FireLake Grill House Mall of America Ratings and Reviews
We came in for a birthday dinner and we had a wonderful time. Ordered a few appetizers to share and then we all had something a little bit different and everyone pleased.
We had planned on going to the new cake boss for dessert at our waiter was so sweet and brought my son a piece a cake with the candle. In all honesty we liked this better than later dessert!
We will be back.
Had a reservation for our family of 4 but had been waiting for at least 45 minutes for our breakfast order before anyone noticed that our order hadn't even been placed. Waitress avoided us and someone else came over to sweet talk us but no one made it right and we left to find breakfast elsewhere. Very disappointed and that kind of service is unacceptable.
The food was great and the portions are huge. We were there for Thanksgiving dinner and they had a special menu. They offered a set meal with traditional Turkey dinner fare including salad, turkey and pumpkin pie for dessert which was good value for a hotel restaurant in this class. For those who don't especially care for turkey there was also a good variety of entree options which I was told were their popular 8 bestsellers. we had the Roast Prime Rib and pork cutlet which did not disappoint. Service was good, Samantha our server was very attentive and pleasant. The restaurant was especially busy for Thanksgiving. A little noisy though so don't expect to go there for quiet conversation. The general ambience is very warm and nice.
I have been to the Firelake many times and it never disappoints. The food is fresh, local and delicious. From salmon to soups to salads (I've only been there for lunch), the offerings are always creative and perfect for the season. If I need to meet someone on the south side - or close to the airport for a business lunch - this is my go to spot.
The food and service were very good. The Popover Prime Rib Dip sandwich was amazing! The chairs however are the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat it. I am sure they are "chic", but they looked tattered and were not comfortable no matter what your size was. It felt like we were all falling forward while eating.
Once we made it to the restaurant (we were challenged in finding the south entrance to the MOA ramp as we are not locals) we had a fabulous time!
We had wonderful service and great food. It was a bit on the pricier side for our family, but it had great ambience. We will visit again for a special occasion.
The food and service were both excellent! When eating out, we prefer good quality food, and the food at the FireLake Grill House was outstanding! We went there for the fish options: salmon and locally sourced Walleye. Both were excellent, fresh tender and cooked appropriately. The spinach polenta with the salmon was very good.
