We serve food that, more often than not, accesses that part of our deepest soul where genuine expression can flow forth. We have always tried to give our food and service our best selves, as honest and vulnerable as we can muster. We strive to be a place where you might actually have a real connection; maybe with your server, maybe with your food or maybe with your possibly gracious host who is ACTUALLY glad you’re there.

Oh, you wanted a restaurant description? Sorry. Can’t really help you there. We’re not so big on labels. Our food is hard to nail down as we are constantly evolving and entirely seasonal and personal. We’ve used “Food you eat” as a tag line on occasion and that remains accurate. We could also describe it as “Food we really want you to eat”. When you’re here, tell us what you would call it.

Amazing experience and the server and owners are so sweet. My partner and I had our anniversary date there and accommodated us so well. The food in next level amazing and the fact that pretty much everything was GF was mind blowing.

I highly recommend Firefly for their food, ambiance, and service. They were excellent dealing with all our dietary needs! If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend Firefly! We will definitely be back.

Firefly is an institution in my life since the 1990s and despite all the time that has passed, they have continued to impress. A consistently great experience every time.

Delish menu with seasonal fresh ingredients.only the “ biscuit” was not gluten free and they have gf cornbread instead w fried chicken. You can get all the starters and eat tapas style but their entrees are also very enticing. They also have some gf beers.save space for dessert! Yummm!!😋 Completely safe and so , go, relax, enjoy !

Dinner was delicious as always! We had the corn fritters which are one of my all time favorites and the risotto croquette was perfect for the foggy SF summer

Food was excellent. 99% of the menu was GF, the Chef is GF, I can’t remember the last time I had so many high quality options when eating out. Wouldn’t have known anything was GF had I not been told (it was THAT good!). Service was excellent. Staff was knowledgeable and kind. They clear and wipe down the table between courses, a small but significant touch to giving the place an upscale feel. Well worth a visit, we’ll be coming back soon :)
