We love this restaurant, however last night was not their night. We had a 6:45 pm reservation. Weren't seated till 7:15, we enjoyed a drink in the bar. The service was extremely slow, we didn't have dinner served until 8:30, the kitchen was complete backed up. Not very kind staff.

We went for Thanksgiving so it was a special menu. The food was very good but the service was unbelievably slow. Loved the ambiance and would go back again. Hopefully the slowness was due to the holiday but we thought maybe our server was new.

I really like Firefly and will go there again. I just wouldn't go on a day like Thanksgiving. The service and ambiance were great, but the food wasn't as good as it usually is there. Turkey was cold, mash potatoes were too buttery, cranberry sauce was too sour. I think they made the dinner in large batches and somehow the flavor was lost. This is not typical of Firefly though. Their food is usually fantastic. Just best not to go on a holiday or for a pre-set menu.

This was the worst meal I have ever had. The service was horrible. The food was served cold and tasteless except the tuna tartar which was so salty it was inedible. I have never written a bad review before but this was so terrible I needed to say something.

It's super tricky to rate an experience based on a one-night-only Prix Fixe menu - as we dined on Thanksgiving. I've been here many times and it's always wonderful. That said, their Thanksgiving offerings were hit and miss. The good news: the appetizers (tuna tartare, pumpkin soup with grilled cheese and chicory salad were each AMAZING), cocktails were great, and the desserts were solid. However, the main course (the most Thanksgiving-y items) was, sadly, lacking. Each of us in our party were taken aback as to how salty the stuffing was (like, there was a mistake in the kitchen kinda salty), and how cold the whole dish arrived (corn, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, turkey). We asked for an extra side of gravy and that really helped the turkey and potatoes, for sure. Oh, the cranberry sauce was on another level tart (we all couldn't eat it). Also, it was quizzical that the apps were so generous in portion, but each side on the Thanksgiving plate was no bigger than maybe 2 - 3 bites. However... the add-on side of brussel sprouts were delicious (which happen to be on their regular menu - proving my theory that one-night only items are usually too risky). So, it's easy to see why this particular review isn't exactly fair nor indicative of a usual experience. All that said, it was all-in-all a great night (great service and ambiance, too!) and we will definitely return.

Dinner and the ambiance was amazing. Perfect for a date night for friends catching up. The only downside was our waitress was very adamant about hurrying to order because they have other people coming. Felt rush which was in return uncomfortable.

Perfect. The food was amazing. The service was terrific. We didn’t want to sit in the room with the gas heat lamps (even though it is lovely!) as the gas was giving me and my partner headaches, and we were promptly reseated somewhere great and they were really cool about it! We had the nicest time. We will be back soon!!

Firefly, will alway's, deservedly, draw a crowd, for it's mysterious venue and ethereal ambiance, however, don't let their complimentary glass of sweet wine, as you are seated, fool you! Firefly's menu is less than inviting. You know you're in trouble when a "not so fancy" restaurant's liquor and wine menu is 50 times longer than its food counterpart. I had the salmon, my friend had the, highly recommended, "Mary's" chicken, both were mediocre, at best and the portions were reminiscent of a weight loss spa. I think my greyhound was the best part of the meal. So, you can keep your ivy covered building, your sexy library lounge and outdoor cabanas! Fortunately, I was in good company! We ended up at Five Guy's, 5 minutes after we left! Bon Appetite!

Strong smell of sewage wafted occasionally by our table. One pasta dish was served with sugar added instead of salt. My salad was ridiculously salty and inedible. Service was excellent. Very loud room.

Had an absolutely lovely date night here. Great ambience and our server Rachel was awesome! My fella said the steak frites was the best steak he’s ever had, and he is picky as hell. So nice job Firefly! Def will be back. Heads up though, the kitchen sometimes closes hours before the restaurant closes. So come earlier if ya want that good food :)

The venue is gorgeous with the library and open fire in the large dining room. The craft cocktails were divine. The wine menus is extensive. The food was delicious. Highly recommend!

Date night out. The atmosphere was moody and romantic. We got seated right next to a fire pit which was awesome! Food was outstanding but our waitress Rachel made this experience 12/10! Her attention to detail, kindness, and level of service was top notch! She even fixed our wobbly table! Who does that?! Awesome job Rachel! Can’t wait to return!
