We went to Firefly for the first time and loved it. Making a reservation online was so easy. We went for the Early Bird specials and they had a great menu and the portion sizes were just right. Also shared a wonderful dessert. Can’t wait to go back again.
A lovely evening. We started with the famous and so wonderful crab soup. We all had sunset specials which were marvelous. Great wine list and satisfied our own sommelier with great service. A memorable and delicious evening.
Firefly delivers the best fine dining experience on Panama City Beach.
Fine food and wine are priced accordingly, but sunset specials and happy hour allow everyone a chance to experience the delicious food and drink. Staff are earnest and gracious and quickly address any minor mishaps. Be sure to visit Firefly!
When we made a reservation we asked for a booth We were set at a table The radio was so loud that you cannot have a conversation Music was back-and-forth between country music and hard rock We did ask the manager to turn it down
I got the special it’s took forever to get our food by the time the other two members got their sushi had to send it back because it was warm Not sure what y’all did with the cheesecake but it was very nasty like a Jell-O substance They did complement our desserts Was very disappointed with the atmosphere we usually go here to have a quiet family meetings
Our server was excellent! the food was fantastic !
Jamison our waiter was great. Food was wonderful as well. Can’t beat the sushi here. Will go back again next vacation.
Every aspect of our experience at Fire Fly was exceptional.
Not fine dining. Extremely average food. Slow but friendly service. Too loud. Reminded us of being in a cafeteria. Calamari tasted like the stuff you get, in a box, from the frozen section of the grocery store. She-crab soup was nothing special. The salmon was soaked in a WAY to gingery soy sauce. Stuffed filet was unappetizing. Made a reservation, still had to wait, they they tried to give us a horrible table. Had to go all the way to the manger to get an acceptable place to sit. No idea where the other reviewers eat that they consider this"fine dining"; this isn't it. Have already warned off the neighbors.
Firefly was right across the street from our resort, so the travel time was impeccable. Was immediately charmed by the "library" waiting area - and loved the ambiance of the tree in the middle. The food was great: we had ravioli and the She Crab soup as appetizers - and my husband also had their caesar salad with crab meat on top. (The soup came without a spoon and it took a while to get someone's attention - but fortunately the bowls and plates were hot enough to endure the wait!) Enjoyed a half bottle of the Justin Cab.
For entrees, I had the short rib and added a side of scallops - delicious! And for dessert, my husband ordered the cheesecake. (The cheesecake itself was less sweet - more chessy - so wan't my favorite. But the topping helped out a ton!)
Best part of the experience was our waiter, Jamison. He instantly made a connection, knew I needed a spoon before I asked, and recommended a great wine.
We're from out of town, but if we're ever back in PCB, we'll be back!
Easy to make a reservation. Seated immediately. Prompt service. Very good food.
I think I first dined at Firefly in 2012-2013 and have eaten here a dozen times since. This is my favorite spot in PCB. I was here for my birthday dinner at the end of January and then again this past weekend. As always, both the service and the food were superb. Jeff was our server and he took excellent care of us both times this year. I highly recommend the She Crab soup but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
Good service, greetings staff could be more engaged, ambiance is nice, food options lean to foodies, but something for everyone . Make menu fonts more varied, but readable.
This was the best meal I have had in some time! Great server! Every bite we had was delicious!!
Great food, great atmosphere. Had the sushi for the first time and it was a hit. Best creme brulee in the panhandle!
