We serve food that, more often than not, accesses that part of our deepest soul where genuine expression can flow forth. We have always tried to give our food and service our best selves, as honest and vulnerable as we can muster. We strive to be a place where you might actually have a real connection; maybe with your server, maybe with your food or maybe with your possibly gracious host who is ACTUALLY glad you’re there.

Oh, you wanted a restaurant description? Sorry. Can’t really help you there. We’re not so big on labels. Our food is hard to nail down as we are constantly evolving and entirely seasonal and personal. We’ve used “Food you eat” as a tag line on occasion and that remains accurate. We could also describe it as “Food we really want you to eat”. When you’re here, tell us what you would call it.

    Great neighborhood restaurant. We had a vegetarian in our party and there were multiple options for meat-lovers and vegetarians. Fun beer selections.

    This was good for us. A gluten free restaurant is hard to find. Ate outside in the parklet which kinda messed with my anxiety. You see, it feels like one sits about 12” from the road with cars passing by ya. Very dog friendly. Worth the visit.

    Wonderful service and delicious food. Delicious appetizers included the sweet potatoes, the radish cakes, and the seed loaf. My friend had the trout and I had the fried chicken- both were outstanding.

    Delicious food, I liked the multiple vegan selections. But the noise level was unacceptable. I couldn't hear the people across from me. They need to remove a table, for starters.

    Another neighborhood restaurant that has no reason to be this good. We had the dog with us so we sat outside, which was a little chilly at first despite working heaters, but once the wind died down it was fine. Service was cheerful without being obsequious. There was some kind of odd flatbreadish thing that made a superb appetizer, and a perfectly respectable if not very exciting salad. The crusted trout was off the charts: delicious and melt-in-your-mouth, accompanied by delicious bok choi (quite a kick!) and cold asian noodle salad. My date's lamb stew was equally scrumptious. The butterscotch pudding was off the menu for the time being, so we skipped dessert.
