I absolutely love Firefly. The service was quick and kind. We celebrated my friend's bday and they surprised her with a delicious dessert and wonderful 'Happy Birthday' song. You feel like you aren't in LA. Highly highly recommend for a date night, girls night for dinner or cocktails in the lounge area!

Great service, I believe our waiters name was Tai and he was filling our water on every pass and checking on us. The food was really good and as the sun went down the ambiance came alive with the hanging lights above the tables. We will definitely recommend to friends in town.

Firefly is a great place for special occasions (at least on our budget, in the context of which $200 for dinner for two (tax and tip included) is "special occasion" territory). We celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary at Firefly last June, and enjoyed it so much that it was an easy choice for my wife's 70th birthday dinner (just the two of us) last night. The patio is absolutely beautiful, and looks like it could have been magically transported from Florence just for us. Every dish we ordered was special, both times. The salmon in the chili-based sauce is exceptional in every way. Absolutely top marks for Firefly - a go-to place for special occasions.

Lovely dinner with visiting family. Food was really great. I’ve been to Firefly many times and this was one of the best. Good cocktails and menu had something for everyone, even vegetarians. The outside tented space is lovely. Warm and inviting with just enough heat. Will be back.

I was there for my girlfriends birthday this weekend. It was an absolute fantastic evening all around! Thanks for making it so special. The food, drinks and service was just outstanding. I believe Nathan was our server who was exceptional! The only thing I would say remotely negative is that the place as beautiful as it is it’s just a little bit too dark. Looking around seeing a fair amount of people using their iPhones to read the menu. Other than that, we can’t wait to be back! ~ 😎

Firefly is a good spot with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is excellent with some very creative, tasty combinations. The service was lacking, especially for the ambiance, cost, and menu. We sat for almost 15 minutes before someone greeted us at our table. Our drinks and food came in reasonable amount of time, but getting our second drink order and getting our dessert order took awhile as people walked by our empty glasses and plates without picking them up or seeing if we wanted more.

Everything about Firefly is amazing. At a time when service is lacking across the board, the staff at Firefly have it completely dialed in. They are kind, happy, attentive, accommodating, informative, and genuinely enjoy waiting on you. From those who great you upon arrival to the thank you for dining with us as you leave, the service is impeccable. We were 30 minutes late for our reservation due to an accident backing up traffic. We called to let them know and understood when they told us they could only hold the table for 15 minutes, but would do their best to seat us when we arrived because they were fully booked. They graciously seated us immediately upon our late arrival. The food is truly delicious. I opted for the PreFix and had the meatballs. Every review of this dish is spot on, and I agree with those who say this should be a pasta entree. The sauce is bold and full of flavor with a little chili kick. The tuna tartare was melt in your mouth delicious. Fresh with pickled ginger. The Steak Frite was cooked perfectly and was so tender it melted in your mouth. We chose the Brussels and Mac 'n" cheese for our sides. The Brussels were very good. The Mac 'n' cheese was good, but would probably not choose something else next time. Overall, a great place!!

I met my cousin for dinner. I had a glass of wine while I waited. It was one of the two roses offered by the glass from Santa Cruz. Very dry and wonderful. They have a seasonal menu and we started with the burrata with some lovely French bread and whipped butter and the Prince Edward Island mussels. The mussels were perfect with a coconut broth and a squeeze of lime. This was my favorite dish and worth returning just for another taste. Our entrees were the salmon and the steak frites. You can’t go wrong with either one. Lastly they make great bread pudding and their martini and Manhattan were fantastic! We will be back and I can’t recall why they it took me so long to return from the last time!

I haven’t been here in quite awhile but it was definitely excellent. I had the Spanish octopus as a starter. That was followed by Pappardelle pasta with truffles & the server suggested t gf arco add a protein, so chicken it is. The main course ranks up there with Spago, which is kinda a big deal. I highly recommend.

Great atmosphere. Great food thanks to the amazing waiter named Nathan. Never experienced someone as knowledgeable and fun as he was. And so knew about every food menu and kind of drink and wine on the list. Would ask for him again if I came back. Also had so many food restrictions that he worked around for us.

We sat in the newish back patio that was opened during Covid. It is much quiet than the main space which was perfect for our party of 8. Food was delicious. We split all four salad, brussel sprouts and the cheese plate. All delicious. A few in our party ordered the steak, which I did not try. I think they found the meat a little too rare.

Behind the ivy and entrance of Firefly is a beautiful romantic location with great food and service. It’s a happy lovely ambience with a great little bar as you enter. Once of my favorite places!

Service is always good and the ambience is always a delight... BUT, the kitchen was backed up and everything came out either wrong, late or at the wrong time. Medium steak was rare, caviar came without the Bellinis which were then sent out 15 minutes later etc What's crazy is that we were having dinner at 6 on a Thursday and restaurant was mostly empty! Having said all that the ridiculously empty restaurant with a "backed up kitchen" that got the orders out ring would be fine if the price point wasn't also top shelf. Fortunately we had a very accommodating waiter who was apologetic and did his best to hassle the kitchen It's a shame. We hadn't been to firefly for a year and thought we'd give it "another try". Won't probably be going back now.

I would def recommend anyone to go. Great environment, and super easy to get a reservation. Great for a one on one dinner, or large party. The waiting area is a nice lounge area so you aren't standing waiting to be seated. The food while it is pricy is fantastic, the salmon was one of the best I've had, and the service was top notch too. Will absolutely be coming back.

We had to wait at the bar for our table despite having a reservation. Additionally the food was just…bland and overpriced. And their “smashed potatoes” are more akin to a sliced baked potato. The best part was dessert. So disappointing.

Our server, Rick, was fabulously attentive, as were the other wait staff, and very personable, such as Alex. We appreciated the special treatment feeling from the moment we walked in! Fabulous culinary experience. Highly recommend the Artisanal Cheeses - this has to be one of the best starters, although it is on the Desserts menu - take my word for it!!

This is such a cute patio setting, gives upscale vibes, good modern music playing, great service and food was amazing. Very small entree selection but tons of appetizers and huge liquor and wine selection. Great for a date night or wine and snacks girls date.
