   Firefly is my favorite restaurant in Panama City Beach! It’s beautiful inside and the food is out of this world! The service is very personable and the waiters and waitresses are always top notch!

   This was a family celebration dinner. The waitress was attentive and did a good job. This restaurant doesn’t have an identity, it tries to be something it’s not. It has a Vegas feel to it, dark with service staff huddling in the hallways. Get them in and a out. Overpriced food selections lacking in presentation warranting such. They charge you additional 3.5% if using an credit card. The red snapper special was dry and disappointing. Both chicken and steak offerings were enjoyed, but expensive. Drinks are acceptable, but pricey. Folks seeking a memorable evening, serving food to match have very limited options in PCB. To their credit, they offered to correct my disappointment.

   Me and my wife originally came here for our third wedding anniversary. Everything was great. I'm from the industry, and know how table touches, maybe a dessert, little things go a long way. Enter our 5th anniversary, at the same restaurant. Our server, Molly, started out polite enough, but after her first act she was non-existent. I acknowledge we came over Memorial day weekend, and they were busy. She never checked on my filet mignon, which I ordered medium but came out rare. But it was a good steak. Then come check time, she informed us that "management" chooses who makes the cut for a dessert or champagne toast, and that they don't do that on the fly. We made our reso months ago, and was in the notes of special occasion. Then Molly tried to push their sister restaurant on us for a competition they had. Said to drop her name. For these reasons, it is not a special occasion place we wish to frequent again.

    Side dining rooms are not great, we asked for the main dining room and were told no as they were booked When we were seated at 5:15 there were at least 10 open tables in the main dining room instead they sat us right next to a large party of 8 with a crying baby Food was average and all us ordered different things red fish special , ribeye , and grouper , seems like Fire Fly is compromising and losing their vision of remaining a top classy recommendation for a great dinner Would not recommend after my experience last night

    Higher end restaurant. Nice for special occasions. Prices higher but quality is better than most places. Note there is a surcharge for using credit card. It is stated on the menu but some people might miss it.

    Escargot was to die for! Same for the crab cakes. Stuffed filet was amazing as was the Elk. From start to finish was perfect. Love the atmosphere and decor. I’ve never had a dining experience that outstanding in PCB. You’ve got to try this place out.

    Service was very good. She Crab soup delicious as always. Shrimp appetizer was very good as well. I had the Elk and my wife had the filet. Elk was a little gamey, but that's not their fault. Beef filet was very nice.

    received a gift certificate for Mother's Day and made a reservation. Lovely restaurant, very attentive service, and delicious food! We started with the kobi beef bruschetta, delicious! Then a seafood chowder, wonderful. Husband had stuffed filet mignon which he thoroughly enjoyed; I had scallops which were also very good. Order a lobster tail to share, delicious! We took dessert to go, chocolate torte and key lime pie. Both good but like the key lime pie better. Very enjoyable evenng

    First visit to the Firefly while vacationing in PCB. There is plenty of parking as the restaurant is in a shopping center. The ambience of the restaurant is nice but the main dining room is a big room with a very big tree in the center. The tree is unusual and lovely, however some ambience is lost because of the big room as it's a little noisy. (Nothing to block or sooth sounds in such a large room). The service was great. Giselle and everyone did a fantastic job or taking care of us. The bread was fresh and soft and served with 3 spreads...savory, sweet and tomato like marinara. My husband found them to be good but I opted for butter. We ordered the Brussel Sprouts appetizer which my husband loved. the dressing they served with it was the perfect compliment. I had a wedge salad which was plentiful with bacon, tomatoes, blue cheese. Excellent blue cheese dressing. My husband enjoyed his Ceasar salad which was served in a large parmegiana bowl. Nice touch! My husband ordered the Filet with whipped potatoes and haricot vert and really liked it. I really wanted a steak but the only choices were 2 Filet dishes and a 2 lb Rib Eye. I don't care for filet mignon but ordered it because that was the only viable steak option. My husband really enjoyed his meal. Mine was fine. I did order a lobster tail too which was a cold water tail and very sweet! In fact, if I ever return, I'd probably go with the 2 lobster tails entree. Overall the entrees were varied with Elk and Bison on the menu. But I was hoping for a few more fish and steak entree choices. My husband was very happy with his meal. My dinner came home in a "to go" box (I got full on the salad) which hubby just finished for his for lunch today. He said it was just as good as the other night.

    First time at Firefly. Food was EXCELLENT - had escargot, sushi, and a wedge salad. Be sure and ask for the bread - the different spreads are really good. … The atmosphere in the main dining room is very nice. … The service is where the issues were.     The drinks and service was good, but the food I experienced so much more , it wasn’t terrible but I got the twin lobster tails and it just did not taste very fresh at all. May have just been that night but I wasn’t super impressed with my food.

    Firefly was advertised as most romantic meal in PCB. We made our reservation and let them know it was our wedding meal. Emailed them indicating same, special night! Seated in middle of loud dining room, (not in a bit more private side table) kids on iPads, kids crying, acoustics noisy. Andrew X our server was lovely and apologized for the 55 minute wait for our overcooked pasta. Disappointing.

    Wanted to plan one nice dinner for our family vacation and this was the perfect spot! We had a large group and were put in a private dining room. We had Clive as our server and he was great. He gave great recommendations and was on top of everything. I wish I knew his assistants name too. She was also wonderful! As far as food our sushi was delicious and many people in our group loved the elk! 10/10 would recommend. :)

    The ambiance was lovely. The noise level was good. Not too loud. The food was mostly good. The cheese tray was awful. The okra was too hard to bite into. The cheese tasted like okra or pickles. There was HARDLY ANY cheese on the cheese tray. The mystery meat on the cheese tray tasted like pickles. There was not enough bread on the tray (or crackers to eat with the cheese). The waitress did not bother to explain what was on the tray, so we had NO IDEA what we were eating. The soup and salads were good. The bread and spreads were AMAZING. The steaks were good. We were not crazy about the potato hash?? However, it took forever for the entrees to be served. And when we asked for the manager to come by to discuss the poor service and how long it took to get the entrees, he basically told us that it was our fault because we had 4 courses. (my words; not his) That was his excuse for how long it took. The service started out good but then got very poor as the night wore on (dragged on). We couldn't wait to get out of there. Probably Won't be back. Have not decided. I've been there twice and this is the 2nd time that it took forever to get the food.

    My family and I ate here two nights in a row. Both times the service and atmosphere was exceptional! The first night we ordered off the american menu, not sure if that's the correct term, and everything we got was amazing. The second night we ordered off the sushi side. Sweet and spicy shrimp were amazing and our 5 sushi rolls were very good but had us wishing for maybe something else as the prior nights meal set very high expectations. We will definitely be back again and encourage anyone in the area to visit.
