Overpriced for just so-so food. Cocktails were weak and craft beer was flat
Great place to share with friends. Bone Marrow dish with shaved lamb is delicious.
The food was absolutely impeccable and our waiter was so incredibly patient and friendly, and very attentive. LOVE that the ingredients are locally sourced and/or responsibly raised. Highly recommend!
We celebrated our 35th anniversary here and all was great! The host was welcoming and passed on to our server that we were celebrating and everyone we came in contact with was awesome and happy for us. Our server Sean, was amazing! We told him we wanted to take our time and even though it was busy, he allowed us to sit with our drinks and even bought us an anniversary dessert! He was attentive but not interruptive and an all around excellent server.
We gave the ambiance a 4 instead of 5, only because the tables were a little close together and sometimes we were interrupted by other tables’ conversations. The prices were reasonable for a good restaurant except $45 for a steak made me change my original menu plan. We will definitely be back!
Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Be sure and get one of their craft cocktails!
I went there with the impression they served lamb chops according to the online menu prior to me making reservations. They did not serve actual lamb chops the server informed me that , that was a special and the chops were discontinued. The server suggested lamb shoulder and I was about to order the lamb shoulder well done and he told me the only way they serve lamb shoulder Is medium well. I ended up ordering a lamb frittata which was dried out and a side of mashed potatoes. Needless to say I was not impressed and will not be back.
3 of our meals were awful. My husband told them he had a dairy allergy and then they still brought him a burger with a buttered bun. He didn’t know until 1/2 way done. They remade it and it took them 25 min. The place was not busy at all. My kids chicken strips had big chunks of uncooked breading in the middle of the chicken. My steak was perfect and tasted great. They did comp our meal for the issues. But I will never go back.
We love FireLake Grill but they had an off night. We got tired of sending things back so we just gave up.
My wife's steak was medium well and when she mentioned it, the chef told the server it wasn't and asked her to bring it back to the table. My wife had to get her flashlight out and show that it wasn't medium.
The Walleye my friend had was soggy and the batter was peeling off and the fish was dry.
My salad had brown lettuce. So we paid over $200.00 for a lousy meal. Oh, and although the server did her best, the food was extremely slow. We got the entrees one hour after the salads for example.
Wonderful food and service. Extremely noisy. Would likely go back.
Food was served cold.
While everything was good, I definitely felt like it was overpriced. My husband had the prime rib for $38 and he said it was just ok. My walleye came with 2 spears of asparagus and a side of rice for $29. Nothing was bad, I just expected more for the price. We did have the broccoli tots for an appetizer and those were delicious. The service was excellent. I just expected fabulous food for a $150 dinner.
We were visiting Mall of America for the first time and we stayed at the Radisson Blu. So, we dined for breakfast and dinner, as well as went to the Cocktail Bar. It was very nice.
Great menu, with a lot of locally sourced food. Good service.
Server was excellent & food was awesome
Great ambiance, great food and great service. I have the trout, wrapped in a cedar plank paper. Excellent service. We celebrated an anniversary and was a great choice. I loved that the portion and serving sizes were realistic and not huge. Very enjoyable.
The breakfast was outstanding! Homemade sauce for the flat iron steak and fresh made jelly for toast were nice additions!
Great restaurant!!! The Whiskey list is out of this world. The food is outstanding.
Really wonderful food and excellent ambiance _ our server was phenomenal and really understood our requests _ we stayed at the hotel for a few nights _❤️ awesome overall experience. The food was delicious and freshly prepared . A true culinary experience.
The food and service were AMAZING!!!! My only complaint was the dining set up. I would have preferred it to be in more of a “private” table setting since I was on a special date with my husband. There were people on either side of us that could totally hear our conversations. Otherwise an EXCELLENT dining experience!!
We started the evening with a bottle of Twomey Pinot Noir, and enjoyed it so much we had another. The popovers with honey butter were very good, as was the roasted beet salad. The split roasted prime rib was excellent, as was the salmon gnudi. The grilled Alaskan wild salmon was dry, which is why I would not recommend this restaurant to a friend. It is not difficult to properly grill salmon. The roasted Brussels Sprouts were too done. Parking at the hotel is $17, so make time to walk from public parking for your reservation.
Dinner with the family on a staycation to MOA. Our server was awesome but was let down by her support team and the kitchen. Bourbon old fashioned was just okay. Dirty Fries aka poutine was good but none of the toppings stuck to the fries, which was weird. My food came out 5-10 minutes after everyone else’s. Helpers kept trying to bring us food that was not ours. I had the chop salad and it was both flavorless and drowning in salt if such a thing were possible. Wife liked her soup and sandwich. Kids ate their fruit cups but little else. It could be very good but this was not a great experience.
Our reservation was for 5:45 pm on a Saturday night, we excepted to have to wait for a while but no, we were seated right away. Our waitress took our order and it was at our table in 10 min or so.. she even poured our 2nd glass for us and referred to my husband by his last name when bringing back the credit card. We were in by 5:45 pm and on our way by 6:15 pm with zero rush. Left us plenty of time to roam around the mall before the movie started. Food was AMAZING!, tasteful and beautiful. Everything was clean and beautiful. Normally when you walk into a restaurant you feel like you are leaving there smelling like it, not the case here. There was a large birthday party seated right across from us and three families with young kiddos near by, still the noise level was quiet and still felt intimate for the perfect date-night with the hubby. Can't wait to go back.
Still my favorite restaurant in Bloomington. Well done!
My fries was very hard and my wings wasn’t cooked fully
The restaurant has a very relaxing feel to it and service was ok. The food was pricey but I knew that going in, but with a high price tag you expect high quality. This was not the case here, I ordered bacon wrapped bison ribeye with potatoes, it was ok but it was just bacon and meat no seasoning very bland. The potatoes are kind of weird they give you like half a teaspoon of the sauce for it but potatoes are also very bland. My wife ordered the rotisserie chicken with potatoes, her potatoes were also unseasoned with anything they just threw the bland unseasoned chicken on top of them and called it a day. Some people may like it but I wasn’t a fan.
Took my girlfriend here for valentine's day dinner. Excellent food and service! Atmosphere was very good as well.
Food was excellent. Service was attentive but not over attentive. Definitely will come back again. Valet parking was very convenient.
Close to hotel, great experience!
Walking in I was impressed by the restaurant. It was very nice in appearance. It had a romantic, warm feel with the lighting. We sat down and felt rushed by the waiter. If we weren’t exactly ready he would cut us off and go to the next table, which was annoying. The food was average. I was hoping to order the duck but the waiter recommended against it stating it was dry. The drinks were good but very expensive. So overall, not impressed. Was hoping for better service and food for the price. The menu options were ok as well but pricy. Not sure I will go bank unfortunately.
Great place to get away from the crowds of MOA. Great food and service.
Excellent food at a reasonable price. The food is of great quality. Will definitely come again.
Excellent service and great food. Menu used local ingredients.
We each ordered an item from their 4 specialty items, the baked spaghetti & the salsbury steak. The spaghetti dish was cold and bland, and the steak was served atop A-1 steak sauce.
Great server. Great food and wine!
Such fantastic food! Amazing flavors, every course we had was incredible! Highly recommend!
We had to ask the waitress a couple times for cream for the coffee and food took a long time but it was good when it arrived.
I made reservations online and included information that this was going to be a post wedding dinner with my family, and if they could do something special that would be great. The special occasion wasn’t noticed at all despite giving a heads up, and even after our waiter learned of our nuptials and staying at the hotel, he did nothing above and beyond either. It was a neat atmosphere, but wasn’t as special as I was hoping it’s be.
We had friendly and attentive service, and we all loved our food! We also had a great bottle of Chalk Hill Chardonnay for starters and followed it with a bottle of Altvs with dinner! Exceptional!
Typically the service here is good. Rarely saw the waitress on this occasion and thought maybe she went to take a break while serving our table.
