. Service was good but could have been better. Server was very nice but forgot the beer we ordered. Make a reservation if Friday or Saturday, it gets really busy
Great Service with reserved table!
The wait staff were attentive and nice. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious.
Nice pub food. Good beer selection. Service was slow for no particular reason. We weren’t in a hurry so it didn’t really matter.
Outstanding location with great food. Very nice atmosphere.
We went early (4pm) and got seated immediately. Our waiter was great and never made us feel rushed. Very good beer selection. Pizza was good, fish & chips were good. Then there is the dessert. It's called OMG and that is exactly what you say when you see the size of the thing! Carrot cake around ice cream that is deep fried. I was eating for taste the whole time I was eating it and still found it hard to stop. Remember to park in the garage at 17th & L and they will validate your parking.
Good atmosphere and great food! Great place for casual dining.
Server was terrible and not attentive at all and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Empty drink glasses all night and she took 10 mins to greet us after being seated. She delivered the WRONG drink to our table and after 15 mins of waiting we gave up and walked to the bartender to have her fix the right drink. The server has to go. Terrible service and a not-so-friendly attitude.
Great service for a quick business lunch / meeting, LOVED the Pesto BLT and highly recommend the Enchiladas, both very tasty!
Good spot to eat at before a play or movie! It is a bit noisy for conversation though.
Showed up 10 minutes early for my OpenTable reservation but was told the place doesn't take reservations on Friday nights. We were seated in the bar area, which was loud (from the music, as one might expect) although made unbearable by the party of 3 screaming next to us. We asked to move when a dining table opened, but 50 minutes later the group next to us left and our food had arrived. Seems to be a lively sports bar with so-so food. The pizza was pretty disappointing (mostly crust with a very small smattering of toppings); the salmon was good. Decent beer selection. Perhaps a good place to grab a drink while waiting to meet up with people, but next time I'm in the area looking for food, I'll be looking elsewhere.
The food was really good. The waiter was slow and I’m not sure if he had a big table because the restaurant was not that crowded.
The service was okay, the food was average and the music was loud and I had 6 or 7 TVs in view from my seat. It was okay but nothing special.
Chicken club sandwich had very dry chicken and fries were over done. Business colleagues had the same sandwich and all shared the same opinion.
Had GI distress for 2 days after eating there. I think it was the braised short ribs.
Made a reservation and still had to wait 20 min to get a table. Once we were seated, it took about 30 min for pizza to come out. I pledge never to go back there again.
Not much for vegetarians too many fries used as plate fillers
We were seated right away, waiter greeted us and took our drink order. Once we ordered lunch our food came in a timely manner and we were both happy with our choices of a Reuben sandwich and mixed green salad.
Location is wonderful, right between the parking garage and the Theater.
Ambiance was very nice.
We ate the Dine Downtown prix fix menu for 2017. Nice choices. The salad was lovely. Butter lettuce, mandarins, pomegranate, and goat cheese. The filet mignon open face sandwich was great and well received. The chioppino was flavorful but a salt bomb. We did send word to the chef. Each of us only ate half. However, the lemon panacotta with raspberry sauce and fresh berries was the BOMB!!!!! We gobbled the darn thing down in record time! I have been to this restaurant twice. Happy hour was also great and all those dishes were excellent! We had great service both times and prices are very reasonable. Noise level is comfortable even at happy hour.
Great, quick service. Amazing Bloody Mary with slab sliced bacon, spicy optional. Food was exceptional and the environment was fun and easy-going. Seated immediately even on a Saturday afternoon.
This was our first time eating here. We were celebrating our adult sons birthday. We were there for dinner, but we early enough for happy hour appetizers and drinks. Fish and chips and the Ahi tostadas were delicious. The steak sandwich on the dinner menu and the southwest chicken salad also was very good. The service was friendly and prompt.
Looking forward to returning so we can try other items on the menu.
Came here for date night with my wife. Cool sports bar with great energy and atmosphere. Drinks were good and brought out quickly. Same with appetizer. We each had the burger with fries. Food was great. Will definitely return.
Music is loud so hard to hold a conversation. However, food, drinks and service were fantastic! There's a large bar and outdoor patio seating. Parking is available across the street $14
Always a good time at this place. A bit slow to start as there servers were just getting started but they got things together quickly! food could have been warmer but otherwise good.
We went for brunch & the pulled pork Eggs Benedict were awesome. Everyone enjoyed their meals
Huevos rancheros, unlimited mimosas, super friendly server, and the best seats in the house for people watching...PERFECT brunch!
My second visit & I brought my friend. We shared the ribeye steak sandwich. OMGood ess, it was fabulous. Done to perfection, tender, flavorful... Definitely a must get again.
Walked by this restaurant on a Sunday lunch . Place was packed and there was a long line outside. Promised myself that I won't leave Sacramento without having a meal here. It was impossible to make weeknight reservations so made a lunch reservation on opentable.com.
Went on a Monday for lunch. Place wasn't busy at all. Service was very friendly and efficient. Ordered braised short rib - very tender and delicious!
Make dinner reservations way in advance!
This was the first time dining here and I cannot complain about the food because it was delicious. The service could have been better though. The server seemed very bored and not happy. she took our order and although we asked for specific things on the side we still got them on top along with outside. She didn't come to see how everything was so I wasn't able to tell her the mistake but I ate it anyways because I was starving. Afterward she did check on us and everything was fine I just felt rushed.
Made reservations even though it was for lunch. It was crowded but we were seated immediately by the window. The food was excellent. My friends have never been so they enjoyed the place. I have been there twice and love the food so far. We definitely recommend the place
We love Firestone as an "end of week" break. The service is always impeccable and the food never fails to satisfy. The combination of friendly services and great food makes Firestone a go-to in the midtown area for a casual lunch.
We loved the food! I had the skirt steak salad and my husband had the ribeye steak sandwich. Perfectly cooked, very tasty.
Lunch was great. The waitress was good and met our needs.
The steak salad wasn't anything out of the ordinary - the steak was cooked as I requested however, there was almost no seasoning - quantity was good but the flavor was not and I though it expensive - other downtown restaurants do not charge as much for their steak salads
Had lunch on the patio this week. Excellent food and fabulous service.
Really excellent beer list and draft system. Cool environment very open with lots of TVs for sports and old kegs for decor. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was good, except the arugula had a bunch of fibrous stems in it that were impossible to chew. However the steak sandwich, the fish and chips, and the beet salad were all very good (arugula stems aside).
