FireRock Steakhouse - Las Vegas
Whether you are new to FireRock Steakhouse or a long-standing customer, we look forward to seeing you soon!
Our first experience was iffy, I had to wait 20 mins for my drink. Both my husband and mine dinner order was incorrect, waiter was kind of weird when I pointed that out but he quickly fixed it. Asked for bearnaise sauce with my steak and was given mayonnaise so I guess the restaurant was too loud for me to be understood lol. The ribeye steaks we ordered were both incorrectly cooked, we asked for medium rare and got well done, my ribeye was mostly fat. also the portions are VERY small for the price. My husband and I think we’ll give another try in the future but we rate it three stars.
They didn’t seem to have my reservation from opentable because my Birthday wasn’t acknowledged at all and I had also asked for a booth and we were seated right next to the kitchen at a table. I asked for my baked potato with the toppings on the side and it came with it already on it. Our salads had too much dressing,I probably should have asked for it on the side. The steaks were huge. The service was great.
Very noisy and hard to hear each other. Service was ok considering that it was busy. Salad good but salmon dry/overcooked a bit but flavor of sauce good. Bread is great!
For the most part, all guests were pleased with their meals. One plate of the salmon entree came out slowly and was not thoroughly cooked. The guest discreetly called the waiter and said there was a problem and before he could explain the waiter said something to the effect, is it undercooked. He apologized and took the entire plate back to the kitchen. What followed was a lengthy wait for the meal. In fact by the time it arrived, almost everyone at the table and finished eating. The guest did not complain other than to say the salmon was unimpressive. I am sure we will visit Fire Rock again but with a more critical eye.
Pretty consistent. Cozy spot that seems to have mostly couples dining. Food was really good. Service was super slow. Food took forever but was good
Awesome place and food. Never had a bad experience at FireRock. Servers are always great. And Opentable allowed us to walk right in and be seated. Amazing!
Great service, great food and very nice atmosphere, no long wait for food and just a
great experience, will be there tonight again for a repeat it was that good
Definitely going back
I used to love coming to this restaurant. I have since learned that the menu changed in September and not for the good. A few of my favorites were taken off and the prices have drastically increased. I understand a price increase but to this extent. Our service was also extremely slow and it was not busy. We walked in on a Saturday night at 5:30 and there was no one in the lobby waiting and not too many tables had people seated at them.
We were also there celebrating a birthday but it was not even acknowledged. I am not sure how often we will be back now with these changes.
The service started out really marginal and we are seated right by the door which was freezing cold. But then our server went home mid shift and mid meal and the replacement was phenomenal. She was so lovely and gregarious and on point. And, she moved us to a table in the back that was warm and comfortable. Absolutely delightful from that point!
Foods normally good but tonight not so much. Service was real slow food was cold and over cooked.
Ordered an appetizer, drinks and dinner. The server brought the drinks, salad and rolls. Within two minutes the dinners arrived. By the time the salad was eaten, the food was cold. The waiter did bring over the manager and she was nice, however, we have tried this restaurant before and there is always something wrong. We won’t be back.
Anniversary and Birthday dinner. It was a nice quiet Sunday evening. The food was great, though a bit pricey for the lobster tails. Steak was cooked to perfection and had that great wood fire smell and taste
We really like Fire Rock but not impressed with the service. Too slow and having to wait at least 20 minutes for the next course is disappointing. The waitress kept apologizing, but it does not make it right!
Foods good but service is slow
My family and I wanted a steak for dinner and thought of FireRock.
The food was great but best of all was our server, Sara. She was excellent! This is the second time we have had her as our waitress.
I hope we get her next time! She made the experience at the restaurant even better.
Monday night dinner, good steaks and prime rib. Good service.
Our service from Mike was great, however, a manager started clearing our table before we were done. She actually picked up my friends wine glass, which was 1/2 full, and started to clear our table. There were other empty tables, already set up, so our lingering should not have been a problem, plus we were a party of 4 and our bill was $$$, because we had drinks, appetizers and meals, plus desert. No reason to be so rude.
We love Fire Rock! Always good! Great service, love the varied menu, great drinks.
Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted and seated at the table we helped choose. Noise level considered.
We did have to wait a bit to long fr the server to come to our table, but she did apologize. Plus, she gave us very good service the whole time we were there.
Enjoyed the meals ordered. Good food. But, I do believe some of your prices have seemed to go a bit high for some items. This is still considered more of a nice neighborhood restaurant, not a fancy one.
No regular dinner menu on and after 10 pm. So we were forced to pick something from the tiny midnight menu. Good that there were still some items that we liked.
We had an ok experience. The server was phenomenal;however, the pace was slow and the steaks were not cooked to the proper temperature. I think the experience would have been much better if they added more staff to improve the wait times and over all customer service. Our poor waitress was overwhelmed and you could tell!
Great as always
Every thing was great as always!!!
Such a shame the food is fair at best, and the service always seems to be so slow. One person ordered Maple Pecan-Crusted Pork Medallions which turned out to be a mustard seasoned pork - the menu was changing and the wait staff was supposed to let customers know when they ordered this dish but failed to do so. We had waited a good 30 minutes for our food, and we didn't want to start the whole process over by ordering something else, so it was sent back. Two people ordered sirloin steaks - both were tough and chewy. This was the case the last time I ordered steak there. The other person in our party ordered a chicken sandwich, which I later was told wasn't good - don't have particulars on what the problem was with her choice. The manager did not charge us for the pork dish (as it should be since it was sent back), and took 50% off both steaks, so I will give them props for that. All in all - Fire Rock has become a so-so choice for dining and we likely will not be back. The only reason I didn't give it one star was because I did have a nice video poker win at the bar before dinner.
New in town, went looking for casual but quality steakhouse. Server was Sara, polite, professional and helpful with all choices. Would definitely come back again.
Dining was good but bartender could work on his people skills.
The food was delicious and we go there often.
Service I’d always hit and miss. Sometimes good and others bad.
This last visit the service was horrible. The worst I’ve experienced anywhere. She took our order and then we never saw her again, until the end of the night when we had to have someone else get our check. I’m not sure if she forgot we were one of her tables. Even the couple next to us asked what happened.
Super great service. I wish I remembered our server’s name. Sweet and very efficient. Had a birthday coupon which made it even better!!!
The service was a little slow but it was a full house so that was to be a expected. Our server was great and the food was outstanding! First time here but we will be back.
ONLY complaint was it was sooooo effing LOUD!
27th wedding anniversary—our waitress was extremely S-L-O-W and never refilled our drinks — until she brought check. And she kept the coin change without asking. I was sorely disappointed in the service because I usually have good service there.
The food? The chicken was dry, tough, and chewy and the mashed potatoes were dry.
The appetizer was the steak quesadilla was excellent though.
Our server Shelley was excellent! Very helpful, sweet, personable. Great smile! When I go back I will ask to be seated in her section. Left her a 25% tip!
Our server Mike was great. I marked low on service because even with a reservation it took us almost 15 min to get seated. Also, it took another 15 min once seated for someone to come by and even ask if we wanted water.
Food was slow arriving and over cooked by the time were got it. At those prices, pretty disappointing.
I have been to Firerock several times. Happy hour is always good. I would like them to change up that menu it gets same ol same ol but its good value.
We went on to the dining room and the service was excellent. I asked that my scallops get cooked a special way and they were great. Most restaurants over cook them. The others had the steak and prime rub which was also excellent. Portions we good and cost was reasonable. We will be back.
I'm on a special diet, and our server was so helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed our fantastic meal.
Good food. Service a little slow but booths comfortable
It was good....the food was pretty good....but like most restaurants these days, if you want to have a quiet conversation, then then isn't the place for you or that!!!
The food was good but the chef mixed up our order. My wife got my steak and I got hers. Our server was very friendly and did a great job despite being overwhelmed with the number of parties she had to serve. Overall I would eat there again and give them another chance.
