Firegrill's food and service are 2nd to none on the island.
I have been dining there for over 20 years and I always bring visitors and clients to Firegrill since I know that they will never let me down.
My son is a picky eater because of tree nut allergies and my daughter is a vegetarian. At Firegrill, both have a variety of selections that can satisfy their different requirements with delicious available choices.
Even under the present conditions due to Covid, Firegrill provides a safe dining environment while providing the same excellent food and service.
I've been there on dates and with friends and family. My favorite place to spend and eat good food with people.
Very good as usual but sad it was empty & so quiet. Should maybe put some light music in the background
Overpriced for the quality!
Cocktails were bad (we were 4 and all tried a different one), waitress made you feel like you were bothering her if you asked a question about the menu, and service was long even though the restaurant was practically empty.
Overall, you can get a better filet mignon elsewhere for the same price and it’ll come with more than just mashed potatoes and 2 strips of bell peppers.
Huge disappointment. Will not go back.
Champagne was flat , never got my peppercorn sauce as described roast beef very fatty lack of communication with hostess salad limp clean table with dirty towel I don’t understand it’s obvious it’s poor careless management
Too expensive for what you get. For the same price better Go to Keg restaurant. Food isn’t Great.
We had the grilled shrimp dish and got 6 huge shrimps perfectly grilled. At $32 it is a good value. So was the Ahi Tuna. It was a large piece, about an inch thick, melt in your mouth. At $33 it is also good value.
On a whole was good, just felt when we arrived the manager was not very welcoming, questioned us to make sure we had a reservation and upon leaving seemed suspicious of the 2 children in our party. That is the only negative although that was the first and last impression. Did not even greet us.
Very satisfied, the waitress Jenifer (if i remember well) was very good. As a suggestion, include fruits in the dessert menu :).
I ate here with a friend on New Years Day 2020 The food was very good.The service from Nora was outstanding. We both took their signature roast beef from their table d'hote. Both dishes were very good. I also took their tiramisu cake for dessert and it was excellent. We will go back.

There was an apparent staff meeting when we arrived. We didn’t get water until our meal order was taken. Once the place started to fill up more the service improved. Beautiful ambiance, very romantic. Food was delicious. Sadly their menu did not indicate allergens and speaking to the waitress about what would be gluten free wasn’t an easy process.
The shrimp dish was very good with 6 very large shrimp.
The tuna was excellent.
We were a party of 4. We got 3 meals at the same time and was told the steak will be done in a few minutes. About 15 minutes later we were told that they gave the steak to somebody else by mistake. It took more then another 15 minutes for them to prepare another one.
The waiter apologized and offered a free desert to the one person who had to wait for the meal but nothing to the others who were also sitting and waiting for the last person to finish the steak.
The manager never bothered to come around to apologize.
I found the service selective, I drank water and asked for more water, that never came. My colleague drank soft drinks and he was asked if he wanted more and was immediately served.
My colleague asked for a side salad that never came but was charged on the bill......
THANK YOU FOR THE HOSPITALITY. OUR VISIT WAS GRETA THE FOOD WAS SUPERB AND THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING. WE ENDED UP WITH 20 PEOPLE AND ALL SAID THEY WOULD RETURN
Really disappointed at the food, they offer quantity not quality, and with the price you can eat at any fine dining restaurant in downtown.

Great friends and great food
It's a steakhouse! As expected, a decent steak at an expected price point. Wine list very pricey for the limited selection available. Waiters seemed preoccupied considering it was a Friday and it was not a busy evening. No reservation would have been required as there were many open tables.
Karolina was delightful! We were there on a very quiet lunch so had a chance to visit.
Some nice wines in the collection.
The Roast Beef was excellent, as were both the mashed and baked potatoes. Last time we were here, I made a point of calling out the very small portion of mashed potatoes. Whether coincidence or not, I will never know, but this time the portion was properly sized.
The fish on the other hand was just average.
Unfortunately, the service was quite slow. and the bill took forever to come.
The place was nowhere near as full as it usually is on a Saturday night. Have their consistency issues caught up to the restaurant's owners?
Our coffee was watered down and tepid. I ordered a salad and paid $10 for added shrimp. I got 2 over salted lukewarm shrimp. This brought my salad up to $27. The waitress took extremely long between taking our orders (drinks, appetizers, main meal and dessert) and forgot to bring dessert altogether. There were not a lot of people so couldn’t blame the rush. Also there was a fire alarm that rang for 20 minutes. The manager came over to explain that the fire department had to turn it off so it would keep ringing for a bit. We suggested he get the few people a round of drinks to keep them there (which he didn’t). When we mentioned this at the end of the meal to the waitress, he came over and said since we’re beautiful ladies he could offer us a drink but could not comp the ones we’d had 2 hours earlier. So we’re supposed to take a shot of alcohol before leaving to DRIVE home???? Never going back there again.
Service impeccable par Vikkie. Steak délicieux et très tendre. Salades généreuses et fraiches. Calmars tendres. Tout était parfait. Nous étions avec des gens de l'Alberta. Ils ont très bien mangé.
Ten ounce Roast Beef was quite tasty and was actually 10 oz, unlike some recent trips here.
Garlic Mashed potato portion was inadequate however. Half the size of most places.
Chicken vegetable soup was hearty and a nice touch on the Table d'Hote.
Salads were fine, coffee came with the Table d'Hote.
The tasty Roast Beef made the meal sort of worth the price, but seriously the mashed potato portion..... gives me doubts.

First time going as a family of 4. Hostess was very welcoming, seated us by the fireplace which was nice. We sat for a while before anyone acknowledged us . Our waiter seemed bothered that we wanted to wait to give our main course order. We ordered appetizers and drinks and wanted to enjoy the evening and not feel rushed. Main course was good but seemed a bit pricey for what you got. He never came and asked if we needed anything, or how the food was, or offer another beverage.
Yes we would go back but would not be our first choice

We were 5. Service was excellent. The prime roast beef is really good and the price is decent as well. The lamb was ok. The pasta was not that good. I reserved online and mentioned it was for my mom's bday. We were hoping for a bday cake but didn't get it. It's ok, we had a great time at the restaurant nevertheless.
Great dinner with my wife and a friend from Winnipeg. Good choice on the menu my only complaint was dessert as we were eating early and they informed us that they only had one creame caramel left. At 6 pm on a Saturday
