It was just ok, we were not impressed. The place is very nice. Service was good too. Food was so-so. Walleye was greasy and crust has no flavor really. Burger was good. I don’t think we would go back anytime soon.
Great food, atmosphere, service, and spacious seating.
Always enjoy eating at this restaurant. Food was phenomenal as always. Would definitely recommend. Service was a little slow but we were in no hurry. Best prime rib I have had in a long time.
Service was very good. Nice variety of selections on the menu.
30th Birthday for my husband. Drinks and food was wonderful. Comfortable but very nice. Kid friendly!
Wedding anniversary dinner.
As usual, the food was excellent. But what made this visit different was our server, Paulo. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. He was able to answer all our questions. He never hovered, but was always available. We had some pleasant short conversations with him throughout our visit. I especially like how he gave my dining friend the options of boxing her own take him, or having him do it. That was a nice gesture. I know some people don't want someone else to do it. He is a gem!
The food was delicious and the servvice excellent!
We were here for brunch, and the prices are a bit high, but the service was excellent and the food was very very good. I would definitely recommend it.
We had a get together for my birthday. Our server was very friendly and the food was wonderful! She brought out a dessert treat on the house for my birthday. It as a peanut butter dessert in a jar that was homemade and absolutely delicious!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great waiter. Delicious food!
Our entrees and service were very good. The cheese curd appetizer was spectacular! We were disappointed in the Caesar salad. The dressing seemed unusual for Caesar and did not have much flavor. I always order a bottle of wine with dinner. I was disappointed that the wine glasses had a very strong odor of dish detergent (bleach). It made it difficult to make an informed decision while sampling the bottle.
A great, out of the way spot in the mall. It was a bit pricey, but everything was delicious. We'll definitely go back.
Very impressed. We were in for lunch and the service and food were outstanding. The Walleye was some of the best I ever have had. The home made chips are a must have. Great lunch, great value. Will return for dinner. Thank you
We were at Fire Lake on a Sunday evening. The service was quite slow and the food just OK. I had been at this same restaurant with some friends on Friday night, two evenings previous. That night the service was great and the food was really good. I suspect Sunday evening must have had a different chef than Friday as there was a notable difference in quality.
Excellent food and service!
Not impressed, would not eat here again. Hostesses rude and unfriendly. Server was nice but left and never finished up our table without warning. They then put us near the noisey kitchen, when I asked if they could move us back because of the noise they claimed they were all taken, no one was there, no reserved signs on the tables, a lame excuse to not want to accommodate us. They really should ask more questions considering I have neurological disease and sensory issues which made for a even more uncomfortable dining experience.
Great atmosphere and decor. Great variety of foods on the menu to meet anyone’s tastes !
Greeted and sat promptly. Nicholi was our server and he did a great job in attending to our needs. He made great suggestions and most everyone was happy with their meal. The wild rice soup with leek and mushroom was delish as was the fondue we all shared. The pork chop was outstanding. Short rib dinner was good but not as good as moms. Lamb was done well and had great flavor. Only one disappointment was the person who had a salad. Very little dressing and not thrilled with the dried wild rice kernels. Our server did have a waiting assistant that was great also. He was more than happy to get us extra plates, bowls, and bread when asked. Overall it was a very fun evening with good food and great service. I'd have no hesitation in going back.
We requested a private room for a business dinner when we made our reservations. We were told they had an ideal spot for us. They also reconfirmed the private room when they called to reconfirm the reservation. When we checked in the hostess told us the private room was not available.
Just ok. this place was nothing special. The food was good but i feel overpriced. When you order something like French toast you should get a side of something... not here, nothing.
The food was EXCELLENT! Service was a bit slow, but very friendly - we weren’t in a hurry. And the food more than made up for it. Best meal in a long time. Would definitely go back.
Ordered the Alaskan salmon, this was the saltiest meal I've ever had. Couldn't finish due to the salt, no flavor or seasoning what so ever, the fish was also cooked dry. Won't be back.
Drinks were ok, SO's meal was just "ok". For $100 I'd expect better food than applebees
The food was excellent along with the very good service. Great experience. Surprised to find it at MOA.
Was a little disappointed in the choices tonight. Bison was too lean - dry. My mistake.
Great ambiance, good service, but our food was not great. For the high price, I just can't recommend it, or would maybe try again, but avoid the prime rib, rotisserie chicken, and don't order a Minnesota Mule drink.
We were a group of ten with some small children which initially presented some challenges with seating and settling needs. Turned out fine, with part
We came in for a birthday dinner and we had a wonderful time. Ordered a few appetizers to share and then we all had something a little bit different and everyone pleased.
We had planned on going to the new cake boss for dessert at our waiter was so sweet and brought my son a piece a cake with the candle. In all honesty we liked this better than later dessert!
We will be back.
The food and service were both amazing - everything was cooked well and plated cleverly, and our server could not have been more attentive (while also unobtrusive.) The cheese curds and popovers were both excellent. Would definitely go back!
It’s was great
Had a reservation for our family of 4 but had been waiting for at least 45 minutes for our breakfast order before anyone noticed that our order hadn't even been placed. Waitress avoided us and someone else came over to sweet talk us but no one made it right and we left to find breakfast elsewhere. Very disappointed and that kind of service is unacceptable.
Christmas brunch has become a tradition. Great service. Nice menu options. Love the wild rice pancakes with chokecherry syrup.
While the meal on Christmas day was very tasty. ..we were seated by the window and the sun coming in made it difficult to enjoy the meal. The shades were down, but the sun was brutal. Better blinds/shades are highly recommended!
Personable wait staff, good cocktails, good food and good service. Our Christmas meal was very enjoyable, would go back again!
As always the service and food was top notch! I get here every couple months and have never had a bad experience.
Food was extremely poor quality for the overall cost. Will not return.
Considering we were there mid morning on Black Friday and the place was empty and we were getting drinks and breakfast, we certainly had THE WORST service.
Wonderfully creative, fresh, locally sourced food! The natural barn wood decor with a modern twist provides an appealing atmosphere. All staff were especially attentive and pleasant.
The food was great and the portions are huge. We were there for Thanksgiving dinner and they had a special menu. They offered a set meal with traditional Turkey dinner fare including salad, turkey and pumpkin pie for dessert which was good value for a hotel restaurant in this class. For those who don't especially care for turkey there was also a good variety of entree options which I was told were their popular 8 bestsellers. we had the Roast Prime Rib and pork cutlet which did not disappoint. Service was good, Samantha our server was very attentive and pleasant. The restaurant was especially busy for Thanksgiving. A little noisy though so don't expect to go there for quiet conversation. The general ambience is very warm and nice.
Love the decor. Something for everyone. High quality ingredients and great service.
