Awesome experience overall. Food is delicious and noticeably prepared to order. I recommend making a reservation.
We have always enjoyed the food here. It is tasty and there is a good selection of menu items. Cocktails are great, too. Servers are friendly, knowledgeable , and accommodating. It is cozy in the winter and fun in the summer when the doors are open.
Excellent food, enjoyable ambiance, sweet staff! The pork chop was melt in your mouth delicious and the chocolate fudge cake was decadent.
Service and food were excellent.
I love this restaurant. Service was excellent, friendly, fast, knowledgeable. Menu variety short but plenty to satisfy your needs no matter the occasion. Pizza, Chicken, Fish, Beef. High quality food without breaking the bank. I love the ambience. Music in the back round and not so noisy as to be hard to carry on a conversation without shouting.
Friends from out of town visiting, they were late getting us to our table, we arrived 10 minutes early. The hostess just had a surly attitude & was generally unpleasant, she needs a job that doesn’t include dealing with customers.
Our server and meals were fantastic!!
So good and underrated.
We especially liked the friendly servers, all of them! Pizza was great - the thin crust is much appreciated!
I wanted to like it so much! It's close to where I live and would be an easy place to grab dinner, but the food was just middling, although we enjoyed the wine selection. The artichoke was grilled and smokey, obscuring the delicate flavor. The pot de creme was like glue. There was hardly anyone in the place on Wednesday evening which makes me think I'm not the only one giving a bad review.
Has been one of favorite places for years, always great food.
Pros: service was great, awesome wine selection, and lovely neighborhood. Cons: pizza is overpriced and wasn't that great. Crust was more gummy than chewy and it was almost room temperature.
Pizza was better than ever, especially if you skip the olive oil on top. The chicken dish had great flavor and was well cooked but where were the gnocchi and chard sides? There were only like 2 bites. Should go back to the old plating system and restore the sides!!!!
Best Hanger Steak in my opinion....I saw a review and will have to say spot on..will be my go to for Hanger Steak in the future. The Charred Brocollini was amazing as well.
Really, really good Neopolitan pizza. The only other item we had was the fried cauli which was delicious as well. Would highly recommend if you are looking some high quality, really delicious pizza.
We had a fantastic server who took care of us even when one of us spilled our glass of wine and provided us with another glass of wine and complements to my meal which got a little wine soaked! I enjoyed the atmosphere but would have preferred the music to not have been as loud so I could hear my friends speaking a little bit better.
Excellent food at good prices. Good service. Small and comfortable room.
It's a charming little place, nothing fancy, decent food, interesting "small plate" choices and good wine. It was the first time we'd ever been served an uncut pizza and given scissors to cut it.
Love this place!!! We live just down the street and always have a great experience.
Super place in an unlikely spot. Great, friendly service and superb food. We have eaten in many Portland area restaurants - this is in the top 5 for sure. Recommend without hesitation and can't wait to go again. Great place to eat near the Airport.
We love the firehouse pizzas and the wine has always been great too.
Enjoyed Firehouse version of classics like Manhattan cocktail and Caesar salad. Excellent pizzas. Don't skip dessert!
I booked Firehouse because they had a reservation for 6 people available on a Saturday night and I am glad that I did. We had prompt, friendly service and good food. It was busy, but we could easily hear each other when we chatted. The pizza was good, but a little soggy in the middle.
There were four of us for dinner and our first time at The Firehouse. A very cozy and comfortable restaurant. We all ordered something different and loved our dinners. I had a delicious Caesar salad and pizza. Probably one of the best pizzas I have ever had. We all would definitely go back again!
We have chosen the Firehouse for many occasions and never have we been disappointed. Their food is amazing, and the wait staff actually enjoy their job and it shows with the customer service (with just the right amount of attention - never hovering or visiting too many times). We recommend it highly and will be returning soon.
We did small plates and pizza and recommend you do the same.
Yummy as always! Standouts were pizzas, cauliflower, kale salad, but salmon, romaine salad, arincini and broccolini we’re also delicious
Delicious as always! The mussels are outstanding and make me want to build a wood fired pizza oven in my backyard.
The dinner was a special Christmas date with a very special person. I had asked if I could drop off flowers and the gift and the lady I talked to was super sweet and accommodating. I wish I could remember her name because she helped make an already special night even more special!!!! My date was super surprised and impressed and it made for an incredible date. The dinner was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive and pleasant!! Thank you all!!!!🙌🙌🙌
We had a lovely dinner. My husband tried the bone marrow and loved it. I had my usual marguerite pizza and it was great. I love that they serve it with scissors...it's so easy to cut the pieces that way! Firehouse is always a good bet for dinner. In nice weather we take our dogs and enjoy eating outside.
