Eclectic menu that you can pick and choose from. From the opening bread to dessert not a item.suggest the octopus salad, calamari, van halen roll. Service was at the level of a fine Italian restaurant but in a casual setting. Waiter Bill on the money and bus boy oversaw any needs. And nice to have open table to make a reservation in an area were most restaurants don’t take reservations. Looked like good steaks I just don’t eat them on a beach. Best A

As always, the Full Moon sushi roll did not disappoint! Loved the escargot appetizer - pure and simple with cheesy garlic butter sauce. My wife's halibut special and my scallop entree were all on point, as was the cream brulee. Great service and timing with courses. Enjoyable evening. Only complaint was with the three guys wearing their baseball caps - come on guys, remove your hat!

Everything we had to eat was amazing! Delicious appetizers and sushi! I had the pepper crusted stuffed filet it was by far one of the best steaks I have ever had! The customer service was great couldn’t recommend this restaurant more! We will definitely be back next time we are in Panama City.

Interesting interior - it did not match the vibe of the food. But the guitars were impressive!!!! Service was fantastic. Everyone was very attentive. Food was amazing. Definitely one of the better meals we had while in Panama City Beach.

We both ordered the Australian Rack of Lamb. It was good but it took over 1/2 hour to get plus it had quite a bit of fat. It may be due to the type of rack of lamb(Australian). We had Creme Brûlée for desert and it was excellent. The waitress was somewhat good. Very pleasant but it took about 10 minutes before she actually came to take our drink/food order. We both agreed to give FireFly another try when we come back to PCB in February 2024.

Horrible time, had reserve for my birthday in advance online, we end up in a small room and was very loud with a group celebrating? Decor for color in that room was depressing. No ambiance period. Food was good and service also good. We were not even acknowledged even if on your reservation website it it's for a special occasion.

I don't get why this place is so highly rated. I had shrimp and grits, which was so salty it almost knocked me out of my chair. The caesar salad was good, but served in an "edible" bowl that was totally inedible. We were seated in a side room that had all the charm of a coat closet (not the "romantic" ambiance advertised so widely). They charge 3.5% for credit cards (why not just add that into the price of the food and offer a discount for cash? who carries around that kind of cash?). Service was perfectly nice, except that the server (I won't say "waitress") who was "taking care of us" referred to me as "miss". I am 60 years old. Puh-lease. Definitely won't be going back.

Disappointed in our meal. The Shrimp and Grits had too much sauce surrounding a very crispy fried Gouda grit cake and the grilled shrimp were rubbery. The sushi was good except the crab was left off the Devil’s Advocate roll. Wait staff did the minimum. Not a fine dining experience that night for us. This was our fourth visit to Firefly during our trips to Panama City Beach so we have an idea of the quality of food and service that we should receive when we dine at Firefly. Our experience on 3/11/23 was poor quality food, fair service, and overpriced for what we received. We will be checking out other establishments when we visit Panama Beach.

We thought we were going to experience fine dining. My husband and I dressed up for a nice birthday dinner. Other customers were in shorts and polos. It took 45 minutes for our appetizer to come to the table. The manager brought it out and apologized. Our entree was mediocre at best. Our server was awkward and did not monitor our table well. And then when we got the bill, we thought the appetizer would have been comped but it wasn’t. We didn’t even stay for dessert. The only birthday celebration we received was a “happy birthday” from our very awkward server.

I absolutely have always loved the Tree with the lights in the middle of the restaurant. Makes the ambiance beautiful. This night was a celebratory night. And while the appetizers and salads were delicious… the stumble was in the entrees. The Center Cut Filet was the best steak that I have had in a very long time. Beautiful 8 oz portion and cut like butter! Prepared a perfect Medium! The Onion Rings … WAY to much batter that was overwhelming with some raw batter. The Mashed Potatoes were pure silky golden goodness. A friend ordered the Pepper Crusted Stuffed Filet WITHOUT the Pepper Crust. It was brought to the table with the Pepper Crust. The music was a little too loud and may be better genre could be chosen.

Our food was just okay. We came here as a recommendation from our hotel. We were visiting from out of town and wanted a really nice restaurant for family dinner. The waitress was super pleasant. Ambiance was not upscale….just a tad cheesy with the tree and lights in the dining room.

I’m not sure but it seems like they haven’t figured out a theme or type of food they want to specialize in. We had the salmon and gulf grouper. Both were very good. We were seated in a small room. It looks like the main dining room is decorated very cute with strings of little lights. They should maybe consider that throughout. Overall it was a good experience

Wonderful anniversary meal. Our server’s name was Gracious and she was a delight. My filet was cooked perfectly and my husbands ribeye was as well. I always get the Blue Cheese Wedge salad and it was delicious and my husband said his escargot was delicious as well. Got a slice of mango passion fruit cheesecake to go for a treat later on and it was very good too. Thank you Firefly for a great anniversary dinner!

Overall a poor experience for us! I had such high hopes given their rating. Maybe they were great once, but not in my opinion. Feels like an old bowling alley walking in. Cheap and dated decor. Service was okay. Our server was nice enough. We shared a wedge to start with their house made balsamic which is basically balsamic and oil. More oil than balsamic, no flavor. Hubs ordered a center cut filet and I ordered crab cakes with coconut rice and broccolini. His filet was good; mashed potatoes and green beans were both room temp. Definitely not freshly prepared. My crab cakes tasted like they were prepared that morning and sat on the counter ever since. Not hot, not even warm, but stale and old. Coconut rice was disgusting. Why tomatoes in coconut rice?! Broccolini was clearly prepared way in advance as well. Cold and mushy. Needless to say we won’t be back!
